I’m happy we have nothing new with love this year. We have tournament (only happens every two years) and fortune (changes animals every year so it’s not good to skip) with new content, and since love happens yearly, and doesn’t have anything NEEDING to be added on a yearly basis, it makes sense to just rerun it so that it’s still there, but not overwhelming people or their wallets with three events so close in succession. I miss the new content but my wallet and my schedule are happy with less to work for

Because it only happens every other year (this is only the second time it’s happened) and players wanted it back REALLY bad. I honestly never see anything about days of love outside of the period of time it happens each year. Meanwhile I see people talking about wanting the tournament back almost daily, so I bet TGC put more on it since it was so anticipated and asked for. And the tournament happens at different times of year (summer and winter) to align with what Olympics event is taking place. So next time tournament happens it will be in summer 2028. Love is at the same time every year and will never leave the roster of events. A rerun made a bit more sense this year, and we’ll likely see it with new content like normal again next year

You technically don't need to go to eden, but it's best to go at least once to unlock more of the game

You don't have to! You can go another time. We also can get ascended candles through shards too, just Eden has the best source of them

You get ascended candles as a reward for going to Eden, then when a travelling spirit arrives, you get a wing buff. Then when you’re reborn, you’re given that buff permanently unless you take damage
