I find the flying rocks in hermit valley very unfair. After cleansing red shards they can hit players out of the meditation circle (where you sit to start the light fragments collection activity) and can (and saw it did) yeet any Skykid to red rocks which makes wings loose, this is just question of good/bad luck. I find it not challenging, just annoyingly helpless.

Apparently it’s ||inside the nearest whale. Fly up to the “blowhole” (the diamond-shaped hole in the front of its skull) and look a bit to the left. If it’s not bugged you should be able to see it.||

Just did the shards, and discovered that if you get unlit by the shard tornado while in the air, you are stuck in the air, in the path of the shards that hit you. It will not let you get down. Repeated and speedy loss of winged light. I closed the game and was thankful to come back to no losses.

After you burn the plans you need to get to the main shard and meditate in the white circle, it will activate the second part of the quest which involves gathering memory pieces (not sure if that's how they are called)
