The clams are on the water surface, then you swim inside the trench, you should see a big clam when the darkness on the turtle's back is cleared, pretty simple, right?

They are kind of difficult to see when it's sunset. Normally i swim around until the pick up icon appears. A trick i heard is wear the feast goggles and turn on the filter.

Moving the camera angle helps to lighten the area and makes it easier to see the clams too
