I enjoyed Duets a lot and honestly I'm happy to see another music focused season again. Really enjoyed the story between the two spirits, especially how overhyped the Performance and Aurora seasons were so it felt like a breath of fresh air to have a story involving just two spirits in a deeper emotional level

Also the grand piano is so nice too

The void really does bring out the story between the spirits, like it's the clearest display of story ever rather than a regular spirit relive

Also I think the player concert feature that'll be released in live in near future is just perfect, like we can listen a wide variety of songs rather than preset ones in like AURORA

The Performance theatre is nice but it's severely underused. So I think the player concert is something we all need, bc we've seen many sky musicians out there in socials and I'd love to enjoy them in game

Kinda sad that 9cd season is like not as popular as I thought lol but maybe its difficult to understand foreign folk legend lol

It's near oasis so not quite sand swept. The gobi desert is different from say sahara, the sandstorms aren't too common due to the high elevation

Are we talking about the same jump? Afaik you can't go all the way up in one jump. You jump from the checkpoint stone up to a barely-there ledge (with a well-timed medium honk to actually get that high) and then you have to get up from there

Speaking of side areas, i really feel like this season treat them well. I enjoyed how we could end in hanging out withs friends in Peaks because of dye run, like those area aren't as isolated anymore. Sure you can do a dye run during you're candle run, but after trying to do cr and dr separately i feel like I'm handling both better. Like before dye release in forest, i was able to do all forest cr except underground cavern (so from lobby to end of the temple) in the 20 minutes between geyser and grandma... With the split messing with our ability of burning plants - and because of people who just can't accept to use emote to don't mess with other's run - most of the time i often join grandma's table with 3 or 2 minutes left, without doing temple front area and temple itself. And focusing dye over wax or wax over dye seems to lower those split problems? Idk, i feel like run optimization really change with this season and need to be carefully thought after some experiments, including or not side area and their often huge dye spots

im also happy about the seasonal areas, esp the bird nest, because i used to skip it for its little amount of candles. now i spend there a longer time and its a really nice piece of prairie. and yeah the runs will need some optimization, im thinking that maybe ill split it on dailies realm cr and 1-2 realms for dye on one day and just pure cr on next . or maybe farming dyes only when ill want to dye something and not trying to incorporate dye runs into daily sky rutine. we will see

Yeah no I need to know how you guys balance it because today I took 3 hours trying to max today's purple blue and black dye then after tried to do more candle running by going to forest while also getting dye, have had to take several breaks while dye running and candle running and I like started almost 5 hours ago

Personally i incorporate dye run into my cr to an extend (forest run before granny, etc) and i only do proper dye runs if i actually am in need of a certain kind of dye (usually on my capeless) or if i just feel like doing something after all my other daily things are done

additionally, i take a LOOOT of breaks inbetween runs i cant focus on sky too much at a time unless i uber people (which is another thing that helps me a lot) so i always space it out and occassionally draw while i wait for certain things eg hermit valley, and sometimes during cr i just have qnh open so i can do something parallel to sky runs so it doesnt get too monotonous

I optimized my cr so I can get to gray in a little over an hour. If I have spare time to play that day, that’s when I farm for dyes. It’s really just what you prioritize. I like my candles more than dyes hehe

Also yeah I do dye run while candle running it's just I don't candle run wasteland so this is something I have to get used to and I really need the dyes there for something and I also usually have a youtube video playing while I run. Since it's the first day, i think we all do a lot of searching spots everywhere we can, but since i NEED purple so much for my outfits i did take every butterdyes i saw outside those in krills' view... It take a lot of time and we check places we won't once we'll know it's useless
Outside from that, my usual cr route (for 20 candles/day) do not include either prairie (outside sanctuary island) or wasteland, so i'm able to remove some areas i usually do in my cr: isle of dawn for example. As i said, i had the habit to do all forest at once, but now unless they're cake or shard i don't do temple front and temple itself now (~10 minutes for it) and instead go to underground cavern for dye and the smoll amount of wax it has
To resume, it's all about balancing what you did for cr before the season and what you had because of dye run
