You just need to find someone who’s energy is depleted and warm them up. In forest caves is a place where everyone runs out of energy, though I bet you find someone by surprise to fill up before that. Most are depleted by the rain too.

It’s the biggest grind ever, and in the past was certainly worth it, the end of season reward was very special and unique, but now with traveling spirits, And the fact that they put the piano which everyone thought would be the ultimate reward in a tree you could get from a traveling spirit in the future, not sure if the pass is as mandatory as it was in past seasons
The deer mask, umbrella, and campfire were pretty great rewards
This season it’s a mask and owl hair
And you can get a free mask, pair of pants, and plenty of other stuff in the “free version”
If you haven’t been collecting regularly this far you will need to calculate if you will have enough time to finish the season, as I mentioned about this season being a grind, this season requires more candles than ever before to get through

And it’s 330 for everything
So if you go for it today you can still get it all if you don’t miss many days

The second is to sit at in the circle at home and hope a friend arrives home or logs on

@fathom minnow the first time i got it, the bridge was there but someone burned it down just as i was on it :') i fell down and managed to climb back up with a different route and completed the spirit - try exploring around that area

Agreed. Not as mandatory, and likely not as valuable (depending on what your time’s worth). I’d be really curious about how TGC balances that for future traveling spirits. Having missed Lightseekers, I’d LOVE to be able to get my hands on the umbrella, BUT it just wouldn’t be the same umbrella if I could easily do so, TBH.
I dunno. On one hand, I think maybe it’s best if I never get the umbrella. That keeps it kinda magical. On the other, you KNOW eventually ppl with umbrellas are gonna stop playing the game.
If TGC is really putting thought into trying to strike the right balance, I’ll bet it’s tough to sort out. If they don’t, all those trinkets (and the game) lose value. I don’t envy them for having that puzzle.

I think the traveling spirits is a great idea and if I’m not wrong you can’t get the umbrella unless you have all of the seasonal spirits no? In theory they’re already making the balance since it’ll stick to a /pay to progress vs free to play time gap/ idea similar to candle runs vs buying candles.
I think any game (Sky included) should have a proper way to have all things accessible without real money

Quests are the same difficulty as past seasons.
Spirits are too easy to find and complete (especially the wasteland one).
There should be more quest diversity. Gratitude and Lightseekers had their own season-specific quests, like meditating and catching the light. Belonging and Rhythm haven't had anything special of their own. Harder quests would be cool.

-This season’s spirit quests were much easier than those from previous seasons.
-IMO they were, in fact, too easy, especially the wasteland one, which i feel should be hard, but this season it was almost a cakewalk.
-With regards to quest types, I really enjoy the carry ones when there’s a reason for them to be carry quests. Some carry spirits are boring though. For example, the vault spirit this season should not be a carry quest, because there’s no point in it being a carry quest. It’s not hard, just annoying. The fragment-gathering quest type isn’t used frequently enough, but I really like its execution on the manta call spirit. I feel that there need to be more types of quests. We currently only have three types. A larger variety would be nice.
-I enjoy doing the quests alone the first time and with friends or strangers to help them when they need it
-additional note: after the season is over, the areas added by the seasons seem awfully empty, especially Pineswood. Maybe you can populate them with something, anything. More spirits, perhaps? And maybe... just maybe... behind the door in Pineswood... 🐸

-I feel like the complexity has stayed the same, they are not too hard and can be completed in a quick play session, with a few exceptions of course (looking at you, group-hand-holding quest >_>)
-Imo this time around the spirits were too easy and too short. And I’m not going to lie, even if it was hard I actually enjoyed the difficulty in getting previous Wasteland emotes, they were fun to complete ^^
-We definitely need more quest diversity, especially in relive x spirit quests. Adding a few more spirits to the relive pool would be cool. And overall, implementing new types of quests feels like it would make doing them feel less like a chore and more like fun missions. A suggestion: Perhaps those old missions from pre-global release, the ones that required you to collect light fragments, could be repurposed as quests?
-I like to do both ways tbh, But doing them with friends is definitely more fun!

