Since the quest 1 reward is technically available the entire season I set the begin and end date to match the entire season.
Otherwise the calculator would say people that start later can not get those candles anymore.
The 4 candles it mentions is the total amount you can get between the begin and end date. It doesn't say those candles can be claimed every day. Hope that clears up the confusion

Found that if you do fast medium honks rather than deep honks it works much better than deep honks and you are not flashbanging everyone around you (i always test if the plant reacts to regual burning before honking)

I rationalised like, the light blue stands out too much because it's fighting the predominantly darker, more saturated red colour scheme, when with the red it has a very solid black/white/red situation going on, then with a much smaller ratio of light blue (tips of feathers on headphones + changed the braid hairties to be that as a more faint fade-in to the white) and the gold accents

it's very much like...what combination would produce a more pleasant colouration combo

I'm in the unpopular opinion camp of that the dye station lighting is fine, because it encourages people to commit and go try things out
dyes are infinite, just go collect more and dye stuff to learn what they look like in regular gameplay. You won't know til you try

the colors did get accurate though, the dusty greenish + greyish-reddish-something, so it's a very valid change
but i was not able to recreate the og colors in any way, although it looks recreate-able
ended up with a more pale peachy-pinkish shade which is honestly fine by me
