And more, kinda, since the story of classic Thief games is about as uncommon as any of you imagine. 🤭

These are pretty much the starters of the first-person stealth games and while yes, one of the goals is to collect as much loot as possible, there´s also an overarching story involving fighting against corruption and literal world-domination by extremist parties, one of which are nature-oriented Pagans.

There is literally a mission where you have to discover the cause of an eradication of a Pagan village and then follow a trail of blood deep into the forest to find more clues.

Playing this series myself, I can assure you all that it´s less about thieving and more about piecing the clues together to ultimately stop nasty events from unfolding. And yes, while thieving is involved, it´s mainly a side-thing, as loot you gather is converted into in-game currency that allows you to get more gear for the next mission.

And you all know what´s really cool? In Thief: Gold, your final mission is to literally stop a world-domination attempt by robbing a god that has robbed you of more than just items. 😆

At least from what I´ve understood, this series of stealth games would be a perfect entryway to introduce proper sneaking and to pretty much allow some pretty potentially-awesome cosmetics to come in like various armor pieces and hoods. (!)

But hey, one can dream. 🤭

Not to mention that houses and mansions aren´t only places that show up as missions; there´s also a massive underground graveyard, literal haunted buildings, a museum and literally a whole another realm where all 4 elements are bound together that would make the Trials borderline jealous.

I like to imagine that the central hub for this Thief-based collab is a new area inside the Cave of Prophecies that opens up once you complete all 4 Trials and inside there you´ll find a deity-based spirit that sends you on missions that can happen in either Golden Wasteland or even Eden.

Where your task is to collect stuff without being spotted by Krills and potentially mission-specific stuff as well like the Turrets we see in concept art ... and the spirit guards we can see as ocassional antagonists in Remembrance memories. :D

(with "stuff", I mean very specific stuff and yes, I´m totally imagining one of them is a shard of Eden Diamond that is the base for the Void of Shattering. Aka a literal sentient gemstone. 🤭)

Which does make me recall that if you do get caught in Thief Deadly Shadows, you actually need to escape from the jail itself and recover your stuff. 🤭

I'm thinking that maybe honks can either:
A) be instant retry cause you just put attention on your hiding spot
B) distractions depending on the call

I´d say B, but if you honk when a Krill or Turret is nearby, then it´s a restart Trial-style.

Also, Krills would be like that one 9-Colored Deer Krill that attacks you near-instantly, kind of like the freakish ones from Twin Embers trailer while Turrets would be like classic Krills.

The final mission, of course, being just after Shattering where you have to stabilize the Diamond, so that it doesn´t cover all of the Kingdom in darkness.

AKA literally creating Storm Lock. ;3

Kind of like how in Thief Gold, Keepers had to use elemental wards to contain a whole-yikes cataclysm that destroyed an entire quarter of the city due to a misuse of an extremely powerful (and sentient!) gemstone that caused it.

All according to TGC-lore, of course. :)

I think the issue with Hiking Grouch is the vertical distance between the 'steps' up the mountain, it's really easy to drop the light and have to start the quest over unless you have someone helping you

Multiple times I'll be reliving a spirit for the Daily, and I'll call frequently in case another player needs the spirit and wants to join in, but nobody else is even visible in the map.

probably other activities too, like assembly quests and such

Being more than 3 can sometimes be more of a pain than anything else, so no that is totally fine

When it comes to leading spirits, I honestly don't mind leading them alone. (Going solo means I can work out a few small shortcuts without the struggle of explaining my idea to others) Having one other player is optimal, so one can lead the spirit and the other can sit on the next ledge and catch the spirit mid-jump.
But when there's 5 skykids all tangled around one spirit, and all of them have different Opinions on which path to take it, it's just a mess
I remember seeing a group fight over that one spirit in Wasteland, by the crab fields. They were standing on the boat with it, but they spent a solid 15 seconds pulling in different directions. I can still remember the spam-honks of frustration

That's why when I carry my friend on shoulders and we meet several guys who already carrying it, I stay away and follow from afar to not catch server split

So we touch spirit 1 time and then just looking after those silly skids

Go to settings! There's a storage option to save the changes you've made in the planner

Once you have everything checked/done, choose "export data", it will download a file containing all the info and have it saved on your device, it would be a matter of loading it in (by importing)
