True, that is an option. But for me it's not really feasible to do while Granny is serving because you have to wait for the server to split after going home and then use the return shrine. Then you're in a server by yourself for a little until you merge with other people that are also most likely afk.

missed my point lol. for sure that makes sense and should be accurate like that in game, yes. but also the water is supposed to drain at geyser so that you can actually collect the light as well. so when the water doesnt drain but also yes ofc you cant turn on your candle cause water is wet, the player gets screwed for it. even though it was nothing on the players end who did anything nor can the players control it. so thats just a sucky experience

Some people would rather not be bothered by anyone trying to light them/interact with them when they're trying to do Geyser/Grandma. I agree it sucks that they aren't helping, especially if nobody but you is helping, but as someone who 9 times out of 10 doesn't wanna be bothered during Geyser/Grandma, I can understand the reasoning

I think it can come down to a number of reasons. Yes, there are those who do not wish to be lit, & that can have reasons in itself.
Some players will be afk as they may be doing things irl or just busy, while there will be those that will just afk because others will do the burning.
Geyser being a small area, particularly if the urchins fall back in can become crowded when many skids trying to pop urchin, some will sit back & let others do it, instead of crowding or possibly get spammed honked at.
At grandma's the rush to the balls can sometimes push the wax balls into the walls, making impossible at times to pop them. While also the spam honking can happen there as well.
This going from observation & experience...hope helps to explain/clarify.

To help a bit with shared spaces....The amount of each of the objects you can place inside a shared space is different for each one. Often, smaller and lighter objects have more number of the same kind (for example: a cushion) you can use in the same shared space than bigger and "heavier" ones (for example a table, a hammock, a bookcase). Objects that looked red, weight more, so you are more likely to be able to place less of them, as they take a lot of space.

I often have that problem too because i run solo, so whenever i see the other person is going to the wrong side, i go next to them and do the Reject emote (with the red X), then the "come this way" emote. More often than not the person follows to the other side.

Pointing to the other side for some reason doesn't work as often

The idea is just for 2 players, if there's more this won't be an issue. Having the spirit near it as reference, I'll call it the "Left side" (near the spirit) and the "Right side" (facing away from them)
Both players need to burn the Left side, because it's not possible alone. After that side is finished, one stays at the core to prevent it to regrow, while the other player goes to the Right side until it's finished. If there was 3 players, each could cover the whole thing and it'd be done fast.

that usually happens if you forgot to click the statue before doing your dailies, if you restart the game and come back and it shows incomplete then thats most likely the case and youll have to do it again

finishing quests without clicking the daily statue can still show the complete banner