The manta liberation quests could maybe be matched in other realms by butterfly liberation quests? Empty areas that used to house seasonal spirits might make good places for meditation quest spots.

Definitely need some variety on the daily quests. They are getting very boring and repetitive, especially for those of us who have been playing a long time. The free the manta quest is a real pain and almost always it involves having to trigger a server merge in the hope the plants haven’t already been burned when you arrive. Having the quest menu appear without having to redeem any pending candles would be a big help too.
This season the spirit quests were ridiculously easy, no challenge at all and rather a ‘non- event’. We definitely need tougher spirit quests, maybe carry quests in tough terrain, scattered light quests in good flying areas etc, maybe even a long distance travel quest with cryptic visual clues that you have to find and light before moving on to the next clue in the chain. More difficult quests also provides more opportunities for team play and helping out newer players and making friends and developing skills. Currently the spirit quests are over very quickly, we need to work harder for them and maybe have the option to repeat them while the season is on or they change over the course of the season for bonus candles or an emote upgrade.
Bottom line, game needs to be more challenging as it’s heading towards making everything as simple as possible, which might be fine for the first few days of playing but after that it’s incredibly boring and tedious.

-Personally, tasks were alright for me compared to the season of the lightseekers and the season of belonging. This is mainly because i don’t have much time to play in general and these tasks make it easier for my to “get my grind on” and let me unlock the different nodes for the spirits! One thing I’d like to note is that, the gifting task is sort of “eh” for me, because I was trying to save up enough candles for the Ferret mask from the returning spirits but because of the gifting task i was a few candles short and ended up having to purchase some candles in shop. Overall, it’s great and I enjoy doing the quests ｡◕‿◕｡
-The spirits this time were a little challenging with the guiding quests, especially the one in wasteland. I had to attempt it 3 times to be able to get the spirit because the first two times i was trying to get it, the fungi on the way to the last guiding checkpoint was burnt and it was kind of hard to get the spirit up there,,, The guiding quests are fun! but maybe a little change in the route would be better!
- The quest diversity was nice for me this season, i personally enjoyed the tasks that allowed me to interact with friends (minus the gifting one) and the meditation tasks!
-most of the time i complete the missions solo before going on candle runs with my friends, but we usually save the wasteland tasks so that we can complete them together!

-A little more designed quest complexity could go a long way, particularly designs that themselves are story or lore driven.
-Too easy in most cases. I like a good hunt.
-I feel that the quest diversity could use some new experiments! Why not a scavenger hunt of multiple landmarks or perhaps making use of the ability to carry upside down crabs? The possibilities are endless, but a few could be fun or hilarious rather than linear and repetitive.
-Friends make everything better! Solo works for lunch break relaxation though.

the quests are so easy to complete, especially reliving spirits and catching the light. i absolutely adore the meditation quests, but i wish we had a larger variety of quests available and that there were some new things at least every few weeks or so in each realm. i like that the quests aren’t super time consuming and don’t require devoting a lot of time to it in order to interact with the season. i prefer completing them by myself, but having a friend with me for some new quests might make them easier or more fun in the future

A little late to share my opinion, but I just felt like adding in.
Difficulty: Rhythm is definitely easier than the past seasons, there’s not too much of a problem with this however, the spirits and their spirit trees make up for the lack of a challenge. This is arguably good news for the newer players who are starting to get a grip of the game, however. Too much of a challenge and they’ll likely start to lose interest in the game because of the difficulty.
Spirits: So far, I’d say that this seasons spirits are relatively easy to encounter too, the majority of them being in plain sight the entire time. As I said, this is perfectly fine for newcomers who are starting to understand the game, and the spirits’ trees make up for it all.
Quests: As much as I hate to say it, I’ve been expecting something new for the past few seasons. Don’t get me wrong, I love the ones we already have but I can’t help but feel as though we’ve been going through the same routine over the course of weeks, even months if we count the last season.
Some of them are friend based, which while they make things easier and more appreciable, they can lead to problems like organisation and long waiting times.
Also, the last ultimate gift this season was a little... unexpected, to say the least. Nothing wrong with it, but I know some of us, including myself were expecting something different. While I’m not willing to invest all this time into something as underwhelming as hair, I will still continue on with the season, I know how hard you guys over at TGC have worked to make this appeal to us all, and to simply shun this isn’t in my plans. What I will suggest however, is changing the ultimate gift. In beta, ||the ultimate gift hair belonged to the Vault spirit||, selfish as this might sound, perhaps you could switch it around with something else of equal or greater value considering there’s still plenty of time left in the season.

