I discovered another thing that might be unintended.
When you use Quick Unlock, for unlocking or locking, it only edits "Spent Currencies" and not your current currency. So if you Quick Unlock an item then go to its page and lock it from there, you get extra candles because for the first action (quick unlock) no candles were used and then in the page where you locked it, you got your candles back that didn't even get taken away in the first place.

For example, starting my inventory with 300 candles, if you Quick Unlock TLP swordsuit your inventory stays as it is (first picture). Then you go to TLP page, and lock TLP swordsuit again from the season guide tree, your inventory gains 200 candles.

Depend of the time you want to spend too. Forest is usually runed for wax by almost everyone since grandma is here, so you can farm dye alongside wax. Prairie have 2 area with a lot of big plants: Sanctuary Island where you go for wax too thanks to geyser and turtle. Prairie Peaks have the highest chance for white dye (~15% compared to ~5% for everywhere else) but is far from usual cr route unless you're a hardcore grey runner...
