it's nothing unusual, ||stormlock|| has been in the game for a long time - it's to ensure nothing is ruined for you if you crash in eden or in ||orbit. stormlock is called stormlock because the old name for eden was actually storm you end up locked in storm so to speak||

@humble loom @fallow haven simplest method to get ||stormlocked home just restart your game manually while in orbit. full close it and remove from background and then re-open. you should spawn in a thunderstorm filled home. don't go to the rebirth portal, but just close the game at the constellation table in orbit||

okie to make steps clearer:
||- restart the game at any point after you have successfully died and reached the glowing child. I told u to restart at the constellation table in orbit because then you won't miss any of the beautiful ascension to orbit with the spirits and friends who give wax. restarting earlier will cause you to miss these scenes.

• when you have closed the game, remove it from background and re-open
• when you spawn into home you should be in stormlock, and capeless
• to return to orbit (and complete eden) you can use the return shrine and go through the rebirth gate as normal ||

no, in ||stormlock you are literally locked into home and eden. all the portals are empty, and you cannot enter any realm. the only way out of stormlock is the return shrine and being reborn properly. the return shrine leads back to orbit (the place you get ascended candles), and you can just run though the gate at the end to be reborn as normal||

I think that this island in sanctuary would make a pretty nice shared space. Its spacious, has flat terrain, but with the spin of a water feature allowing the gondola to see use in shared spaces.
