6. Used to finalize upgrades to balance your use of speedups
7. Stamina - I wouldn't recommend using them for this but yeah, if you have no other alternative you can

Personally I'm using them at least twice a day to refill AP for dailies, to fit my schedule. Never had a lack of bios because of it though.

That is more in consideration with buffs like Insta recruit (we have 2, 1 from MIGO and 1 from Chief crystal research), Bios and Marches grants and Insta gather.
If you forget using them or use them much later than cooldown, its sorta loss for you, you get 1000-1500 free troops literally, never like to miss right. Now, most of the buffs have a very staright forward cooldown, 12 hrs or 24 hrs. Crystal research's Insta troop recruit is vague (like 2 days, 6 hrs ?), even Insta gather has 15hrs frame.

Having a dot will help.

Now, other thing is that I NEVER heal troops, I use 10% insta heal everyday and save RSS, but I get late in using it and sometimes it slips off. Since I am on WAR talets all the time, i dont get to see cooldown status either. A red dot, will help greatly.

I use heavily for refreshing trucks and deployment tasks.
Even if I have to spend 10k everyday, I try to have trucks loaded with 3 blackchips for FS and 5 Blue cartridges.

Deployment has become important since it has started dropping Blue vial for gene recombination.

Well, here's the thing. There's a bug in the fishing event.
Also. It still shows there's bio in the idle rewards. Maybe they did remove buffs from the Biocap and free 6 hr idle rewards for real, maybe it's part of the bug 🤷

So, we shall see about that, so for now. I'm going to keep my mouth shut about it.
And if they legit did remove biocaps from idle rewards for the 12 hours you can get. There's definitely a few people to blame who mentioned prove vs reward. That are to blame.
So for now. Maybe I'm just keeping my mouth shut for the time being.
And I'm gonna give it about 2 weeks or so. When people start crying they are noticing a huge dip in their Biocap backpack.
Give it about a month, and then you really gonna start seeing people crying about not having enough bio's. And then, at that moment. That's when you'll see me start popping off like I used to back in 2020.

They were specifically informed regarding how porous the store was in their first title.

They removed the store feature of non authenticated logins. Then brought it back as is.

Every jungle gems game select some people to screw them over.

You know how normal RNG rewards work? Every time it comes a time for a reward drop it generates it according to assigned reward chances.

Now here comes SoS RNG rewards system. Event starts then SoS randomly picks players based on a criteria only they know of and decides this people will get screwed this time.

So far had multiple streaks of 24+h of only biocaps in jungle gems. There is something very wrong with how it works but they are too lazy to care and/or try to make it fair.

Tbh, if they remove TD, then they're likely to replace it with another form of alliance-based points race similar to it, so there's something to simulate a deficit prior to state event weeks.
I shudder to think what such a thing would look like, so maybe in complaining, we should consider what would be acceptable as a form of replacement.

I only say this because it seems the way they develop, there has to be specific styles of things to achieve certain scenarios or environments with the interest of encouraging potential expense and/or engagement. So if we get rid of TD, they may add something far worse to mimic the conditions TD fulfilled.

Tbh, the "blue" tasks that always show up, I think should have a shorter refresh because they were low quality tasks. Whether or not the refresh brings a different grade of task is something which is a separate, yet related, concern from there.

In some cases, I don't mind waiting for 30 minutes for tasks to refresh, but in others, it's like "I don't want a bunch of blue tasks taking up valuable real estate, just replace them"

1. Does it take a lot to extend Ray's place for a "catch up period"? The math can be done in any number of ways to determine what the best timeline is for such an effort so players are as close to caught up as possible.

It seems odd we have missions stories for Trish, Wolfe and Maddie but not for the newer characters. We're currently on G20 so I doubt anyone besides some F2P players are using G2 characters?

It's been well over 180 days, which is the timeline for reassessing each player in the VIP program to see if they are eligible to be offered that service again and it seems I didn't meet the criteria.

While it was never disclosed I know from my spending at the time of being invited and speaking to others with a GM, that massive spending is involved in the criteria and might be the only deciding factor.

I had went completely F2P for a really long period this year, spent on anniversary, but have not spent on this event and will soon be returning to 100% F2P.

Even if you still had one, meaning you're still spending wildly on SOS, the ROI, if you want to look at it that way (your acknowledged by spending and nothing else I could determine) is extremely low.

