The whole system is like Vehicles, if you closely see it, but instead on going on troop types it goes on heroes.
Worse part is you can reset vehicles easy and get all batteries out, resetting pets give basically nothing.

Time is money. Time spent in game engaging in an event directly translates to one of several analytics the developers utilize which helps generate revenue. It also makes the game easier to peddle to potential investors and collaborators to say "see this is what time people are spending in game" - just as one instance.
This also leads to the potential to market to those players with other bundles and offers which now converts time into money.
And above time and money, data. Data about their average play length, events they favor, things they've invested any sort of in/out of game currency on, region, etc etc etc.

If you think time isn't a valuable or precious metric the developers consider, you're unfortunately mistaken. They wouldn't force schedules and bloat the game with events if they didn't think time was important.

I've spent at least that amount of time being teeved off about having too wait for someone or something, for like ten minutes!

But, ten minutes flies when I am late for anything, especially for work-20 minutes....goes by...blink of an eye,
But... waiting in line for 8 minutes.....an eternity!!!

We were just reminiscing about SvS being on Christmas or NYE/NYD the last few years yesterday, too, in one of my servers.

either its special hence the event or its not because no everyone celebrates Christmas, in which case cancel the event

Yeah I saw it. My issue with that is, while in some of the past cases, it really is just how the event schedule goes, they can see in advance when something is going to fall on a major holiday. And this isn't me assuming "everyone's American" or anything.
There's a large portion of the world which celebrate those holidays, or observe celebrations around those same times.

So they could have, at any point, changed tack and adjusted the duration of Nexus to avoid that. And honestly, they could have even sent out a message like "we noticed the last day of Nexus is on Christmas, when many of you are celebrating, so we have instead adjusted the schedule and moved the final day to [blank]. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from State of Survival."

Very true, and when they're implementing these in game, they have to plot out the schedules for things. So there is no way they didn't see this world event timing, including the scheduling of Nexus.

Now, if they had shortened the duration of the event from two (unnecessarily long) weeks, there wouldn't have been the burden of choosing a silly event over time with family, but .. here we are.

While I do understand why they didn't want to fiddle with the overall scheduling and timing, because world event season durations are fixed and adjusting them does have repercussions, I don't think it would have been too much of a hardship for them to have adjusted the duration of Nexus or made arrangements for some alternative seeing that the final day falls on a holiday for many of their players.

For a company who prioritizes engagement in game as a valued metric, they don't seem to want people to do these events.

Or they want people to make a choice.

Another question, why is there two different time?

Those are when each stage or mini event will close.

But also, the devs aren't good with timers or calendars lol

You see how Abyssal has its own store, there, Emman? The Exchange? The two timers are likely the active and redemption stages, meaning the one on the festival page in the first picture is showing the active play and the actual event page itself is showing to total time including the settlement/redemption stage

Hmm i think it was only for that stage but the abyssal treasure will still continue for two more days. Next stage of mini game put there will change

Hey all! I have a question. Am I blind or instead of winning HQ skin in Fair Chance (fair token) we are getting just rss? I won rss 3 times now, but I did not reach the limit on any of rewards. And there no rss in bubbles. So that mean there actually no HQ skin prize on the pool? 😅😅😅

This is actually the way. If they are a much stronger alliance just burn all the opponents weak/smaller joiners first to the point that they can't send marches with behemoths. Half the problem solved 🤔

If you want, type up a feedback about your experience regarding the loot drop rate in various stages of the events, such as our current stage two, and how they could improve it (might I suggest, "no more gacha pulls"? lol)

If you don't feel like it, totally cool, but the odds seem to mirror all their other RNG, and they stink

On level 1 I was getting rss only after I reached the limit on other rewards. This is weird

I'll have to look further into the rules to see if there was anything stated they would be replacing prizes with rss when all displayed prizes have been gained, but I don't know that there was.

Whenever I see their chances at getting some drop that I want I remind myself:

"Sotf chests have stated 1% of getting hq skin. I easily pulled few hundreds times already and never got any. Noone of my friends got any as well :D"
