Idk if there are any other factor needed to make this bug happen. But my friend and i was testing if server merge&split has to do with it. And both of us got the bug this way. Hopefully you can trigger it too!

There is a set of stairs, underwater in a section that we currently have access to of you've done the first mission. It goes down pretty deep once you find them. At the bottom of the stairs, there's a slight little ramp next to the wall that is in complete darkness, you can't see it without light or by knowing where it's at. I fell through the floor here, chibi style, and as soon as I was OOB, I located a HUGE sphere under the water , almost as big as fire trial, the big guy swims underneath the huge sphere

They started doing that every time the fireworks start and the dragon shows up

Every hour starting from xx:00, all the spirits will start boogie dancing while the questgiver sits at the edge. Fireworks will play and the spirits will do various emotes. At the end they all bow at each other then go back to their normal places (look at pictures below for reference)
