So I just had to do an entire shard event by myself and I came to a realization. There’s a new feature where the deep honk/call works a little differently, usually when used, any nearby crabs would flip onto their backs but with the new shard crabs they they would run to you and attack instead. I think this was added with the intent of players figuring out a strategy like what I just did:

1. have a recharge source outside of the area
2. Choose an area to start burning
3. Agro crabs using deep honk or running to lure them away from the area you want to burn
4. Remember you have a flight advantage over the crabs, after you lure them away DO NOT WALK OR RUN back to the area you want to burn. Fly to it instead, to prevent agro-ing the crabs back to you.
5. Be careful and aware of your surroundings when moving about, as to not lose wl.

This might be something others have already figured out but I hope this helps persons who are still struggling. ( I felt like a crab wrangler 😎 )
