Yep, extra pieces are bought through the furniture menu while decorating.
All the individual pieces cost 41 candles in total.

You can while you have youw own shared space in the Event area open. Just keep in mind that the size of that shared space is limited, so bigger shared spaces or the nest can make the buying easier.

You can have up to 8 copies of each of the sand castle's props.

I am not sure whether the option to buy extra copies of those items will be open after the event ends or not.
But if Devs allow it...you will certainly need at least 1 of each type of sand castle prop you want to use before event ends.

Devs mentioned that some Fortune Event props would be added to the Stone Furniture Rotation in the Furniture workshop...and still nothing.

if you’re talking about the fortune coin tree and the banners, they were available to buy copies of after the event was over so i’d assume the same for the sand castle items, but yeah ofc you have to have the item itself first

Yes. I preferred to mention the Fortune items case because we already needed to have at least 1 copy prior to the event's last moments, and yet have not been added as Devs said they would, for whatever reason.
Besides... best to be careful and mention when information is not certain, or not clear.

way before anyone had gotten the cape without buying a ton of candle packs, i got all the way up that mountain with just my willpower and a few well-known glitches. the "castle" of eden is actually a flat image that is invisible from behind LOL

I went there by impulse when I decided to take a new friend who didn't have the cape and thought "what the hey let's go and bring my friend!" Had no knowledge of glitches, just looked for clip through spots.

It does look almost like a surreal landscape or a Playstation 1 render of sorts. Very strange looking at it!

I did this too, at the very beginning of the season me and my friends used so many methods to get up there, like using the Krill Cat to propell us across large gaps, the anti gravity spell to glide further without a cape, piggyback rocket to fly up the mountain, finding out the castle was just a flat png was hilarious, then we all just slid back downwards like a sled race

Yes! They did a major upgrade to dye collection. Single tap collects the dyes eventually, may take a few milliseconds on your passenger's end but they will collect it.

you may need to go to the cinema and interact with the Vault elders lantern to do the quest. I believe it's one that still requires teleporting you from the season guide to the applicable area

once you do that, look for the vault elder down the corridor closer to the elevator. the season guide should place you on the first level of the Vault

I used it to get to the spa yesterday for the bonus spell but while the spell was active I noticed no difference to the recharge rate, in fact it didn't seem to work.

to go back to the past, you interact with the lantern you put in vault in the last quest

Days of Fortune tends to be full animal masks, so I doubt that. We definitely need more variety of tails (canine, feline, Squirrel, etc.) but some years, like Year of the Dog, are multiple years away. But the Moomin tail works for a variety of rodents.
As for lop bunny ears, the Cinnamoroll ears are probably the closest we have atm.

Sky has set the precedent for returning seasonal Collabs via "Encores" for Aurora and TLP, so I'm guessing Moomin will eventually get one.

There is unreleased cape in the sky lofi collab with Glitch.