I remember being told this by players that had the program before me.

Mine tried her best at first, but after awhile it would take 14hrs + at times to get a response to what I felt was a simple question. They were basically CS, just able to help push a few things more directly.

There is another level, but we can guess who spends that kind of money and their communications are...lets just leave it at "different".

They introduced birthday gifts after enough players either complained or questioned its value, but it was a one time 15% off coupon only valid for 7 days. The VIP *frame you get has zero buffs and always bothered me as to whether my peers would perceive me as pretentious, at least the ones who had never interacted with me to know differently.

They made the VIP CS harder if I recall to maintain, like before if you spent x amount you'd be invited and that, now it's like spend xxx amount to get this VIP service and even then if your spending drops below a threshold you're no longer important enough.

Hell, even if "important" they still useless for most part, I know in past they've done things for players but those are few and far between compared to everything else they blind side or reflect

Also, if Nanami is generally too busy then that's k, but for god sake just get an actual CM who can do their job as CM and talk to people regularly. It's beyond a joke and helps no one.

As with many companies, their employees and those that volunteer seem to be stretched thin. I don't think FP cares about this though and I'm sure they know it's at the core of several problems for those tasked with interacting with the community.

GMs, CMs, and Mods.

As for the VIP program I wasn't aware of that but can't say I'm at all surprised.

Instead of hiring more GMs for the amount players are spending it would be peak FP to instead raise the spending metric so some players like me, but even those who are still spending, quickly lose access.

I do know that the in-game VIP program, at 14 or 15 I think it is? Is now tied to needing to buy a bundle once per week or something like that, or your lose it.

We can already see it to a lesser degree in missions > daily rewards, where one of the items is "Maintain active VIP status"

And agreed on one other point you made. I've been a "VIP" and "Trusted Ally" in many communities in the past, have even held a CM role before, and it had zero to do with what I was spending and everything to do with what I was contributing to the community.

FP is just built different and not in the good way this term is usually associated with.

A lot of ppl, including whales in our bracket are nervous about Gen-skip and bracket mergers.

Last time when it happened our bracket's (1111-1128) merger with 1057-1110, a lot of whales reduced their spending. One of the strongest whales who was/is in our alliance reduced his spending drastically.
The issue last time was that one MIGO season was skipped and bracket we merged in has players who were in the game at least 4 months before us.
The power difference between the whales was clearly noticable.

Power difference between mid-speders and F2Ps is still present.
Unfortunately, we didnt even get even a MIGO HQ skin as compensation.

I hope this is not being repeated again.

A customer-facing CM needs to understand nuance and context, needs to have patience and determine if something is coming from a place of trolling or legitimate anger/concern, needs to walk the line between funny and serious without seeming like a try-hard, and also needs to understand that - to players - they are the face of the company we see the most so they need to present a certain bridge between players and corporate.

What a CM says and does here is viewed by their customer base, and from that view, we form and shape opinions about the CM, the company itself, and the title.
Those opinions them determine our level of engagement and which metrics we contribute to, such as spending or grinding.

If a CM is unable to greet an angry face without becoming impatient and rude, if their first instinct is to ban instead of mold a conversation into something productive, then they aren't meant to be customer-facing.
Because who people see when they're angry, when they're worried, when they're feeling negatively - and how that person responds - determines customer loyalty to a company and it's potential array of products.

When Soares was here, conversation with him felt very stilted, unnatural, and unenjoyable. He seemed like someone who was better suited to data and information, not conversation.
I don't feel it's a loss here without him, but I do wish him well wherever he is and hope he's in a better role more suited to his demeanor.

(that's one reason I try to engage Nanami more. Without Saber here, we are lacking someone more customer-facing, and those of us who have interacted with Nanami don't seem to have a bad reception of her. I just hope they aren't keeping her busy away from us on purpose.)

If they personalized the stores in the way I described back in May, going as far as to give a full breakout of what rewards in an event like POW, the new Honor Store doesn't even come close to how I'd imagine a mega store would look like.

These devs knew we were already going to be gen skipped, they had already gen skipped other states and now gen skip for more are on the way but instead of making the bundles in Ray's Place additive, they made it subtractive. We got Mia in Ray's crates for like 2 appearances, then it went to the weekly deals store, where you can only buy her frags but don't get any potions. Amazing...

