I just do the shard whenever I the time I’ve got available to play coincides with the time the shard is on the ground. Sometimes that means having to do it solo. Fortunately I have enough WL that I don’t mind losing some, but not so many that I have a 12th wedge to protect.

Advice for people doing the Treehouse Shards

If possible, get to the Treehouse early (probably about minutes before the Shard drops) because if you completed all the Assembly Quests, and it somehow rains, then speak with the Assembly Guide, and replay the last memory, It will stop the rain!

The Shards lands at XX:57, so about XX:48 - XX:50 is a good time to make your way over to the Treehouse to stop the rain

I managed to get someone from the jam session I was doing with people at Granny’s tree to follow me to the treehouse thanks to some ‘follow me’ and pointing emotes. And then we had another person show up so thankfully it wasn’t just me and that person. We all worked together really well and managed to burn all the plants! We all bowed and blew kisses to each other after getting our full reward and I felt proud because just three strangers were able to work together to complete arguably one of the worst shard locations without losing any Winged Light!

overall costing is the same its just that seasonal trees are shorter and prices are rearranged but very unbalanced/depends if it has cosmetics, however after you unlock the costly node the next one is guarantee to be cheaper ex: after 35sc king jelly hair next node is 16sc

okay, sorry but I have to complain for a second... I don't know why, but I had to do the red shard event by my self just now, and it was so brutal. I lost soooo much winged light. I struggled to burn through all the dark plants and then finally it was over and the cut scene happened, but I was completely out of light at that point and I had to watch this cut scene while I lost two more winged light 😑 all for two ascended candles. ugh but at least I finally got this 'memory' event for the season.

People who use their friendship candles for the shards instead of the regular ones are just hurting themselves. This player I just did the shard event with was clearly using this method to avoid coming close to other players. It didn’t matter to me ‘cause their friend actually used the regular candle. But then as we went on, they kept getting attacked by crabs, and kept losing lights. I think at one point they had to go home and then rejoin through their friend, while I finished 90% the last part myself. It makes me wonder, was avoiding other players worth almost losing a wing

So you know how you use the big candles to gain new friendship tiers? People can use that to burn the darkness, but it doesn’t work like the small red candle. So people use this to avoid lighting candles with other players, so that they can’t see each other

But maybe I'm also biased against it because it was my first non-base game pants and so many people wore it the first several weeks it became boring

the year is 2024. sky's 4th collab season is starting. the ts list is ginormous. yeti has still not come back, despite last being seen in march 2021. scolding student has not come back since august 2022. everyone is broke as the latest ts, mellow musician, comes back for the first time with their total candle cost being nearly 250 candles.

I only looked up spirits when I couldn't find them after scouring the areas. I did the same with all the WL before I went through Eden my first time.

My friend who guided me laughed as I scoured up and down the first sliding portion of Valley thinking I'd find a spirit there
