The game has become too resource intensive now. I am talking about hardware resources in phone or tablet/iPad or PC. The game used to run smoothly in my older iPad (gen 6 iPad) but now it is lagging heavily even for normal dailies. Events like SvS/RR/AD are unplayable since we experience frequent crashes. On PCs, unless we invest on top-end gaming PCs, it is impossible to play the game without any lag. Devs really need to look into these and fix it. I am not planning to buy a new device just so I can play the game

The fact that we have a series of popularity contests which reinforce this with things like betting atmospheres, rose giving, and even negatively impactful such as raids and bounties, means that we are transferring that very same thing into what is meant to be an enjoyable form of entertainment.

And in some regions, kids as young as 13 can play this game. Think of the impact upon them, when this type of thing even had full grown adults acting foolish sometimes

There's not only an element of personal accountability which needs to be present among us all, but a level of empathy and concern from other community members regarding the very real impacts of our behaviors in this game, both upon ourselves and others.
For some, this is an escape from reality, where for others, this is the reality.

Actually, this is as old as online gaming. I still remember my first voice chat in a MP shooter. The huge difference to what these mobile games brought is: You only paid for the game once.
There was only the chance of losing your sanity to a 13 years old, but not all your savings and the education money for your children. Even so if you went full "pro pc master race gamer".

And even before online gaming, you had this with things like TCGs. Getting your butt kicked by some kid whose parents could buy them single Magic or Pokemon cards and whatever while we played with whatever we could trade.
It's a compound thing, and there's always going to be someone who spends more and has more and does more and wins most

Doesn't mean the company or ones like it are right for intentionally marketing it this way, but it does mean that they're - as I said to someone else earlier - a symptom of the larger problem, which is a lack of responsible and reasonable regulation overall for the market in terms of how things can be developed and marketed to players.

On the other side, considering what I've learned so far, it could very well be that they never deleted that event data (storage is basically free these days you know) and a single flag was set by error or accident.

There are several things which sound like they need to change for Desert whatever lol

The matching needs to be divided for live or auto, monster - in my opinion - needs at least three to five chances daily (in order to also allow whatever they pretend is matchmaking requirements to balance out across available times and instances more efficiently), and overall there's still lag and bugs and such for people.

There's probably so many more improvements people could think of, like specific rewards they would want to see, or something.

Make the above suggested improvements, improve reward items and store items, offer small bonus rewards for achievements and milestones in system mail ("congrats on ten kills, here's [reward]"), but still have mtx for things like additional monster chances, +10% atk/leth/h/def as human, -10% building durability for monster. Things of that sort. Cap their purchases daily, only allow stacking to a certain amount in backpack, but watch the money come in

People would basically be competing more for milestones and achievement clout, on top of ranking and purchasing in the event store.

30ish states? Let's say 30x300 - 9k players. Let's say 50% of them care enough about the event to play it. 4.5k. then you split them by time zone for active session of play - less than 1k peeps left for one of the 5 major zones. And they are gonna be split between humans and monsters.

You should ask for smaller state group to get more free chances I guess to play as monster

In the last update from SoS on feedback they said they would allow players to convert frags from one behemoth skin to a general frag to use on another skin so people aren’t stuck with a bunch on each and no way to use them. SoS agreed to do this and you can already convert those frags in recycling to a general frag. The issue is they have not yet update to let you use them to activate a skin using the frags you have plus the general frags to get to 100.

That's a fair point, and not everything has the same "rate" of correction. Things can take years or days, depending on the issue and whether or not the devs feel it is worthwhile or potentially lucrative to include.

Honestly, Seth, in some cases, I wonder if it's that certain things we want aren't being sold to them in a way that appeals. Sort of like how they try to sell us stuff and it's hit or miss

What I mean by "sold" is that feedback, in a lot of ways, is difficult because sometimes we'll have the very detailed stuff that talks about ratios and conversions and exactly what we want as a majority community.
And sometimes we even see that stuff in some fashion.

But other times, there's "this game sucks, fix it or I quit" and like .. okay? But what sucks about it? What can be fixed about those things which suck so they suck less?

And I'm by no means saying we're at fault as players for how we construct stuff

I guess I just feel like the devs understand things in terms of what a business or corporation would naturally prioritize, but they aren't thinking of our enjoyment so much as our engagement and desire to spend money. So even though we want stuff because it will make the game more enjoyable and playable and fun, we basically, I feel like, have to sell that to them as something which gains.

Maybe I misunderstood something in the last five years, but since they won't give me my dev chat to correct any errors, it's hard to say.

I mean, I read here and in cs replies daily that the frustration is understood. Finally do something about it! Other companies achieve that as well. It can be achieved if the will is there. But it seems like the status quo is more precious to them.

I'm not sure why, but seems odd for sure. I'd probably recommend planting a bug stamp on it and trying your luck in the #🐞︱bug-reporting-bot route. Gives you an excuse to bug CS regarding it too

It's not a bug, it's a design feature. Specific coding has to be done to enable it.

The buttons they like to put there are.. questionable. We should realistically have a setting to have our options there for a shortcut, would be such an improvement in my opinion.

It's a promoted event, i'd imagine it would be the same for any other they invested in, like the zippos for instance; they invested that to promote high revenue for the event.

Erm ..I'll just describe what happened. You draw conclusions.

Three statues were put up. Players could send a fake March onto it. The game back then had no restrictions on type of troops or formations, and there were different optimal settings for defence & offence.

Whoever managed to stay on a statue for a specific time would win that spot.

The issue was - defence optimal formation could be broken by all top 1k players of the game if they knew best formation.

And unlike this game, only about a 100 shared that info.

Folks collaborated, on timing when to defeat certain players - so that they couldn't hit again (resting period between attempts) - 3 people were 5 minutes from winning.

Funplus shut the event down. Updated game. Extended the event timer by 2 weeks. And changed battle mechanics so that the specific formation the top 1k used no longer worked

The biggest Chinese Spender won after that.

The top 3 people who were 5 minutes from winning lodged a protest. They were told that if they deserved a spot, they could spend to win.

They have meticulously taken away agency from players via enforced 60-20-20, top down damage and 8 behemoths all sharing same skills

None of this spoonfed babysitting used to occur before.

Oh it was p2w back then as well, but occasionally they allowed a win for smaller wallets who really knew this crap.

We didn't have the concept of lead stats back then. Averaged stats applied.

People who pay should be ahead. They should also find it easier and faster as they use money instead of time. Thats all perfectly normal. F---plus needs to get away from this also meaning that they're the only ones finishing prize tracks or hitting max prizes. That stuff should be accessible to anybody

It never used to be like this, where there was a minimum point milestone to hit for the top rewards in events. Used to be top rank gets X reward, but due to low numbers this has been looked into it seems.
This is something I'm sure the entire player base is against and heavily disagrees with.

But on that topic I've not seen any of these thrown in #📋︱feedback-reporting for a while if you would like to start up this spotlight again. I'd be first to upvote

Most mobile games run where you pay to avoid playing if you like. Or pay to avoid ads. I can accept this even if i don't like it much.

What i dislike is that you can simply pay for prizes that are inaccessible without paying, and that there are so many that grant an advantage.

This game, and i assume all their other titles are on what i would consider the extreme end of this. Many other games i play mobile don't do this. I got rank 3 in a game i picked up a month ago for one of the events just by playing normally
