I don’t know if this was well known or not, but…a few weeks ago (?), I realized the stone bridge in Forest’s elevated clearing was replaced with a flock of spirit birds. I could ride these birds to the other side of the ledge, and fly through them.

Just today, when I went there, the birds were still there, but now there was a layer of blue sparkles that created an invisible surface on this bridge that could be walked across. And even more startling, there were 2 spirit sprites standing on this bridge, far apart, but fairing each other. 😵 a girl on the rain side, and a boy on the sunny side…🤔 (like they were long lost lovers being reunited or something…?)

Me and my friends could see and touch the “bird bridge”, so it wasn’t just me. I saw the female spirit and joked on wether or not she was “asserting dominance”. 🤣 (it looked like she was T posing).

So real! It’s probably not that deep, but I kinda see our moth days as our actual childhood self, where you still adjust to the way of the world. And as you get older/play longer, you start to learn there are things you need to prioritize.

In that case about Guides, I think some moths may think we could rush their gameplay and experience and they just want to explore and find things out with no pressure of having someone watching over them

And in those cases where the moth activated the Guide button but still doesnt want help, I think they just clicked on it for curiosity or thinking a NPC would automatically appear to do something XD

The problem, is your thinking they only want the spirit, they don't know what that Button means

I've had more use from a guilty pleasure of kidnapping Guide moths on wild adventures than I have reliving a spirit, no one wants that, they'll do that eventually, what you can give them is a moment of joy to be with you.

I once grayed a guide moth, talked to them afterwards, they was astonished, good moment to me

I feel like moths should only get merged with other months until they get to a certain point. So they can explore and learn the game but also have help from other players who are also taking their time and exploring this new world they've found. Then later when they're looking for things they missed they can merge with older players who can show them around.

That actually already happens! I find that when I’m with a moth, we usually get server merged with other moths. I’ve been in entire servers with only moths in them too! There’s definitely some mechanic behind this
