Singling out few hairstyles just because they're heavily associated with the "who shall not be named" would actually discourage players from finding their favourite hairstyles in their own styles. I remembered wanting the owl hair and being told it's the "thing" made me feel hesitant of ever wanting it. I'm someone who likes owls so much and the hairstyle is very familiar to me. Etc. I don't want to label hairstyles just bc of certain people and I'd better encourage players to find their favourite hairstyle to combo with, especially those who want to express themselves uniquely

That's a great feedback material, but unfortunately the wax orbs can be collected in a smaller radius (and because of the afk players I'm not sure if it will be changed) and it's already inconvenient trying to reach those buns which have fallen under the table if no one activated a shared memory. I was looking through the past years Nature cosmetics, and going by the patch notes not everything is returning this year.
Just a few examples the turtle cape, ocean mask and nature school cape are not mentioned in the patch notes. I guess that will save me money, but I would have liked the option