When you can't create a store that uses personalization and pre-selected awards that align with a players specific growth path or interests, you deliver the Honor Store, double down on predatory tactics and start putting like buttons on everything because the first thing humanity needs to return to a civilized world is a popularity contest.

So yes, in general I agree with your 1-3, and the mod who added a 4th, but this still isn't fully defined IMHO

The point here is that, many times( actually most of the times) people dont find a smart way around things.

Fishing is an exceptionally good event, those who are not engaging with it, have never tried engaging with it.

In my alliance, fishing is at center spot right now, we spoke multiple times about it and every one is liking it. I wouldn't elaborate here much, but those who know it, they know the smart way.

This goes for many events,PPL throw their hands around but never try to watch a catzilla video to learn the smart way.
The event overload is real, but choice is always yours.

I believe I've seen the "buy bundles" as a solution postured before and Nanami could have just said the same yesterday because it doesn't take 4.5 months, a longer timeline for other gen skipped states, to have received a solution.

I was going to post about this recently.

In the POW that just finished, I did not get a single pre-made/team of whales. This was very different than past plays in 875 where meeting BJS and VIP were common occurrences to the point some players seemed to play less, or not at all. "POW was ruined by teams!!!", many lamented in SC or MIGO chat.

I also noticed in this last POW event the teams appeared extremely well matched. "What did FP do? How is the matching so good now? How did we not face a single team/pre-made during this POW?, a few of us wondered?

While I've gotten much stronger since I last played it to the end of POW, the most I ever finished MVP in the past were 1-2 times, and it usually happened at an odd hour for me, where the teams weren't too well matched or I was with a group where quite a few weren't that strong. I wasn't playing bots like I clearly see on my alt quite often, or used to.

This time, I was MVP in 8 matches. What the hell? Now mind you, there were other strong players present, which brings me to my final observation.

A lot of the matches were close. Close to the point where it was only myself or someone else doing something strategically smart that made the difference in the last few minutes.

Conclusion: Whatever the hell FP is up to and they did this iteration of POW, they should copy that if possible and apply it to all states. It was the fun POW we had all enjoyed at one point, until whales ruined it.

Umm, SOS didn't do anything. You either got lucky on your times you chose to play like killer said, or, you didn't quite get many whale teams because,
you have to consider, whales are focused on Xmas.
And all related tasks that go with it. Jungle gems, fishing, mining, etc etc. So they're less apt to all be on a same schedule doing events and don't make the team as often this time.
And
more and more whales are making teams and fighting each other to save hundreds of hours for all the other more important events in the game. and slowly over time, they stop playing as much pow matches for good rank, but for the tier rewards.

For the most part anyhow. They kinda have to have those spec ops heroes, and goodies that come not only from stage rank but from the total event rank as well.

That actually makes more sense than FP having done anything, but for the amount I was playing it felt odd.

What FP has done inadvertently, and would be a lasting effect on returning POW to it's former self is layered more and more events on each other.

We have MIGO, Tomb Raider and Twinkling joy. This is the new pattern, and I can only imagine will get worse.

So, if the whales are off outspending each other for lackluster rewards in most of these events, the rest of us can enjoy POW again while they battle it out in the rankings.

Imo, PoW craves for many design innovations. Some of the ideas I have will make it very very enjoyable, trust me on this. But if I put it on feedbacks, there will be downrater gang running amok to ruin them. So I wouldn't. I just hope I get an audience with a dev, someday.

Now, it is not like that whales didn't like the cat and mouse game against bombing F2Ps, it's just that they hung out together in hope of taking on another gang but MM didn't work that well...ever.

I would pay to watch whales taking on whales in PoW. But current MM is just going to fry F2Ps.

I think solution of this is fairly simple.
Players who have finished their badges 90% (Pick a number and keep it secret) or above should have a different arena with different prizes.

Chief Badges Red caps are highly sought after item when player hasn't completed them. Its unbelievable that they can be gotten free only fom Heist (twice a month) , CC(twice a month) and that zombie killing event (one in a month), and they are never enough.

After completing them, heist becomes meaningless except satiating the KE lust and ePeen.

The red caps are only sought after for an extremely breif period. After that you want badge tags way more and have more red caps than you know what to do with. The crossover point is midway through I'd say.

not sure about the Jigsaws, didn't have any troubles with those, always get the three stars (well, except for the second puzzle, only got 2 stars but after getting three stars on the third one went back to the second to complete)
