@merry scroll have you guys checked the prices of Apex reward store items compared to the amount of currency players are being given in the event? The prices are inflated enough that 100% of players won't get even a single 1 of the most expensive item - the gold essence at 100k per. People in top 50 out of the 75k+ registered might earn 50k tokens maybe by end of the tournament in total. That's half of what 1 essence costs. To get 5, a player would need 500k.

Is anything being changed from what the event gave for ptr?

That’s the issue, it’s only for the biggest spenders unfortunately. The grouping system was broken from the start allowing strongest to group in C.

If you open too long before the trap or other events and it runs out it doesn't always change your marches back to the old cap automatic. It's an annoying little bug. Best open a few seconds before it starts as trap and the Pacific rim event last 30 minutes but last rally is at 25 minutes

Apex or whatever you want to call it is terrible. The notion that a strong account can get wiped out by a smaller account because one got to a garage and one didnt is absurd. Also bring back the auto feature, so we aren’t forced to waste 10 plus mins to complete a single ticket.

The feature was disabled purely for the apex as it's a tournament and you don't want people to advance because of bots.. just hold on little longer, at the 19/8 qualifications end and whoever did not pass, resumes the casual mini game with the auto feature

When that player clicked to register, their raid score qualified them for group B

You couldn't actually register for a specific grouping, but you could mess with registration by choosing not to register at all - which automatically placed anyone who did that into Group C.

Weaker players move up to feed the stronger players in each phase of battle. They're not actually meant to do well. They're meant to believe they might be able to.
This means they might do things like increase their purchase power, engage more often in events for those rewards, and be in the game longer. All for the same result: the Finals will have the same faces we always see in the last leg of these things.
Good for them, but promoting that it has any benefit to the smaller players is, in my opinion, naive.

The best way to sell a $7000 feature is to stack a player that doesn't have it against someone who does and make them believe that's the only mechanic in the way.

The Pacific Rim event sucks something really gross. The lack of frags given despite the amount spent for each skin really shoots the developers in their own foot. There are very few players that are willing to invest a small fortune into something that has hardly any effect on any fight. They should try to make it at least feel attainable for a decent amount of spenders, which would actually increase their revenue. The way they have it now, many will just completely stop spending for this particular item because the barrier of entry is too high

In some aspect of that, there is the "sos required you to do so much" and real life takes a lot of time, so I can understand some whales r4/5 being really busy with all the events to register on time for their own self. There are a load of solutions.

1: simple occupation of towers or cc in either state earns merits, whether you're attacked or not. Gonna adjust this a little. The points are only scored for 1 march, you don't get multiple. That allows for 80 people to get merits if there is no fighting and the opposition has built nothing
2: personal merits for hq hits come back
3: we can destroy alliance towers for personal merits.
4: winning grants a flat bonus to personal merits.
5: all of the above

This issue with duel merits and enemy not appearing as been an issue since the first release, players have been begging for some sort of change in the scoring system.

If the enemy doesn't fight for their own buildings, all alliance members should be awarded 1 merit point (regardless if they showed up or not)
Players who garrisoned the buildings should be awarded an equal distribution of merit points as to not cause internal conflict.
The score during the fight should be equally distributed amongst all players who garrisoned any building or tower.

That would be fairer. Every alliance member gains... I'm going to say 1000 merits for a win. Every alliance member gains 5000 for the simple act of occupying a tower/cc. They don't even have to stay in it, just occupy it and leave.

Well yeah match making haven't reach to players expectations, but many optimisation have been done over it. But complexity in alliance strengths is very dynamic . Coming this event, I just locked a strong player in green mist and won 🥹, I'm still overwhelmed from it. But I hope match making work on seperating over power difference and balance matches

No optimisation has ever been done about matchmaking. Matchmaking is only ever fair near the bottom of things. Got 2 alliances with about 6 people registered for RR? Matching is probably fair.

At any other time no. The matching is spender vs non spender. Thats the deal. You see it all the time and it hasn't changed in 4 years

If you use old gfx there is a hand tapping on your intel. First tap closes the hand. Second tap starts the intel. The hand is invisible in new gfx. I raised an ingame bug report because it is rage inducing.

If you wanna avoid it, use search rather than the radar

Oh no, so sorry. Please spend money and try again. Thats what TA are. Fair but still rng (making up numbers) all the initial stats would be the same. Rider lethality would always be 15%. Hunter health would always be 6%. Etc no matter what you'd always get the best stat bonus possible. You might not get the combination you want but it'll always be the same number.

Then you throw away all the stat based skills and only offer the ultra rares. Once more you migt not get the perfect one but every piece of gear is good for 1 hero or another

Just about every event you gotta assume the last 24 hours are for some sort of tally up. The times are rarely if ever correct. They should fix it, but its no longer something I'd rely on or risk

It was meant to reduce that. It... kinda does. But it doesn't fix the death of 6 million troops in one hit which they still need to sort out
