I think one of the reasons cost is so much might just be servers required. There's probably thousands of players, and each server section only takes 8 at a time. That's a lot of smaller sections just to stick to the 8 players per section (even with frequent merges of inactive/lesser active ones)

The only “limited” cello is the season one, which will return in the future. After completing the 4th quest you can buy a reskin of the cello for 200 candles, and it will stay after the season ends
