(To the pirate lovers specifically who couldn't resist buying the new days of treasure hat) is anybody else having the problem with the new iap days of treasure hat where if you wear hair with it then start moving around, the hair will start to clip through the hat?

Also lowkey didn't expect for the straw to be in the middle node. We had this problem with the jellyfish whisperer with the hair being in central node.

Might be a bug bc I guess the spirit tree was made in a hurry to compensate with the sunbather? Because it definitely didn't seem randomised and was brought up on purpose so they had little time to properly code the tree. Though this has been fixable in the case of jellyfish so there's a hope for a fix in future

If I am not mistaken, you would need a total of 125 wings buffs (250 - 125 WL avalaible in the realms) that can be either from TS or base spirits

Cuz I seriously don't think the ranger TS was simply a randomised pick from the pool, it was most likely due to the community reaction. If that's the case I wish tgc didn't do this just for the loud ones in the Community about the ts so they can properly code the tree

But it has to be because if I put the hat and a hair on and I'm at a standstill, the hair won't clip through but the MOMENT I move my skid, it starts to clip and it makes no sense. I don't think tgc would release a hat that clips through every single hair, minus the bald.(duh)

the hat is designed to hide clipping on some hairs so I'd say restart your game, and try the hat again

well it probably depends on the hat's geometry, the pirate hat (and sunbathers for example) are thin whereas both of the two you mentioned are very puffy. THey do clip it's just not thin enough to clip visibly.

A TGC staff once disclosed that it's impossible to make everything match in all stances and all movements and while they accept reports, cosmetics clippings are treated with low priority.

You can feedback or bug report about it, just keep in mind that based on calculations, Sky has multiple quitillion (quattro trillion multiplied!) cosmetics combinations and it keeps growing - so it's not possible to match everything.

Well about the hat accessory
Newer item - the dev design a function that remove part of your hair so that will not cliping (Light mending hat / Pirate hat...)
Old items doesn't has the same treatment - it easy for the hair to clip throught the hat (Sun bather hat, Ranger hat)
I hope the dev can develop the same function for older item

When the feature to add new shared props to spirits was announced and implemented, we anticipated that lightweight traveling spirits would bring a prop. If I recall correctly, travelers after the announcement did bring new props added to their tree, such as the Earth Prophet, Fire Prophet, Crab Whisperer, Hiking Grouch, and etc. However, it has been a while since we've seen a spirit with a new prop on their tree. Perhaps it's because some are already quite pricey.

I actually don't think the emote level 2 should be in the middle of the tree that's how spirits with regular emotes (4 levels) work, but this one has a friendship emote with only 2 levels and looking at bearhug hermit's tree for instance, the level 2 is also on a higher side node meanwhile the upper central node is a blessing (because it doesn't have as many cosmetics as Ranger I guess)

Spirits have a friendship meter you can grow by unlocking cosmetics and bringing them with you.

Bring a Spirit with you each day. Unlock stuff you want to fill up the meter further and you can reach the season heart without needing everything.

every time you take a spirit along with you, it adds 10 points. Various items are worth different amounts of points (can vary per item)

It’s not the seasonal emotes you seek for reliving a memory, it’s the normal emotes. The icon next to the quest shows you which one (it was shiver today, at least for me). I think this is their solution to us only being able to view the emote collecting animation once, when we earn the emote for the first time. This gives us something else to do daily and also keeps our recollection of emotes fresh.

Thanks to a new friend I made we were finally able to get the wasteland emote, I know it’s probably possible to do it without getting seen by a krill but what ended up happening was one of us would go play go distract with the krill and the other one would swoop in and continue carrying the flame

We're continuing to refine the Season of Gratitude as we move towards global launch, and we'd love your input and ideas. What were your favorite gratitude prompts to respond to? Do you have any fun stories about messages you left or read, or any ideas for prompts of your own?

I have yet to figure out how to read other responses, but I really like the idea! So far tapping on the two icons (one is a candle with arrows) doesn't seem to do anything for me.

In the longer season I felt less incentive to leave a meaningful message when prompts would repeat. So I suggest a larger list of prompts to last the season without repeating. The prompts are also broad and I find them to be strange when they ask a specific question, because reading messages without seeing the prompt (or after forgetting it) the answers are sometimes odd to read without the question as context. So my second suggestion isshow the prompt on screen when reading other players' messages so the context is clear.

If you light the candles at the bell towers in Prairie I think it doesn't count toward the quest. It also doesn't give light from the melted darkness there. But if you melt the darkness directly instead of lighting the candles you get light and it should count for the quest.

Yes, it's the krill! Get seen by it. I think you might also have to be literally facing the direction it is? Not sure. Just get seen and hide before it attacks! (Or don't hide, but then you'll lose your stars, so not ideal)

To add a bit-- @spring heron If you play the beta version, you do keep everything you unlocked after the season's over until the beta is reset someday and everyone starts over again.

@desert jewel It's hard to say when the seasons will be done for sure. Soft launch aka the live version has already had both the seasons, gratitude and winter, so that may factor in to how long the wait is before one or both of them are put back in after the global launch.

And also, you never know--maybe they'll time the release of the winter season at some other time of year so that our friends in the Southern Hemisphere don't feel left out. ; -)

@weak steppe it starts ||in that unlocked spot under the ruins in the stage that starts with a krill attacking one of those white winged creatures, and has one star child in the open in the back right corner. You go into that locked area and some ancient spirit which looks to be laying down disappears and leaves you with that red flame to slowly carry around to different locations. I got to only the second one before being eaten up|| which is why I am wanting to know if it is worth doing.

@still pond the prayer emote is in the Vault of Knowledge, floor 1. But to open that door, you need 4 people who can do telekinesis. To get levitation, you need to go to the vault of knowledge, floor 2. There's a gate there, too.
