honestly i think aviary is a nice area, especially for new bebe moffs who are so curious and just wanna poke and mess around with every fun thing they see — back then when sky as a whole has such a magical vibe for you, seeing all these spirits you met across the realms just hanging out and getting up to all kinds of shenoonigans would be such a fun and special feeling imo

however old home is probably better for somewhat old players like me who play sky a lot (well, at least i used to play sky a lot... ) due to constantly having to travel through the long distance to get to the portals, the huge load the area puts on our device which makes crashes and lag more frequent and just the fact that the simple yet cozy old home is so nostalgic for us ...and also the mild annoyance at how it's getting completely ignored which feels a tad bit like aviary is being forcefully pushed onto us as time goes by

so honestly, even tho as i said i prefer old home, i'd definitely have to agree that both are really nice

yeah definitely, it's just I view chibi fall as the problem that permeated a culture of accepting basically anything from tgc made with the bare minimum effort and quality, and when people only use oobs to justify its presence and inclusion it just tells me people havent moved on - even when oobs really arent that impressive or interesting. it's like you said, used for shortcuts often as well, and that tells me there's another facet to this topic suggesting a problem with tgc's game design. a chibi fall fix has to come in the same patch where these problems are addressed, if they didnt do anything to the problematic game design but fixed chibi fall alone I'd also be angry. I just think people deserve better than a game where bugs are constantly tolerated and treated as a quirk rather than an error tgc should be trying to minimize. if it's any example of what I mean, last week there was an error that prevented people from being able to complete eden and while questions were asked nobody questioned what the hell they were doing, and it was one adjacent to another problem with eden tgc was completely unable to fix. all in all when I look at the IAPs and still see the sky community hold themselves to bare minimum standards, it is funny and also breaks my heart a little - makes me ask where does all that money go and why do we still think "le funny bug" when it's blatantly enabling tgc to be "lazy"

Chibi fall imo is a small part of the issues you’re talking about. Idt peoples ability to shortcut and what not is the reason why tgc map design might be sus or very buggy. you are correct, it so happens that if we fixed chibi fall alone, the other problem to be "introduced" would be the matchmaking - the system that dictates who you join and who you're separated from. the chibi fall is the community's solution as well as the silent complaint about their game design. it's not the chibi fall that's wrong with mp doors, it's matchmaking and the time required to merge with 3 other people who are also waiting there for other players. I'm not saying fixing chibi fall would not magically solve every single problem, I'm implying that fixing chibi fall would essentially act as a gateway to addressing these other problems, because the aforementioned problems would be experienced by so many other people that it'd get very difficult if not impossible to ignore
