The best way, that I have found, is to make sure that you tap them when they are in the circle around the fire, I have found that they do not always count when outside of it.

I think also quality of life update that brings to report button a shared space/memory possible even somehow grab sky kid id (special id linked to player/object that isnt their real id but support can work wich that) in my opinion would help both players and support that i guess wont need to check ton of logs to see what happens, would help

the sky id of a spell's owner is conveyed to TGC when a report goes through automatically. that information is not privy to other players because it would be a security risk.

you always have the option to subscribe to a player's creations to keep track of it that way

Simple for example makes two ids: one real for player only to see (example use in webshop) second would be random and cant be linked outside support to first one (this would be helpfull if you just want to idk report a stranger or something

EDIT: Kinda like discord id for user/message its not user auth token and can be used in support/report for easier supporter work about situation in ticket i guess

So..how long does the spirit supposed to keep you company? I thought at first it's only 30 mins? But it feels like the duration is getting longer and longer

Today the spirit accompanied me for 75ish minutes. And there's no notification about the time is up.
When I check the spirit's tree(?), there's notification on the accompany button and I can let the spirit go. Am I getting a bug?

it should be only thirty minutes. it's most likely you missed the notification as mine has been accurate on the 30 minute timer idk about the others

Ye ikr.. im not complaining about the spirit accompany me. This feature have been fun but im the type of player that only online for dailies and tickets.
My play times are mostly 30 minutes max🤣so these bug kinda forced me to cr for longer time🤣🤣🤣

I heard there's a bug that make the feature do nothing. Does not add anymore progress to the spirit tree

Yeah that bug should be fixed by now, but I'd recommend always reporting bugs, especially about the new friendship system since it's a new feature and everyone's still figuring stuff out.
Progress on the friendship meter with adventures gives you 10 points each day you hang out with them, but every tier needs more points to reach, so each tier will take longer to reach. That's why it might look like it's affecting the friendship bar less now, you're probably on tier 2 or 3

It is 30 mins, but if you pass a cutscene just as the notification pops up, then it'll be overriden and then only way you'll be able to see is to interact with the spirit. As for it not leveling up, in case it doesn't, then I suggest to re-check the spirit again either on location or via Const. Table.

The cutscene overrides the notif actually explained a lot.
But do you have any idea why the heart(+) thingy doesnt show up too?
The heart(+) thingy that follow you around and show up when it time for the spirit to go

From what I saw, it's connected to the notif as well.

Like, it shows up together with the notification, thus if one is overriden, so is the other.

No idea if it overrides a different spirit-stance or expressions tho, since when they wish to go, then they'll stretch themselves or wipe sweat off their brow while having the laidback-stance instead of plain one.

It is weird. since the bug the other week where friendship was not increasing, what I have been getting for friendship points seems to be half of what it should be. I just thought it was where I was high up in the friendship tiers but I have just taken Bird Whisperer out for the day and when I collect the level has gone from 1/2 to 3/4 to the first star, that should have been a full 10 and completed that tier. My daughters have unlocked more than I have and they have also been playing since the start of the season.

I don't mind the motd being removed, most of the time it is a repeated message that I have seen many times before. The countdowns are in many places, billboard, seasonal and event guides, etc. So that is not a problem. Let's see what happens.

i wonder if the MotD being removed is due to the game having to connect to the servers twice to load in? once to load the message of the day, and the second time to actually load your account. i'd wager that makes sense since the start screen is where you can choose to log in a different way, not necessarily on your usual account (like sharing a device with siblings)

Maybe just because that was my first introduction to the timed events in sky as a newbie. From what I was told, it was a side-widget, kind of like the cog in upper-right corner, that opened up to what essentially amounted to a parody-version of a weather report of all individual realms except for Isle of Dawn and Eden ... and whenever a shard would be incoming, its usually-plain weather-widget would transform from a usual weather symbol like a ☀️ into a and warn about "possibilities of red hot crystals raining from the sky".

It's essentially sky-shards website, but baked into the game itself.

You’d need to grind 21 wax every day for the whole event to make it, not everyone can do that. That’s almost a full Old Home cr per day

I think that’s actually removed with the next update (didn’t show in the video about the update)
If you can buy it before the update, you’d only need 2 candles or 14 wax per day. That’s a whole 140% of prairie social cr
