I honest to Megabird think that the 4 seasonal spirits are literal spirits of the past, residing inside the Lantern in a sort of a "mausoleum of hope"-like state and thus having their memories bound to it, thus in order to ascend them, one needs to see their quests before being able to relive them and even then it´s not necessary them that got ascended as well.

Can absolutely imagine that they appear as they do when we call them through the Constellation Table because that´s how they remember themselves as, not because of that being their actual spiritual state.

Bet their actual spiritual state is just a , without actual tangible form if it´s not brought forward by Memory Lantern particles like from a Wave Projector; they remember who they are, but can´t manifest as themselves unlike any other spirit we see in the game. 😔

interacting with the playback shrine will teleport you to a unique instance of the cinema where the respective chapter is playing. by being able to see the progress before going, you can determine if you do or don't have to wait to catch the start of a showing

!er - eden isn't about collecting spirits, it's about imparting your accumulated winged light to the child-shaped statues past the point of no return. each statue you give light to earns you 1/4 of an ascended candle. there are 63 statues in all, meaning the most you can get per week from eden is 15 3/4 ascended candles (see skybot's message below for more info about reset)

did you manage to give light to any statues, or were you focused on surviving the rock rain?

Also one more thing to add. The overall layout of the ultimate cape like the starry outer "scarf" parts also look like the Vault Elder's garment as seen in the cutscene.

So you can interpret it like a priest robe + Vault Elder wearing a head scarf (hijab) so, as mentioned, more than one culture. Or even interpret the headwear like a nun's headwrap (not sure what they're called).

Sky is very multucultural 🌍

Also noticed every realm has an overall theme to spirits. While GW has warriors, scouts and such, Vault has scholars, wise men, priests (Praying Acolyte) so these are extra cool details to note!

I did some reading and it seems like purple can also be associated with funerals, interestingly. This is all very good info, thank you again! I was starting to feel weird about wearing it around while not feeling like I understood it.

Aaaw that's understandable! And yes some cultures do associate purple with death.

If I remember correctly Rayman's body was changed to blue in Japan for said reason. Also Ghost Pokemon are frequently purple (which would make sense)

Purple is also considered royal because it's a super tough pigment to acquire.

My brother´s job as a guard is very isolationist and lonely, most of the time being spent behind screens to secure the place and having no communication with others whatsoever except in dire situations, which sadly results in him being very withdrawn, reactionary and generally a very unpleasant person to be around even if he´s my brother in the first place.

My job, though, is about creating for others. Assembling things to be sold further in the world and my workplace, even if small, is incredibly connected. I laugh, I chat, I enjoy gifting with my coworkers as well as my bosses (I have 4 bosses total and while job conditions demand them to be stern at times they´re still very good people at heart ) and overall even if it´s not the job I envisioned myself having I´m still incredibly happy for it.

Especially when Orphan´s manatee is essentially killed, that one is bound to open a lot of old scars.

Thus ascending them essentially means that we managed to get their star to remember who they are and thus reawaken them, even if it means that memories of Quests never involved us Skykids in the first place, but rather the Orphan. Still, a start´s a start and maybe after the season they, together with other 3, might decide in time to visit us in our own time and space.

Saving Caring Companion in Shepherd´s quest and being able to stand firm in bravery with everyone else no matter what in Sentry´s quest.

I also wouldn´t be surprised if Quest 4 might also be Sentry´s wishful thinking of having the Orphan´s trust too because of how we can see their worry for them in Chapter 4, not even budging when their medal was hit repeatedly.

You are capeless in quests, na matter what cape.

You get free roam after quest 5 where you can enter with ultimate cape through the lantern in vault.

You can also start quest 1 or 2 and then used return shrine to have the cape (personally tested right after update, day before the quest 5 was available.

There is no quest 6.

I know about some accounts which do have them by a bug. The owners downloaded Sky from official source, and been featuring it with good will because the game offered it without any glitches whatsoever - when they figured out it's an exploit (most of the times, at least) they became so concerned they never used it again. They even contacted support but support couldn't provide a definite answer to them.
A report won't hurt the account if support finds nothing against them, I just thought it might be useful to share

Popular theory is that the first one is just "astral prijection" before we accept her request because she looks just like skids do in shared memories (not exactly ghostly as spirits do but with this silvery glow skids do when you look at them in shared memory).

Elders come from same source as skids do. Hence they cant really "die".

We gave elders their light back when we first met them in the void which allowed them to go to Orbit and as we see, walk around the kingdom, or atleast in their own realms, as well.

Also I had chance to experience the projector today (stranger shared in starlight desert) and it it so worth, the screen is brighter and sharper and you can see lot of details you missed when watching it in cinema, like the battlefield tower collapsing in the background, the same fallen down tower you can find in game and so many more people everywhere

and the creator commentary has ton of new lore too
