@torn blaze I hope you don't mind a ping but I've scienced the emote while being hand held bug.
So my finding was that:

Not all emotes are affected, only the looping type emotes can still work even when you're being led / hand held by another player.

Looping emotes can include: Reading book, Cure for Me dance, Spinning Mentor, Slouching Soldier and so on.

However there's a strange thing: all emotes can work ONLY when your leading friend is doing a looping emote. For example they're reading a book, I can emote blowkiss as normally while still holding their hand.

I think any colored dark plant more or less near water is somehow not burnable by using the regular candles. Unfortunately only deep calling seem to work for those cases.

We can't really answer that, yk? It's like the change of illumination on Sanctuary islands and the Coliseum, the underwater light during turtle event being fixed and more.
I personally think it's a bug. If it was an intended thing, I don't see how limiting / removing items "benefits/ improves" the gameplay experience when most of the players enjoy doing these creations

It has a chance to dig out rocks, seashells, or crabs. With rocks being most common and seashells/crabs being rarer to find. However, they don't benefit you in any way so it is just an item to have fun!
