Can anyone provide any tips for completing the first season quest? I don't know if it is because I am small but I can't get the trajectory right for the target hanging from the ceiling. Every time I lower the camera, to raise the arc, the camera goes through the scenery and I can't see anything. I even tried standing on things to be higher.

I don't think the clouds uses polygons if anything, they use sort of moving texture shader. What caused the lag are most likely the ball pit and the vfx such as confetti unfortunately

Lots of areas in sky has the clouds, rarely they cause lags due to the simple shaders. I hope tgc can find a way to optimise the season area without removing all the fun details :"3 all the details are what makes this season area unique

There's 4 season candle bundles that give you 1 Season Candle a day, with another 4 gotten from Dailies (So you can get 5 a day), and if you have a Season Pass you get an extra one a day

Yep! There are 4 seasonal candle clusters placed in the daily realm, and those fill up your gauge until you get one full candle. You get another 4 from doing the daily quests, making it 5 candles total for non-pass holders. It’s been set up that way since the start!

I can’t be sure what you’re remembering but it’s never been a full seasonal candle per bunch. You can also take a spirit with you for 20 min a day to skip some things from their tree and save candles that way

It might just feel like a heavier grind lately because of all the other events going on. But the collection of seasonal candle itself hasn't actually change other than the seasonal spirits friendship tree, but it’s definitely easy to feel a bit overwhelmed when there’s a lot going on!

@solemn valley go through the spirit gate on the right side of butterfly fields so you reach birds nest. the floating island against the clouds on the left closest to where you enter has one of two WL in the level. that same island is where the green light will fall after it's done being tossed around by mantas out of reach.

sky switch still suffers from the same fundamental issues: bugs & nintendo's stingy policies

my friend, a switch 2 owner, describes sky on switch 2 as 'it has the same bugs, it just bugs faster'

sky on switch 2 is listed as 'playable', rather than 'fully compatible', which implies some issues.

and, tgc did not express plans to make a switch 2 edition. therefore, no bug fixes & performance optimizations

ultimately, i am a huge advocate for pc. i could go on and on about the utility (for your productivity needs), modularity (customizable and upgradeable) and just the general skill of building a pc (which includes diagnosing issues and making repairs!)

We don't know if Devs will add bottles as another decor item in the future for shared spaces and nests.

This is probably nothing new, but I want to emphasize just how extreme it is.
(I don't dislike the game because of it, but it's a problem when the sky economy seems more broken than the hypixel skyblock economy was during the worst inflation)

In my time getting ts and events, since march 2025, so about 400 days, I could've gotten 8000 candles on 20/day, but even if we want to go to theoretical limits, with getting every single small bit of wax in the entire game and with events giving extra wax boosting the average to an insane 22,5/day that would be 9000 candles. If I go into skyplanner, and just select every item from just ts and events that happened in that time, so 0 spent on constellation, friends, spells, nesting shop etc., I can see that that would've costed an astonishing 13.000 candles to buy. Oh and another 3000 candles worth of hearts but that wouldn't be from my own cr.

That means, with the literal maximum amount of wax possible every single day, which would take like 10 hours, I would still have less than 3/4ths of the candles required to buy just ts and events

Yeah it is unfortunately what happens for a game that's been running for a long time. To be Frank it's not sky economy that's broken, it's not designed for the completionist. You are not required to get everything from TS and events, really. It's just what happens when new stuff gets added to Sky, the total cumulative cost would go up so you only can choose what you truly like or not. Just like real life, do you think you can buy out every single thing in life?

That'd exactly why we have event tickets and seasonal candles, during the ongoing events and seasons, it guarantees new players to get the latest items, rather than keeping them out of the new cosmetics, I do remember struggling with the event cosmetics when there wasn't any event tickets at all

And again, as others have pointed out, you don't have to get absolutely everything

If you count wing light gap it's even more unachievable cause the rng will prevent you from getting the ts you needed.
Just be with it, as you continue to play, the gap won't be wider

Something nice i noticed about the current season trees is that there are no purchasable spells/dyes on tier 4, meaning if you want to skip them you wont really need to go trough 8 (or 10 i forgot) days of spirit following just to get to the next tier

Thought the spells are consistently on the lower tiers, at least you feel more sense of progress that way

Has anyone found a way to stop the bottles you dig up from spawning deep underground? I only got 2 bottles when the event started. Since then, the bottle always spawns underground, making it impossible to collect.

