no worries! They changed how it works this year yes, you're not 'part' of a team, you just choose which of the 2 spirits you want to win each day and help them score points by doing the sports!
You can still favor a team of course, and the capes from back then are now a cosmetic you can actually buy so you can show off your favorite team, but when it comes to the competition itself, you're not 'officially' part of 1 team (:

Yes the light launcher helps if you have the tendency to run out of fuel.

I save wing fuel by soaring around and only flapping occasionally, gaining both height and hunting crystals more fervently than Spyro the Dragon 🐉

it was a glitch you could do before a patch for season of radiance introduced a yet-unresolved bug with using expressions while walking. you may notice that if you start an expression like a and then walk, you immediately stop waving.

I'd suggest you to enter coliseum and observe if there are players gathering in the Coliseum, if there's barely anybody, then switch servers

I've got no issues of merging with other players tbh

Anyway it's better to not take it too seriously, it's mean to be a fun version of event where we root for spirits instead of competing amongst ourselves (last time it was pretty bad with players accussing one another of cheating and such)

Since you get rewarded the same currency regardless which ranking you're in. The only tangible reward from your scoring is just the spirits' ranking

Ngl I'm happy if I get a silver medal. I had a nice convo with a player who clinched silver and told me it was a great game, and learned something new about the crab race. Its better than being upset about only getting silver imo

You push yourself too hard. The max amount we can get is 22 candles a day. But getting that 21st candles takes the same amount of time of the first 15 candles. My advice is just collect 20 candles a day which is around 2 hours if you have a good route. Nowadays I only do 19 candles because the last candles takes 1000 wax to make.

Anything past 18th candle is madness to me or I had better be having fun with friends. Going grey is so rare lately and I am happier for that.

Basegame constellations should be low on the priority list imo. Those are permanent, they'll always be there. TS and events should be priority, but again, don't stress yourself over getting absolutely everything. TS will eventually return, and most event stuff always comes back every year (there are a few exceptions, but you get the idea)

though the jump to the wall from the last checkpoint is so jank, it's either incredible easy or takes 300 tries

I don't bother doing the skip Like I said, I have the route pretty much memorized, so I can do all of it very easily. If anything, it'd be faster than even attempting the skip

Also I'm very pleased that many love this season, I thought it would be dismissed as a """recycling""" but seeing many fanarts of LM Pioneer, it makes me happy!! Like returning the known spirits in a new form is indeed refreshing!

When I attended a dev talk among the troupe members (I'm allowed to share and quote what's been shared), they returned and upgraded the existing spirits is to help players know more about the spirits, and if they keep adding more new spirits, the Sky cast would become so convuloted and difficult to understand and remember. I feel it's a great direction (even a dev quoted that they're not actually lazy, they have concepted on what they could do with the past spirits and revitalise them) :O like I now am obsessed with either versions of Pioneer's aaaaaaaaaa

A good metaphor is the oc / series world building! You'd have the main casts, and over the seasons, the original cast will grow and have character development. This is something like that, the spirits are TGC's ocs, essentially

Yeah!! I really love the switch between the gold to silver for Blue Bird, it gives them a refreshing and unique theme. My favourite was the ult cape, I love their reinterpretation of the "pseudo" ult cape the original belonging grandma had, adding the touches of silver and the "hidden" bird motif

Days of Color only started last week of June because of the AURORA Homecoming event, otherwise those two would've overlapped and we'd have been having the same issue that we're having now

Also bear in mind we have 3 events overlapping rn, that's a lot of time to make for different events, and then A) they wouldn't coincide with their real-world counterparts, which is a bit counterintuitive, and B) they'd be pushing the time limits for some other key events like Bloom, Color, Sunlight, etc.

They're simply filling an empty slot for the whole of January left over from scheduling those 3 events in February

Especially given how culturally important LNY is, so doubtful they'd delay Fortrune further than the 17th Feb as the actual LNY celebration

If you think Personality event pushed the other events. That's not true, look up the dates of the real world events:

Winter Olympics: 6th Feb
Valentine's Day: 14th Feb
LNY: 17th Feb

They're all well within 2 weeks of February alone. So it's bound to overlap

Seasonal hearts (the orange ones) are with the SP (cost 3 Seasonal Candles)
Regular hearts are from the guide and they are free.

When the spirit comes back as a TS, the seasonal heart becomes a regular heart, and you can spend 3 candles for them then

oh but some old season guides still cost 3 candles for hearts
