oof unfortunately switch does get the short end of the stick on bugs because of how strict nintendo is on updates. no public beta so it's harder to catch bugs before they go live and once live it's an 11 week review period before another update is allowed. I'd offer help too but I am currently on playstation so I don't have a means to add a switch player without logging into another device

swtich to playstation is really the only cross platform that can't. switch to switch and mobile is fine. same for playstation to playstation and mobile. just switch and PS can't read qrs so they can't send a qr to each other

the only way currently is to meet a mutual friend and spend candles to add between switch and playstation who don't have other platforms to play on this was a problem raised over a year ago when switch came out that consoles cannot scan qrs and they needed a better way than "just get a good phone". I have a good phone and I was kinda upset at the in game message suggesting switch players play on mobile cuz of the game breaking bugs

Well its made to be installable for any devices that has a compatible browser (Chromium/Safari for iOS) but the current version with a bit more images, installing it will take up around 500 KB of data. i entercounter similiar thing when during grandma dinner. there are memory candles around that table. it was ok before.
now the memory candles all become memory floating light sqaures after update. when grandma offer dinner as the white ball, it is easy to get confused when the ball fall down on the grand surrounding with memory square.

deer mask certainly has it's own charm, but the umbrella is will be the choice for me here

sky is so broken... I tried it in several places including like half of the areas of prairie. orbit isn't even prairie and the quest specifies "in daylight prairie" (I've tried the mantas in vault before they've never completed the quest previously)

I only knew the manta in Orbit counted because I was doing Eden for the first time in Beta and it happened… then I waited until it appeared in Live and it registered.

the event quests are temporary to get people to participate in the events. so that quest may have been to get people to participate in shattering at all outside buying cosmetics. (to be fair making it a timed event with almost no explanation in game made it difficult for people who aren't on social media to participate)

it's a forgotten bug at this point but like. several seasons ago a bug cropped up that made everyone crash when handhold on piggyback occurred so we haven't been able to handhold on piggyback for a looooooong time I think it's been shoved on the back burner and we may never see a fix since the bandaid fix was disabling the ability to hold hands while on top of piggyback

there's over 60 TS in the pool of possibilities and new ones get added after every season ends so it's a very small probability of any particular one coming hopefully the one you want comes soon or TGC finds a more sustainable system to allow newer players a better chance at old spirits soon

I don't understand why TGC won't try to revamp this ts system. It's obviously not sustainable with the amount of ts's that are in the pool, and the random choice thing makes it even worse. It's so unfriendly to newer players, and it's not even really that good for vet players that either have the items or are burnt out trying to keep up. It's so bizarre to me to see this in game 🤔

they may just not have an idea. they poured like 90% of their resources into making aurora season happen so the team on remembrance was a skeleton crew basically and most other things got put on hold. it does seem like they want to do more collabs too which means long standing issues are also "back burner" issues that they don't want to think about immediately.

I can understand putting your all into these big end of the year extravaganzas, but I truly hope they turn an eye to the ts system sooner rather than later. There are some -very- easy fixes to this entire system that wouldn't even take too much time or effort in implementing, like a schedule instead of the randomness. It would give players more of chance to build their resources or buy candles. Maybe even a ticket once every 2 weeks that people could purchase, or even a 'backup' spirit that you could choose from so you're not stuck for 2 weeks with a spirit you really don't like.

Yeah, I just started playing at the end of December. Journey is literally one of my favorite games of all time (I'm an oldie 80s/90s gamer lol), so I didn't even know this game was out. As soon as I saw a trailer at the game awards I googled it and was flabbergasted that this game has been out since 2019! When I saw all the old seasonal items being exclusives I couldn't believe that a game company that made Journey would shut out players that didn't even know the game was out. I figured with the releases on android / switch / ps4 they'd have a way for those new communities to have a chance. Hopefully they will and more issues that seem to have gone on the back burner

Maybe a compromise would be letting you pay candles to recharge the existing shared space spell. That way the devs don't have to work out a way to save the space, and we can keep the toppping off the meter to keep our favorites existing.

For example, for you to repost your shared space, it cost 10 candles by default
If the shared space gets 50 hearts (for example), the candle costs lowers to like- 7, 8, or 9 candles (for example)

That brings up another good question, should the likes reset every 4 days, or if you keep putting candles into the spell to keep it alive, does it keep the existing count, and never give any more hearts?

having the candle cost lower for popular things sound interesting, but i'd just make it a flat rate. Since the initial spell is like 4 or 5 candles, and lasts for 4 days, i'd say paying a candle gets you an extra 24 hours.

A potential fix came out in last update, & was tested by another player in which they could not produce the bug. I've gone through there a number of times & have been fine so far as well. I just avoid going home from there, opting to fly out of wind paths.

Oh, they changed the message shrine behavior back. Hiding someone's candle refreshes all of then again.

1 go through wind paths
↳ in wps, from the center island facing towards the passages to other realms. The first tunnel on the left.

The only solution I can think of is just block them when you don't want to be disturbed, then unblock if you don't mind their company. You wont appear online to them and you wont bump into them.. I had the same issue and also sometimes just wanna do my CR because I find it relaxing and wanna be by myself. Some people don't get that and can be overly clingy. I mean personally I'm kind of ruthless and if someone doesn't respect my space, I just perma block them.
