Yes, it is. It's how I got a majority of mine done. Once you've done it once, talked to the guide, and gone Home, you can return to do the shard again, and it should be the next memory.

Once you've done them all, though, it'll return to the normal memory that everyone else has.

I'm following the cooldown of one year, and you may notice all of these are set year after they last visited because based on player observations for awhile now since the TS pool is growing larger, its safer to assume that the TS that previously visited will possibly come back after a few months to a year, so me and riri just stuck with a year cooldown to be safe.

we did the same thing with TS that haven't arrived yet just to be safe. thanks for spotting the mistake with the Festive Spin DAncer one though.

Only the dates on Lamplighter and Spinning Champion are set one year after their last appearance though--the other spirits have the exact date they left. If you set all the dates to one year after they last appeared, then I don't think it would be an accurate list, even though you are correct in that spirits tend to appear at least one year after their last appearance.

The spirit that wins the poll will be the second TS after PC launch. PC is currently in the demo phase so I don't think the launch will be next week, or else it would've been announced by now.

That does mean the PC launch will be coming soon however, and we know it will be available by the end of the year. I think we'll get it in November, which will be after TS #98 (October 26-29).

I'm in the opposite camp. I kind of like the idea of Aviary replacing the current Home, as long as we get the old Home until after Eden, or at the very least Valley when we unlock seasonal stuff, or that we can visit the old Home if we so desire. Maybe make it so we can choose which version we get? So some can be in the old, chill Home, and those that want the more bustling version can choose Aviary?

I just like the idea of a bustling starting point. It's fun to watch people do their stuff, and Home feels a bit too small, with too little actually in it for that.

Plus, if it's a new area, it likely won't fulfill the goal TGC has in making it, wanting it to be a bustling place where people will hang out. They'll likely just do what they normally do: hang out in Home, or go to a realm and hang out there, where players can do other stuff besides sit around and chat or play with props, which can be done anywhere.

The only way I see it being what TGC wants it to be is if it either entirely replaces Home, or if there's a direct portal of access in Home at all times, even after the season ends. If we have to go to a realm, travel through it, and go through a gate, like Peaks or Abyss, it definitely will not be bustling and full of players much after the season ends, unless there's something to do other than what we can already do at Home.

I think devs might stick to the idea of making aviary the perfect place for hanging out with friends and also the home of festivals (or any "days of ...")

My last issue with it still arises. Unless there's more there to draw people in, the area is going to be empty between "Days" events, unless it's directly accessible at all times. I've seen it in so many MMOs and otherwise online games, an area that has too many steps to get to (realm door, area, area, Aviary gate, Aviary) is going to be empty outside of event times, unless there's something there to do. If it's just talking and hanging out, I'm sorry, but it'll be empty, because people can do that anywhere else just as well.

I hope it becomes what TGC wants, even if it doesn't replace home, but I've seen how thousands humans behave in groups in dozens of online games in over 20 years of gaming. It's not going to be what they want, unless there's something there besides just a hangout spot.

As if having to wait an entire year for a time-limited event isn’t bad enough, let’s add some unpredictability into the mix. And divorcing the items from their corresponding seasons/holidays…

Oh, I absolutely agree. It's frustrating, especially since I have never attended Mischief (started after last year's running), and will thus have no clue when, where, or what will be available now. I know I'm not the only one, and I know a lot of people were waiting excitedly for some of the older cosmetics that now won't be arriving until a later, unspecified date.

To play devil's advocate, though, if they release a second rotation that runs concurrently to the event, but technically separate so people can choose newer or older stuff, that'd be fine. If it's literally going to be on some seemingly random rotation, completely separate from its events, it's not going to be very fun...

@mortal fulcrum Yeah, that’s the boat I’m in, too. I started playing December of last year, and I’ve been looking forward to getting the witch hair since like January. I wouldn’t mind the idea of a concurrent rotation, but wouldn’t that defeat the purpose of what they claim they’re trying to “fix”? Because it’s still the same amount of cosmetics available at the same time? My fear is that whatever the worst way to do this is, that’s what TGC is going to do. Whether that’s random rotations of older items, or having to wait around for the Aviary and having like a separate shop or something that rotates through items that have been ‘discontinued’ from their events.

The only way I could see my idea working is because it removes it from the regular Guide's tree, reducing the amount of candles/currency to reach all the items, thus reducing the load. However, you're right, it would basically be the same as it is now, just split into two trees.

I honestly don't know how they're doing it, but I'm assuming it'll be a seemingly random at first rotation in Aviary, since Aviary is inspired by bustling festival markets. Still, you're right that divorcing cosmetics from their events feels wrong. Is it the worst way they could do it? Nah, the worst would be removing the cosmetics entirely. Is it ideal? Not even close.

The tickets are in the form of blue top hats. To find them you have to go to the style guide at home, click on them, and sit on the meditation circle that appears on the cushion next to the style guide so you will be transported to the runway.

There are a total of 4 top hats/ tickets nearby the area and the 5th you can get by watching a player's runway show completely by the memory diamonds

There are only a total of 5 free tickets to be obtained daily, but as for the bought tickets I think there isn't a limit to how much you can buy. If you have enough ac or candles you could essentially buy every ticket style item on the first day
