The point of Sky is not dress up but to have fun with friends. If you wanna flex, it’ll take 1-2 years of farming almost daily. If you get the cosmetics that are available today, in 2 years they will be a flex. We all started as moths and worked our way up. However, if your sole reason for playing Sky is to flex, you gotta either work for it or find a different game

If i had to make a guess, one shop may eventually be made as a dedicated traveling spirit location, and somewhere in there, there might be a way non spirit cosmetics can come back like ones from shattering

When i first played sky i tried to obtain almost every traveling spirit item that passed by me, thinking to unlock everything i could and i ended up burning out really hard

i played through flight when i started, and did a ton of damage to my desire to play the game trying to finish the season out with the daily quests at the time, ending with not enough and having to buy a couple candle packs. enough so that despite buying the pass for abyss, i stopped doing daily quests after the new quests stopped coming
and then when performance came out i did like one quest and stopped

Agreed! Besides having all the stuff that you aren't going to use in the first place is kinda ehh- I learned the hard way that things take time and don't need to rush, and as long you have a goal and enjoy your time in Sky that is fine

When you log in, there’s a statue between Forest and Valley, it gives you 4 daily quests. They give you 4 yellow candles. You can watch Nastymold on YouTube every day to see how to complete the dailies

Hi all this is my first season in sky and i dont know if i’ll be able to do the passage quests before the season ends (a friend and i like to do all the quests together and we cant over the next few days.) Does anyone know if we’ll miss out on anything from revival if we wait to do them until after the season ends?

no, all seasonal quests remain aftwr a season ends. you only miss buying the cosmetics from the seasonal spirits immediately, and you'll have to wait until they eventually return as a traveling spirit.
(all the other quests are replaying old seasons...)

i think it just toggles on when you're going fast enough, and off when you slow back down, but it affects your jump height while its on and might let you go a bit faster, but im not sure

yeah its a bit different to not have like, ||a full ending quest like normal|| but my guess is that they fully intend to add a lot more to aviary and it'll probably be a long time until we see that lol

I think it could be what causes some of those cant teleport/server split stuff yeah. I play with someone in group B and its really annoying to get split but there are ways around it atleast

for eden if you sit around in the social space with your friend, you can be merged into a place where someone already opened the door, and then you can walk through just fine
and for aviary space you can go through a realm door, have them teleport to you, then you both use home button ( this might take two tries lol )

We have different homes. All my friends set theirs to Aviary mines the original home, I wasn't planning to switch to Aviary, but if it makes it easier to play with my friends I think I will

That is actually caused by the Versions between 0.23.5 and the 0.23.6 Hotfix, Switch and PC Players will not be able to join other players or friends at Home or Aviary due to the fact that the other platforms has the 0.23.6 Hotfix, while PC and Switch are still on 0.23.5

I agree, definitely was a little lackluster (fireworks should have been where Passage's guide quest should have been), but Aviary isn't done expanding yet. There was something about "further expansions to Aviary in 2024" in one of the posts TGC made in news, so we're definitely not done yet. Just gotta wait and see.

I found it a little disappointing since it doesn't let you slide more than normal sliding with your feet. But try using it to get to today's task catching the light in the Valley of Triumph. Using it to slide downhill you go a lot faster, and if a little bump throws you in the air you stay in the air for longer.

I have got to say that the happy energetic race music seems very out-of-place in the dark depressing surroundings of the Wasteland battlefield.

Me personally, im havn fun with the snow board. I like that it automatically activates in some situations, and that you do random backflips when it decides to un/equip. But thats just cus i like chaos. You can actually board uphill with it too if you spam jump

I like Remembrance a lot. I don’t have any comments on any of the next seasons because I didn’t participate in two of them and for Revival, honestly just a comment on it, I personally don’t like the season that much. But, all the season are wonderfully made.

aviary is a long term project so it’ll continue to be updated even after revival ends, not sure about the giant plant though but i saw the small one

That was only ever seen during Beta testing and never arrived in Live (so you may want to delete your comments about it to avoid potential spoilers). It ended up being hidden/unused because the developers felt that it, along with several other additions at the time, were too much of a restoration for such an early stage of Aviary. And like Lyst said, Aviary is a long term project, so there's a very real possibility that it will end up returning at a later point.

Well, Ark Shards are always on the 29th day of the month, unless the 29th falls on Wednesday or Thursday, and when it does fall, it always seems to fall at the Back or the Back-Left of the Ark, with a rare chance for it to fall at the Front

You must've had a PC player in your server (unless you are a PC player) cuz that's a bug for PC atm where the shard plants spawn in different locations compared to other platforms and the game alternates between them

theres also a fun thing, if the shard is in wasteland where krill are, you can be krilled during the cutscene after you do the spirit collection challenge after melting all the plants

cant move during that, we were like 5 people sitting there in the red and everyone got hit, this probably also means if someone is mean they could steer a krill towards people sitting there in the cutscene and get them all krilled

Normal people work during the holidays 😢 those devs are privileged, very good for them, but they could have one or two extra employees on flex time to fix bugs.

The funny part about that though is collaboratively working on a project and coordinating becomes a nightmare if you leave only a couple people to fix things and start pushing stuff to live servers for everyone Having to call people on break to help you fix something is the fastest way to make it not an actual break
I don't suspect they're a tremendously large dev team anyway so having their coders never get the holidays off would probably suck, heh. Stuff also compounds fast because QA need to test it too, and depending on what it is a design team might want to review it LOL

If anything, while those issues are frustrating they aren't really like, majorly critical issues that are affecting everyone's ability to play the game, and i imagine they'll fix it when they're back. Seems like they're pretty good with timing their breaks anyway, with feast probably having been ready and season of revival winding down.

I'm guessing they'll probably start winding the next season up when they're back in 2024, have we seen anything officially besides the deer looking season symbol they posted on their socials a while ago?
