Hi guys :] any tips on how i can progress the spirit trees faster? Ive been completing season spirit trees very easily but i will admit this new friendship system has gotten me quite confused

I should specify that I am taking the spirits on an adventure with me each cr but it still feels quite slow

#news message this should help a bit, btw you need to spend 30 mins with each spirits to earn more friendship on this day

The friendship system lets you take one of the spirits on an adventure with you for 30 minutes daily!

Once the adventure is over you can wave the spirit off, and the progression tree will advance a bit after the visit is over!

You can use the friendship system to unlock the trees without spending candles!

Thing is, the number of visits the spirits need to do will increase for each tier of the friendship tree.

That’s why I’ve found it sufficient to actually have the spirit I want the items from the least coming along with me, cause then I don’t gotta spend candles on them to unlock each tier.

Ohh, I mean, there are ways to speed towards that seasonal heart, but I do not know of any methods to unlocking it quicker. I prefer to get all the seasonal items so I’m taking my time.

There are some easier tiers that only sell one or two items. Those would be easier to bypass theoretically considering less purchases.

But really just go for buying the cheaper candle items and then make sure to take your spirit with you daily. You should be able to save candles and unlock the hearts that way.

I would really recommend taking your time and unlocking all of the items though. You’d be getting the most out of your season pass.

hmm, i would recommend skipping the early nodes with spells/dyes and instead level up their friendship by hanging out, while its better to buy the last item in their tree to instantly get to the seasonal heart, as the last level of friendship takes a while to get by hanging out

Any item that is not season pass exclusive should add progress for that spirit. Buying all items of a tier should give enough progress to unlock the next tier without needing to spend any time with that spirit.

If you bought the sheet and did not see any progress, try to restart your game. If the progress is still missing, I would recommend to #report-a-live-bug or contact support.

Cauldron and Puzzle Cave are apparently connected, with cauldron giving you 500 total while Puzzle Cave has 1000 total (500 if you took all wax from the cauldron first).

seeing many chatters about people begging tgc to upload two embers on YouTube as if it should be a default platform just because it's free....? Like YouTube isn't a perfect despite many indie animations are uploaded there.
In fact, the indie animation studio actually had to rely on fundraising, merchandising and even kickstarter just to be able to produce full length animation on the platform. Because even with monetisation, it won't guarantee that the revenue from YT would cover everything that goes into animation.

The Two Embers is a 3D feature animation; took multiple years to produce. Can imagine how much money they've invested into the project. Would've gone to dozens of millions of dollars. YouTube platform, unlike many streaming platforms (which TGC was rejected by), is very finicky when it comes to finances (not to mention many questionable requirements, like forcing ads in middle of videos as of late).
