Yes but you can do this by buying everything

I always go to the cafe to unlock the quests, then go to the constellation stone to give out gifts, then I select my spirit buddy and go on my way to complete the quests. Just having them hang out with you while collecting maximum wax on the cauldron or puzzle room seems to be enough time to get your 30 minutes in.

Hey I have a question, soooo I am on the opening cutscene quest for Mischief Herald and I did (and least I think I did) all 4 of the people and yet I can't get past the first node on the Heralds cosmetics tree??? I'm very confused

The stone changes depending on your login point, if you defined the nest or the old house, the stone will always be in random places, but if the village (I don't know if that's the name) is your home the stone will always be there above the entrance of the music workshop. If this is a bug I don't know but it's been a while since this happens regardless of the device used.

So I'm designing the puzzle and I thought it would be interesting to have a pressure pad as sort of hoop. You need to throw the toy from certain point and make it hit the pad on the wall to open the chest.

Also I noticed very annoying thing of pad being pressed by any other object overlapping with it. I tried to hide one pressure pad in the chest and it was automatically pressed because of the chest's hitbox. It limits possibilities

I've now completed two of the missions where one of the Migration Spirits wanted to show me something. Neither of them really worked properly. They start out fine, but then I am released from the cut scene while more things are happening. I don't know what to do so I just stand still. Then eventually the mission ends. I’m too afraid of the next events where prev. year items will be converted into candles. And my candle bank is simply dead. So I made this large amount of stats and stuffs just to be able to predict the candle price from ticket price…

Oehh yeah I made a video kind of about this topic, but more about the prices of Traveling Spirits! Made some stats as well, the average cost of a traveling spirit was around 111 candles in 2020 and this year it's already more than 150 candles💀

I believe TGC wants to make the game last on long-run regardless on when you started the game
But it's still slowly increasing struggle the later you join, because new items keep coming, it get harder to get stuff mostly because of increasing ratio between options and how much you can afford

yeah especially when it comes to traveling spirits, it's impossible for TGC to keep things running like this forever because in a few years, it might take 5+ years just for a spirit to return which is ridiculous

tbh I recently got another idea for how the game could keep up the pace with the increasing pool of items
Aside from obviously giving people more candles to make per day/week I imagined the clothes store could have a new corner with selection of items from certains seasons, f.e. hats and masks from one Season, next week the outfits from another season and so on.
So aside from spirits, you may have a chance to aquire some items from certain seasons.
Edit: You'd still have to wait for TS to get their emotes, music sheets or to simply ascend them, so these two wouldn't be in conflict of interest.

Would be nice if spirits like Sassy (somehow because whenever there's a new platform, it's guaranteed to be Sassy ) would be a semi permanent ts, bc that would rotate between the 4 of the oldest seasons (Gratitude - Rhythm) somewhere in Aviary. Then that could take out those seasons from TS pool

Bc those are like pioneer seasons so the items would be relatively most basic looking so those could be something moths could get

just, don't wish for fire prophet to be in that rotation bc aaaagh too many same-y looks and pls don't make it worse

I will say though, it can definitely be hard to catch up for moths if they literally want basically everything in game. I would honestly give an advise for players to treat everything as optional - not the most haves. Make a list of your most wanted cosmetics (outside of current seasons and ticket items), and stick with them. And learning to letting it go is also important.

Patience is a virtue in all cases

And whatever you have already, treasure them. Doesn't matter if they're ult, iap or whatnot.

Literally have a fondness towards the Jellyfish cape from Shattering, it was my first seasonal cape

Back in 2023, it was just 1 year into playing sky. There was the duck spirit (respectful pianist) in a group. I was literally aiming for the piano only so I had to skip out on the duck mask. And see, I didn't regret missing them, because the rhythm piano was one of my first instruments. (It was also in my most wanted item list. Echoing to my advise above)

And now this year, the spirit's coming back. I will have another opportunity to get the duck mask. It's not that hard to let it go and wait for their return ^^

One final word I would say about this is that;
There will always be solutions that you can rely on whenever you struggle with catching up. Remember, play it in YOUR own pace.

I did read this, and I must say: Maybe I'm just bugged or maybe I'm doing something wrong, but friendship will not progress for any of the seasonal spirits beyond the first day I take them somewhere. I've tried one spirit every day for a week, and then each spirit one after the other, and the only time the friendship thing ever progressed (aside from buying things) was the very first time I invited them.

You need to check the constellation in your home, it's a visual bug where you don't see it progressing when you dismiss a spirit somewhere else. After doing so, you check the constellation in your home/aviary and it would progress as it should be in my experience

i didnt want to post this in the general chat and it didnt seem to fit in any of the others! but here is one years worth of data for total candle count! I find it fascinating that you can tell when I stopped needing to but event cosmetics ontop of / as well as TS cosmetics! (Please note the large jumps in candles are only due to compensation, seasonal candle conversion, or surveys. I have not purchased any candles)

It won't affect other spirit visits because they are spread out two weeks in advance. If the worst thing happens, and Respect doesn't show up until the final day, the most they'll extend is 3 more days.

So even if we have to have an extra few days, it's spread out between ts visits, so it won't affect anyone else

I think any reset time has its upsides and downsides to be fair I have played games in the past where their server reset is 3pm for me as well. And that was nice, but also it meant I had to finish my previous stuff before then and then start my new tasks after the reset.