100% agree with the last paragraph

For the do you really want every single item... the gap is 4000 candles, with the daily quest ones (which you would only get after a season for most of the time). For just events and ts. With the maximum possible cr on top, that would be 3000 candles. Which, is still a TON. It's not that you will probably miss some items, it's that you are being mathematically forced to miss 25% of the items if you already spent 0 candles on constellations, nesting props, friends, hearts, etc. to maximize the candles for saving up for that, no matter what you are doing. And, those are not evenly distributed over the year, in reality you would miss a lot more in the beginning and then save up for fall and winter during the summer.

And about the ts, there's two clashing problems. 1. The number of ts is increasing, so they have to be scheduled more tightly to compensante, with currently a ts group of 4-6 spirits roughly every 3 months. There have been 50 different ts (and 4 repeats) in the previously said 400 days, more than ever. 2. Ts groups add roughly 1000 candles worth of ts at once for 2-3 weeks, every 3 months. Meaning you have to save up a lot of candles (since, even for the items you want, often pretty wanted ts are coming) while the regular ts are still coming. And then events are also getting more but that's not part of the ts paradox

Thanks for trying to help! Unfortunately this doesn't work. The reason the shovel disappears is that the bottle has been discovered. Just now I tested digging with my own shovel 5 times after the event one disappeared. It doesn't dig up anything at all, and even the digging animation itself looks different than when you use the temporary shovel provided by the spirit before the bottle is found.

I just tried it again. I dug with the temporary shovel once, and the bottle appeared underground. I then pulled out my prop shovel and, counting, dug 100 times. I uncovered several conch shells and pieces of light, but no bottles. When I honk, I can see that initial bottle is still deep underground.

My only issue with the throwables rn is that if they are too far you cant really see where the target lands, cant tell if thats by design
(Refering to the small circle that shows where the throwable will land)
The further you aim the harder is to see that circle

So far, I have 161 available in the shared space.
The wiki states a limit of 128 which seems incorrect…

It is possible that Devs ment 128 per color and word it in an odd way. Or is 128 in total, for all the colors, and the fact you get more is a bug. We dont know for sure.

for a little bit of info on what I'm planning, they live in the Wind paths and help lost moths navigate the realms and such. Intead of the fireworks staff I imagine they have a shepherd's crook to either make sharp corners around trees or snatch Moths away from krill

You haven’t gotten the seasonal heart at the top of the tree. You don’t have to get it now, but if you want the ultimate gifts you will eventually need to get that, either by taking the spirit on 10(?) days of adventures or by buying that aviator hat

I was planning on buying both the lv3 expression and the hat and hope that it would be enough to reach to the seasonal heart xD

In general, if you plan to buy all the things from a tree you don’t need to take that spirit on adventures. Or, if you just want to skip something on an early level, just go on adventures until you’ve passed to the next level, and then buying the rest will be sufficient.
I do often skip the first or second spell node but buy beyond that because it’s more efficient

The hat would be enough on its own, yeah! Since there's only 1 thing on that level, it guarantees enough friendship to skip to the next.

Did you do a deep honk? A blue star should show you where they are. Also be sure to look up and down. There's a lot of possibilities

My bad, my explanation wasn't that clear. The areas connected to each other without a loading screen are considered as one area by the game, so the first and second floor of Vault probably share the bug.
Since Remembrance is cut off by a loading screen, it's considered a separate area

Yesss iirc, the entire tier gives 10 points so if there are 2 items purchasable, those each give 5 points, but if there's only 1 item, that one straight up gives 10 points. But yes, the entire tier still requires 10 days of adventures, I hope that made sense

They're all the same (except athletic dancer who needs 2 more candles for the dye unless you skip that in which case they are the same too)

But other than the dye being 2 more SC, all spirits have the exact same costs at the exact same levels

Oh, the Nature area. You have to clean all the darkness from the water before it spawns. Splits and merges of servers make that difficult sometimes.
