Ok bear with me I gotta send this in two/three messages cause character limits: I scrolled up far enough to find a calendar visual representation of the october shard schedule and these are some patterns I saw. You've probably already noted these, but I'm procrastinating my semantics hw rn

No shard days don't change the pattern, rather become placerholders within the pattern (oct 25 should have been a RED B day, but it was a no-shard day. the pattern continued as expected otherwise)
No shard days have no (yet) occured on thurs/fri, and only once on sat

Red shards have one day in between them (like Oct 1 and 3), then 3 days after the second red shard day before this repeats ( like, Oct 3, then 7, then 9, then 13 and 15 etc..)
Red shards cycle through C, B, A in that order (oct 5 should have been RED C but was a no shard day)
Before/after red shards is either a black shard, or no shard day.

Black shards have one day in between them (oct 4 and 6) then 5 days after the second black shard (oct 6, 12) and this cycle repeats (12, 14, 18, 20, etc..)
Before and after Black shards is either a red shard, or no shard day

Since November already messed up that pattern, I wonder if they don't keep that numerical patterning carrying over into the next month. It seems that November cycle is starting like the 5th of October. so if that is right, tomorrow would be a Red B day

Red A:
every 6th day
has not occured on tuesdays/wednesdays (maybe it can't/won't? nov will tell)

Red B:
every 6th day
has not occured on sun/mon/tues (maybe it can't/won't? nov will tell)

Red C:
every 6th day
has not occured wed/thus/fri (maybe it can't/won't? nov will tell)

Black A:
Every 8th day
has not occured on sat/sun (maybe it can't/won't? nov will tell)

Black B:
every 8th day
has not occured on sun/mon (maybe it can't/won't? nov will tell)

Now here's a crazy idea: what if the schedule is the same every month, but it just SEEMS complex because of the no shard days? What if it is actually the exact same pattern as october, but the first of the month was no shard instead of Red B, and October 2nd was supposed to be a Black B but was a no shard day? this could mean that tomorrow is RED A instead of Red B.

IF this is the case, then the pattern seems to be:
Black A/B alternate every other day (Nov 2 Black B, Nov 4 Black A, Nov 6 Black B, etc.. )
Red C/B/A alternate every other day (Nov 1 Red B -no shard, Nov 3 Red A, Nov 5, Red C, Nov 7 Red B Nov 9 Red A etc...)

And the "gaps" in the patterns are just cause by sporadic no-shard days? And that the 31st of months throw it off a little, so there is a duplicate in Red B days on 31 and 1, or some no shard days to cover the extra day of the month?

every once in a while a shard falls, you have to burn the plants around it and then do a small spirit quest. If it’s black it gives you wax and if it’s red it gives you ascended candles

if there’s a shard in a realm there’ll be red crystals growing from the portal in home, and if you’re in the area where the shard is fallen the sky should turn red

Oh i only encounter the red one and it teleport me to the void after burning it and collecting the fragments of the manta thing

They want cosmetics and will buy them with real money. Those players will make most of the game company's profits. Basically those items aren't meant for normal players. They are for those few percent
