This is something i discuss constantly and no, these are just outliers, most capes cost 15$. I dont see why the olympics one cost 20$, probably because the ice effect cape was hard to do on the cape or something, but the other capes are the mischief raven cape and the days of love meteor that cost 18$, likely for their special texture, these 3 are the only capes that does nothing and cost more than 15$ sold separately

Maybe Im just out of touch since I don’t play any other games with IAPs but I feel like all but the packs are high. It feels like you either have to be a 20 candles per day kind of player or dole out quite a bit of money for cosmetics. But I also understand it’s all elective, in a free game, and no one needs cosmetics to play. But for how many issues the game has it does feel crazy to be asking so much for purely cosmetic items. For something like the chibi mask, which has an additional feature(s), 20 hearts makes sense and you can take the time to save up for it. But for a hairstyle with no additional features or bundled items, 55 candles (which you have to save up within 10 days) feels crazy, same with a $20 cape with no features or bundled items

With the way the in game economy is changing we MOST definitely need at least more frequent double wax events.

I completely agree. The dye shop came about due to player request. We got event ticket shoes by player request. We got dimmer honking by player request. We got better dye collection by player request. That's just in the past year.

If they just kept items to being priced with tickets instead of candles, players wouldn't be overwhelmed. The currency change is the only thing that baffles me about days of love this year. I wasn't active for previous days of love events and I was expecting to be able to get most of the items until I saw that it was all candles and hearts to buy them, and THAT overwhelmed me more than if they stayed ticket currency

I'm sorry but cn server getting "love" is a complete myth. In order to play cn server you are required to submit your personal information such as ID and phone number in order to have an account (thats the way netease games work in general). And you are constrained by China's gaming laws such as limits on play times etc etc. So of course cn server are being compromised meanwhile us global players have a lot of freedom to play.

And in fact many many cn players actually want to leave cn server and try to play global bc of how terrible things are there, especially extremely TOXIC player environment..
So I don't agree with cn server getting "the love" simply they have different things from what we have in live.

I would for example use the devices to help locate the fragments and for a bout a goose minutes if not longer the locator won’t even make a big enough indication on where the fragments where and the portals are all near the same location

I have a quarter of the lights left to find and I only manage to find two after an hour

It’s almost like the fragments are just spawning it but at a glitchy pace

I would report it though the gear menu in the live game. And you could go back in to another instance. The daily lanterns are meant to be a fun activity for extra wax, so if it isn't fun, I would just stop. But proceed how you wish.

I've been following this guide for counting candle bunches, but I'm pretty sure they mixed up a 15-candle bunch with a 10-candle bunch, cause I always end up finding x3 15-candle bunch and x6 10-candle bunch instead of the x4 and x5 that it lists.

All wax can only be collected once a day.

Question about the whole daily lightmending activity,,, you pick a device, you get the cutscene of one of the spirits putting the orb ball thing in the table, and then you land in a server with other people. The devices that are selected by you and others light up, but you can't change it anymore once you're in that server? Wouldn't it make more sense if you landed in a server with others, you see which devices are already selected and make your selection based off of that? Because for example, now I'm in a server with 3 others and we all chose the first device

Server merges only ever auto completes the lightmending (fragments) portion of it. I don't think it'd complete the quest portion for you. And there is the method to force an unmergeable server. #seasons-events-chat message

I have been using the tournament torch every day since it was released last event, (and although I can use it at Grandmas, I tend to switch to the stone stove just for that, and then back to the torch just after, so only for 2 Grandma sessions a day do I not have it equipped (unless I forget to change))

1. The only thing: that can be purchase (ftp) is from the days of love guide?
2. The event mechanic is using the correct expressions at the crystals to get wax?
3. Afk mechanic is just lying down near the water and collecting the falling stones?
4. There is no collecting of ribbons event tickets (wiki said can collect 15 ribbons - but I see no ribbons on my screen)

They're not doing tickets for Days of Love this year because of a lot of things going on. I'm not sure about #3. #2 you can use any expressions depending on the realm and yeah you can get any items from the Days of Love guide

It is semi-afk really. Once the crystals are solved the big crystal drops magenta chunks. And just swim around to get other wax.

1. All events have their ftp and iap items. The ftp one is from the Love Guide (In that case is Jolly Geologist, but with a crystal on their back), and the box beside guide
2. Yes. You need to use an expression near the stone (more likely assigned realm emote, because you may see that says "...Beneath [REALM_NAME]")
3. I'm not sure you could afk there because the wax (not falling stones) in the lake near the spirits couple is so huge, it spawns widely. Also, you'll not get wax if you're afk for too long (more likely above 10-15 minutes iIrc)
4. No. This year's Days of Love has no ticket items. All were candle prices.
