Can someone explain how the shard times? Aren’t they just there the whole day?

On shard days, there are three eden eruptions and after each eruption the shard stays for about 4 hours and then leaves until the next eruption. So they aren't available the whole day, unfortunately.

I just went to the area through the wind tunnel in crescent oasis. I had the crescent cape on but didn’t see the deer. Is that the right place?

Yes, however going through the Cloud Tunnel to the Hidden Glade in Crescent Oasis will not let you see the Deer even if you have the cape, you have to ACTUALLY use the cape's function to be able to see the Deer in the Hidden Glade

you get 30 seasonal candles when buying the pass + can claim 1 "free" candle from the return shrine every day until the season ends and the seasonal pendant(automatically) & can buy ultimate gifts using candles (exclusive cosmetics that dont return)

the season is ending in 7 days so i wouldnt suggest buying the pass this late unless you really want something thats pass-locked

players without the pass can get 4 candles from dailies + 1 candle from a realm, so thats 5 every day and it usually takes 5-15 minutes to get them

Without the season candles it would be 19 days of 15 candles. Still doable, but the less consecutive days the better

Not gonna lie... Not all that happy with PS losing its exclusive pack... I could understand it going to PC, since Journey is on Steam, afaik, but it should NOT be available on Switch. The game was never available on Switch.

My opinion, the Nintendo pack should also lose its exclusivity, as well. And so should the Companion Cube.

In my honest opinion, Journey pack shouldn't have been exclusive to PlayStation at all. Like I said, Journey is a TGC game, it doesn't make sense for another TGC game to feature such a pack but only on one platform. Let's not forget Journey is also on iOS

Then like I said, they need to make one that is. Journey was exclusive because Sony funded the game, for it to be a PS exclusive at the time of release. It being exclusive to the PS version actually does make sense because of that.

It's unrealistic to expect that to happen cuz like I said, making the Switch pack no longer exclusive to Switch wouldn't sit well with Nintendo knowing how strict they are with their IPs, and Idk so much about Valve but I imagine the same thing applies. on the topic of consoles feeling neglected, I do believe very unfortunately the long time between updates is a part of the update process for them. seems like it can take weeks or even more than a month to get an update out and tested with the console manufacturer's policies.
days of mischief last year had an awkward moment where the purchases weren't available on console and to make up for it they put them in aviary for a couple weeks after the next update could come in.

It unfortunately wouldn't surprise me if the purchase with the aurora encore ran into an issue with sony for some reason, and they only barely managed to get the update out before the season ended and so did the actual agreement for sales of the collab item, whatever it was

Tbf though, Sky gets way more updates per year than any other game I've seen and is the only game I've seen where updates roll out on all platforms at the same time (minus some hotfixes)

they seem like they're usually able to schedule pretty well for most events, but unfortunately game bugs and things usually have other plans
typically why a lot of games will have a "known issues" kind of tab, because they already know and may even have a fix for the issue - but the update is already scheduled and ready to go

if they didn't schedule em and just updated platforms like mobile and PC instantly to fix all issues it would also feel pretty unfair
