“The Dying Krill”
Five seconds is all it takes, and then one can only hope cover is near. From blue to red the Krills play no games and only the stealthy can continue on the path. After the seconds are up it gives chase that is how it works, but subvertation has another story to tell. The ash rains and the environment blooms with wasteful dullness that envelopes the child of this tale. A child of wonder with a spirit pensive for the stars; they insisted on collecting them all.

The child wondered and wonder in the wasteland, making sure every last star was found. For no one was left behind. In the distance of the shore was an arched structure. Approaching over to the structure, the child noticed a mortifying creature below it, a Krill. Staring right back at them, it’s face a vibrant glowing blue. The child panicked in search of cover however there was none in the field. After a second of panic the child noticed the Krill never alerted. Instead, he just stared at them, his body grunting as he shifted his weight, struggling to breathe. He had no strength to fight, no energy to move any further.
The child stood besides him silently, then out of amazement held their hand up to him. After all the deaths and harm his kind has caused them, this child held their hand to him. The Krill could feel his own light dimming. However now he felt comfort. He felt forgiven for the first time in his life. Letting his final breathe escape him, his light vanished.
The ash rains and the environment blooms with wasteful dullness that envelopes the child of this tale. A child of wonder with a spirit pensive for the stars;
they insisted on collecting them all.

First drawing of a concept I had for a cape. I’m calling it the Cape of Corruption. As you use the wings on this cape, rather then share light with your friends or nearby players, this cape will steal their light. While this may mean you’ll have to fly solo, this cape comes with a few benefits. Firstly krill will not attack and crabs will run away from you. Secondly, dark water will not harm you (this does not include the rain in the hidden forest) I also made a purified version for fun

I had a very vivid dream where sky was a more serious game that focused on war and loss rather than rebirth. The premise is that you awaken with no memory and try to explore a battered world which you were once so immersed in.

Summary is sky kid get amnesia, sky kid explore. Sky Kid learns there is war, sky kid sad. Lots of aesthetic visuals though, as far as a dream can go.

I will be making more detailed drawings of the scenery because tbh that dream was really good, for the lack of a better term. Anyways here's what I, or the player character looked like!

This is Bluebell the krill child trying to make a red candle like all the children of light have. He used to be a krill but managed to take in a winged light because he wanted to save the light instead of harm it. He wants to be friends with all the sky children but can’t because they all just run away from him because he looks like a krill… the odd looking manta is the only creature of light who is willing to be his friend, her name is flora.