I feel Rhythm's difficulty was pretty easy in comparison to the others, at most the GW some times a krill will path through that path or the dark plant steps were burnt, but had no issues. I think GW is the most notable change in difficulty, gratitude, lightseekers and belonging had increasingly harder quests but Rhythm's was a stroll hehe.
idk if i can answer finding them bc I had already been told where they were 😳 but they were easy to complete yes. some times it can feel pretty mindless, but that's why i did like the puzzle for belonging Isle, there was a puzzle to solve (even if it was simple)

This seasons quests was definitely on the easier side. I didn’t “clean” collect it as i had it all from the beginning but i went with friends to help them. They were as easy as its original run. And while it’s nothing wrong with that, GW especially has this reputation of being stupidly difficult/hard because of all the krills and the crabs. This seasons had one krill which you could avoid entirely if timed correctly.

For me, which knew where to look. Even pre-beta stages for Rhythm, i feel like i can’t say much on this. They where however easy to complete or guide correctly.

I would love more quests diversity, like you did with lightseekers and added catch the light— i want something like that for other seasons. Themed quests i guess.
I get the most enjoyment out of the escort quests, they have a nice learning curve and i feel they get progressively harder to do. Which i find endearing and fun.

With friends for sure. This season i’ve mostly done my quests (and spirits) with friends and i find it so much more enjoyable.

I don’t think it’s seasonal, but yes, it should be at home when the time comes around. The confusion comes from the fact that the swing pack comes with an adventure pass, this is just because the days of love event is running at the same time as the Season of Rhythm, making this a good time to buy the pack and share it with someone close to you.

Since this is pretty much my second season (or even the first since I started playing since Jan 1 2020 and wasn't really aware of the previous season) I feel like it's the same as the winter one.

After having 100+ hrs in Sky after a month of playing I feel like I know the map by heart, or at least quite good, so it wasn't an exact issue to find spirits and complete their quests. I would't say it's too easy, but relatively easy, yeah. Once you know the spirits mechanic anyway.
-How do you feel about the quest diversity? Do you like chasing the spirits in a linear fashion? Collecting scattered fragments? Are escort/carryball/payload quests your jam?
I like the different styles and I wouldn't mind the increased difficulty in places like Wasteland. I don't particularly picky about the styles, but I can say I found a good friend while doing a regular spirit quest in Wasteland (we had to do it 3 times), so diversity/difficulty tweaks are always welcome!
-Do you like completing them solo or with friends?

Also, I would love to touch the Ultimate Gift topic as well, as I wanted to provide that feedback for a long time and now it's good time to do so. I feel like the Ultimate reward for this season is rather.. weak? I get that we all have different taste and preference and some would like this mask/hair, some would not, but at the end of the day it's either/or. It's a cosmetic item that adds nothing to the gameplay and feels like another mask/hair. The reward (in my opinion), should be practical so even if someone won't like the appearance of an item, they would at least use it for something (like fireplace or umbrella). While the cosmetic items are nice, there's 50/50 chance you will never wear them, when with practical item you can at least use it.
I got this season pass pretty much bc my girlfriend and I decided to play it daily so why not to have all the benefits, and it was the sole reason. I really liked the winter season, but I joined it during the last couple of days and it was too late for me get the pass and complete all the spirits quests (leave alone even understand what's going on since I was a newbie) and I was quite excited about this new season, but so far, regarding items/ultimate gift, it's rather season to forget than to remember. I'm not saying it's bad, but I guess my expectations were too high. I would happily continue supporting your game with my wallet, but for me, personally, practicality > cosmetics. I'm sure I'm not alone. This is fair towards the store purchase. I would happily pay for bonfire/umbrella.

