I agree with Kisoep, and i want to add that many people angry/displeasured that newer players are going to get cosmetics from past seasons for "free" are forgetting to take into consideration the enormous amount of time and dedication they will have to put together to get the candles needed in two weeks, which will be random and the player might still not have enough by the time the spirit leaves. And some players might spend real money on candle packs instead of trying to gather the candles themselves so in no way these items are coming for free to us.

I think things that required the adventure pass to be unlocked are iffy. For example, I feel the Lightseeker umbrella and the Belonging bow hair should be allowed even if the AP was needed, but not the bigger Gratitude masks or Belonging instruments. The fancier more expensive it was the less fair I'd feel it is, unless candle prices were to reflect that. Although I want to add that I feel that shouldn't exclude a spirit from coming back, just make the unlock tree smaller or combine it with another.
-How do you feel about this feature as someone who started late and missed one or more seasons?
I missed Gratitude so I'm biased towards getting anything from it, though at the same time I feel it's a bit unfair if I were to unlock everything. I really like everyone being able to have souvenirs from past seasons though!
+How do you feel about the length the Spirits are available?
Pretty good! I don't think it'd hurt being extended by a day but the weekend is a pretty good window of time. Maybe when we're not currently in a season the traveling spirits stay for the weekdays rather than weekends, or the whole week.

I saw the beta ones and thought those were fair and I think the ones in live are equally fair. I think Kisoep really nailed it with their points in regards to this!

Nothing really comes to mind, maybe instead of spells at least one emote upgrade is added or guaranteed rare spells?

No.

Those who spend on APs would simply get early access to seasonal items. Much like being able to open Rewards by buying Candle/❤️ Packs. Those who can’t, or don’t wish to, buy AP would simply have to wait for Travelling Spirits.

Perhaps to favour those who buy APs, rewards from the previous season should not immediately become available. Such rewards can be made available closer to the next season. So that Early access through buying APs has more value.

-How do you feel about this feature as someone who has participated in all of the seasons?
I haven’t. Still, I might not buy a AP if I can get rewards through Traveling Spirits. I don’t know if previous Ultimate Rewards would be available, so will see if the UR is worth it.

I think it is a nice addition for newer users, or those who could not get an AP

It might require grinding for candles, but not a bad alternative to not having an AP. Seems worth making the effort for.

A wide range of opinions on the Traveling Spirits offerings. Maybe the answer is that they belong to no previous Season and have an offering all their own

also I don't think I saw anyone mention it but even if you make 15 candles daily a lot of people trade candles for hearts with people daily which kind of puts you a bit behind if you're grinding for the traveler, not by a lot but it's something to keep in mind

When the season isn’t on, there are daily quests that allow for 4-5 candles to the max 15.. one might not need each reward, or can wait for a Traveling Spirit to return. There is no rush.. unless they don’t return

I had to reload valley something like maybe 8-10 times before the spirit finally worked for me. I even posted a bug report.

Although the part in my report about not being able to get it to work, and missing out on a candle, are no longer true... since I got it to work and all... oh well.

Try exiting from ice ring to home, through menu (not portal), use (continue game) portal at Home to return to ice ring area again. That worked for me.

Alternatively, get to ice ring, quit game/ close game. Restart, use continue portal at Home to return to ice ring

It’s not a sure fix, just worked for me, saved time by not starting area from the beginning again.

I like idea of Travelling spirits, instead of season repeats.

As for APs/ ultimate gifts, not being able to afford AP shouldn’t exclude someone from rewards. Buying AP should simply give users Early Access to Seasonal Rewards.

Game offers no particular advantage for having most of the cosmetic reward items. Users should not be excluded from enjoying items, they just have to wait longer to get them. Not forced to spend.

Doesn’t seem that kind of game, where spending more results in a better gaming experience. Reward Capes & masks don’t make you faster. Being able to enjoy items before other users seems a fair enough perk of getting AP. Ultimate reward can simply cost tons of candles/ ❤️s for those without AP, instead of being unattainable for others.

Today’s spirit for the relive quest seems to be having a hard time. If you can’t complete their quest, try reentering the area after a short time to reset your checkpoint and try again. This issue has been flagged to the devs, but make sure to contact costumer support as they can offer compensation for such bugs!

I don't think you should contact Support about a known issue. There is a work around, please use it. And then perhaps also write a bug report.

yeah, since there are a lot of bug reports about it, it means that TGC is aware and working on a solution, which is why I thought it would be unnecessary for lots of people to require support from them

When the relive spirit failed before I seem to remember that TGC compensated everyone. Can’t remember how. I imagine they will do the same this time.

If you can’t do the spirit and receive your currency they want you to contact support, as you can usually get the spirit by going home and back with the return shrine

Odd, just before the day rolled over, I was escorting a moth in valley and had the same problem, the spirit refused to work

Had the moth activate the spirit and then it vanished

Finally managed to get the spirit quest 😅 Went to sliding race, lit the candle, sat, then after race cutscene went straight back to ice rink, and was able to complete relive spirit quest 😃

and resetting to get the spirit to show up: you don't necessarily need to fully reset the app, but you do need to spawn into a new instance of the area. Usually I go home, wait a while until I connect with other players again, and then use the "return" shrine

Also experienced issue with valley spirit quest. Collected seasonal candles then flew over to the meditation spot. When I flew back to the ice rink, Spirit was able to be completed.

Just verified the work around with a friend. Spirit issue upon entering ice rink. Flew out gate to citadel. Turned around after white transition screen and flew back to ice rink. Spirit available and my friend was able to complete quest. Hope that helps others until a real fix.

Okay unpopular opinion, but I’m kinda disappointed that the nextspiriz is umbrella boy, cuz It should stay something special for people who got the pass at that time. With the umbrella you can do forest everyday really easy — moved it from lore discussion

the workaround worked for me too, just took like 8 tries:
navigate to ice rink.
teleport home.
enter return shrine.
try spirit.
repeat ^^^^

@rain garden you need to at least 52 days worth of quests to finish everything, and there are only 39 days left, so you won't be able to get everything if you buy the pass today, but you'd still be able to get a lot of the seasonal content if you did

The suggestion posted above worked for me. Take the righthand gateway to the short race, after the cut scene return to the rink and try the spirit again.
