I think if one can consistently proc it from a sprint, then it'll allow for quickly taking down multiple targets in the time one brings up a snowball, or right after a throw

taking the same momentum boost that you get from jumping sideways after landing (similar to what longjump utilizes), you can get enough speed to knock down targets

it's really weird that the last wave has a lot of spawns facing outside from the arc, though you cannot really throw from that side hahaha

my high score route mainly focuses on the left side for that reason

• due to the ice, you can't make snowballs while moving to the right side

very fair, the left side - especially the back alley - has a lot of concentrated targets that are easy to get, and a fair bit of moving ones that aren't too terrible either

I think bonking targets could be done very effectively climbing up the ramp after the first wave, and on the shooting gallery that spawns 8-10 crabs right before the fork

routing and optimizing this little minigame has been a blast, we've had a lot of fun with it

hoping it returns next feast, or is back in some capacity for other events.

Nor did I in my first year, thus once it happened for the 1st time, I was like huuuuh? It's apparently connected to shards popping when you complete a shard event and all, but otherwise, it's a very weird "timing misfire" mechanics where the game decides when to pop the shards itself. If you ask me, that is.

I had that happen on portal shards too for some reason.

And yes, that's how butterflies got to Eden before Radiance event was even a thought in devs' heads. 😆

the video you see happens in different location, the Aviary Village! It has portals, but also shops and cafe! But first you need to help restoring it for all the shops to open

Aviary Village is the location you spawn in after opening the game, your "home". Previously "home" was on the small island by default, but you can change whichever you prefer. If your home is on the island, search for portal standing behind the realm portals, it should lead you to Aviary Village

it's very noticeable and easy to practice if you're in dark water with a snowboard, I believe you'd definitely have one yourself nyahaha

first step is jumping forwards, then after you land, either go fully sideways, or sideways + front (we play on PC so the input would be either A/D or W+A/D)

if you get enough speed, it will make you start a slide, even in dark water - that should be the amount of speed required in order to bump the targets !

That's actually something devs need to fix because while friend names do appear in Skykid chains, they don't appear on individual ones. Individual ones instead look different from other silhouettes.

Just played the last quest,,,, adding onto the valid feedback others have already shared in here about the Migration quests, I think they also could've been way more interesting and fun if they decided to transform every single realm like they did with the Forest, the flooded version looks SO cool !!

I just finished the migration quests. Best one was when the hippie got lost, and the guide was running faster than the speed of light. Seriously, that was a fun day. But the rest were all pretty much the exact same thing which I felt quite bored by.

The music was really good, loved the bell sounds and the sense of "we're going on an adventure" I just wish the adventure could have been more diverse.

When do we get the next hint for the next season?? I'm curious to know what it is!

Maybe some just don't understand the simple concept of the life cycle and death and rebirth AND the journey itself

For me personally, I feel as though it was a way for us to see a new perspective of the cycle of life and light in the kingdom!
I think the quests themselves have been fairly simple, but it can sometimes be more difficult to gather deeper meanings in these cases, it's also perfectly okay if you haven't felt there was anything deeper! And you're definitely not dumb!

We all engage with the different season stories in many ways, I felt a lot of nostalgia from the journey because it reminded me of my moth days when I first explored the kingdom

The cycle itself is definitely well known in terms of our own journey through eden and orbit and then rebirth too! and throughout the years we've seen instances of creatures being a part of that cycle, and you're definitely right that lore friends have aaaaaaaall the evidence from concepts and such of the cycle too but I agree this season has really given us a full showing of that journey from isle to orbit with the creatures in tow and I think that makes it even more special!

I can definitely understand why people might not enjoy the season, a lot of feedback for season quests that I see is that they're repetitive - it's not specific to this season either, so people might feel that there isn't as much creativity behind quests when we do the same thing in each one. Though I think there can be beauty in simplicity and though we do spend the majority of this season going through the same motions, I think it's just a beautiful mirroring of our own first journey through Sky and I appreciate it so much!

But I believe when people started harvesting light in industrial scale, this view became less spectacular with less creatures. So I think it is very new for the spirits to witness it happen in full again||

considering the mix of responses i've seen to season of migration's finale, i'm thinking that while these stories about the light and its cycle of life certainly have beauty and heart to them, people might be getting bored of the idea of the light as an infallible and benevolent force of nature not to say that there should be a full pivot into depicting the light as something corrupt, but it could absolutely be more interesting as a plot device if we see it and the way it's used as something with potential flaws and the capacity to do harm. the two embers started to dig into that idea a little bit with the kingdom's systematic harvest of light and the damage it caused, and i think that's one of the more thought-provoking uses of the light as a thematic entity to date

in other words, we know the stars can fall, so why not see them stumbling now and then?

The cycle of the light creature's is really interesting to me, since the Lighthorns fell down as butterflies, so that being a confirmed starting form for light creatures is fascinating.

That said, I do agree, I guess it's due to the lack of... Danger? Excitement, the lack of stakes, it's probably by design that The Light is like this but this is why the corruption and Dark Creatures are most player's point of interest.

Seems like the case, after a good bunch of seasons after revival that have the spirit trees always available from the physical npcs, which is more direct from the classic constellation so it's easy to forget that feature ngl I love the constellation feature, instant access from home and having both ways is really neat :D

I do wish we could had 9cd spirits loitering around the area as the instant access and liven up Oasis a little bit, similar to 2E p1

Was there any limit to how many friends you can add or how do you feel about the current constellation?

iirc yeah it was only the crown for favorite friends, other than that it was a similar "unlimited friends, limited showcase."

I am very much happy with the new constellations added, since I can organize my friend groups better with it ((look at that old image and take a guess who's a friend within sky, a friend outside the game, or a moth I adopted on a whim.))

I'm pretty sure the change also brought a bit more space to show friends, I would not be opposed to more friend constellations (there's a lot of items and creatures for constellations after all!)

Also I want to say smth. I do not tolerate anyone justifying using tent exploit or something similar, and using 3rd party application hacks for "saving time for candle runs" or "i dont have time to cr". You do not have to candle run to the max every day, and you should know that Sky is a game and should never be your priority. If you have important life priorities, go do them instead. You can play the game when you have a free time. Even if items are expensive, you don't need those items, you still have other opportunities to style what you like in the game.

The second floor one is relatively easy but if people are already up there they can’t come down to help with first floor door even if they have the emote and feel like helping. So the first floor one is a bit of a lost cause

The raccoon passage takes like 5 to 6 minutes to complete and it gives pretty much 200 wax (4 cakes) if people read the message at the bottom that tells you to make a line