I’ve found this season far easier that Belonging or Lightseekers (I started playing during Lightseekers).

After playing for a few months and having most of the map memorized, too easy. I would love it if I had to spend more time searching for the spirits in different nooks and crannies of the map.

I’d love more collecting quests to replace some of the escort ones! Something like a timed collecting quest in the sunny underground forest or in the path of the krill, something that would push our flying skills?

I’m a Sky hermit through and through so I always appreciate the ability/option to complete most of my quests solo.
I’ll echo what others have said about the ultimate prize for Rhythm being a bit underwhelming, especially when compared to the functionality or the umbrella and campfire. On a positive note, I love the changes made to Home and I’d love to see Home decorated for future seasons.

the quests have always been way too easy and it's kind of a bummer to see quests reused from previous seasons. having more quest variety would be more enjoyable and interesting than the same preset quest lineup for specific realms.

the spirits are quite easy, i'd say. i feel as though the only difficult spirits are wasteland. when i was new to the game and did the gratitude spirit in wasteland, it was pretty scary and difficult. being better at the game now and used to wasteland, it has become less of a challenge. i also think having spirits out in plain sight makes it too easy, like the prairie spirit.

i would absolutely love collecting quests, and though i feel as if players will be lazy with payload quests, i think it'd still be nice. maybe y'all can put those easter eggs and constellation plates back to use?

the quests that involve friends, i'm not the biggest fan of. something about having to rely on friends doesn't sit with me, but that's just cuz i like being alone. from an unbiased view, i think they're fine as is to promote friendship. completing all the quests with a friend tagging along is alright too.
overall, seasons need to be more challenging and engaging. i would say the ultimate reward is very underwhelming, but i'm assuming the piano being the ultimate reward didn't make sense due to it being sold in an IAP, or something similar, so that's fine.

This is actually my first season I’m really participating in. I really enjoy it so far! I got myself a xylophone and anime hair so far, and now I’m gonna be saving up for some fancy pants!
I solo most of my stuff. I like the fact that the quests are doable so I don’t have to grind for too long. I personally prefer quests where I don’t need friends to be online, like opening multiplayer doors or gifting a candle, over the ones where I do, such as high fiving.

As a general rule, the candles are always in the portal that the quest giver is standing in front of, and are around the area of that portal’s respective seasonal spirit
Eg. If the quest giver was standing in front of Prairie, the candles would be in the bird’s nest, since that’s where the Season of Rhythm Prairie Spirit is

I did the math, 52 days remain for the season, I only have 3 spirits left. If I get 4 candles every day, i will have over 90 candles (give or take) left when i get all the cosmetics.

You can get one each from the quests from the questgiver
And then there are four candle bunches in the level behind the quest giver. You can get one seasonal candle from finding all four

And the season pass places an extra candle on the altar at the start of each game day.

Sometimes they are tricky to find. I would just recommend running around looking everywhere for those. Tip: they are all in the same area. Once you find the seasonal spirit or a seasonal candle bunch you don’t have to go too far for the others

If you do enough runs for those extra seasonal, you get into the habit of just bumping into them. They’re intentionally placed.
But a few heroes post location images or even videos here.

@trim kraken if you’re looking for the big red candle heaps it’s better to ask in #questions-and-help since they are not seasonal
@verbal tree the seasonal candles have 8 specific spots in each realm. They rotate each time the realm comes around for the daily quests. They will always be somewhere around the seasonal spirit. So, once you memorise those spots it’s easy to find them.
