That said, the late notice is a lot for people. It was bad enough that so many received the weird 1400 time slot. The adjustment is not the issue here, it's the timing of the adjustment.
Because this has been an ongoing concern with the 1400 time across multiple events, the developers are either trying to funnel alliances into an underperforming time (which should tell them something about how to adjust their times), or it's something in the code that's causing an error to select that time erroneously.
Either way, it's a known problem by this point, so adjusting it should have been done previously with a notice to players that the mechanic was experiencing weirdness and could be adjusted as it's improved for players.

It should have been done Monday, tbh, potentially with a Becca comm.

We were adjusted up to 18, which is ideal for us. I definitely understand people being really really unhappy with what's happened, though. Especially the ones who got adjusted to 12, got times they didn't even pick in the initial selection, or all of the above.

Again, it's my feeling that, because the game selecting 14 as a time for various events has been a known concern for some time, when they do newer events where that has also been shown to be occurring, we should have some sort of communication at the beginning of that week that says it's being monitored and could potentially be adjusted.

But they also need to not be doing things two hours prior to the first City occ. Again, I get that some things are actively adjusted while the staff is in the office, and they're literally on the other side of the world from some of us so the timing isn't always ideal, but these are things which the company is aware are issues and should have been delegating into whichever PMs workload for their team.

Over 2/3s of our alliance didn’t get to play today because of this. I sent out as many notices as I could, but it was too late. On top of it, we are matched with an alliance who’s bp is twice everyone else’s bp combined.

Last night when I went to bed Nexus started at 1400. I set my alarm to be there. My alliance members were notified and all planned to be there at 1400. I went to sleep, others went to sleep or to work. Imagine our surprise when we got online to find that KG has switched the starting time to 2 hours earlier than was scheduled. The majority of our alliance missed the event because of this ill thought out change to the starting time. You don’t change times once events have started.
A message saying we have switched your starting time to one you have selected. Uhm nope, we did not choose 1200. And why would you change things after informing people of their start time? It makes no sense. And as for the compensation, it does not make up for missing out on clearing the lvl 2 city or villages putting the alliance a day behind and at a serious disadvantage and affecting Migo Merit opportunities. It does not make up for losing out on a day of points when other alliances have earned them. It does not make up for your lack of planning events, lack of thorough testing before rolling things out, nor does it make up for the lack of quality in game play due to constant bugs, lags and crashing.

That unlikely for a long time. If you notice, it took them a while before the zodiac statue permits appeared in crates and even then its not all; FP do this thing which is annoying as hell, in that depending on the shop and event one crate will contain a spread of items, where as another is a limited number e.g. just look at decorations and frame crates, or crates in the pearl store vs the new hero badges.

I'm guessing you're relatively new to the game though?

Again, more FP nonsense. These statue packs used to contain 8 crates, with a statue max level of 10, and 15 crates to open. You could even sometimes get a permit from about 12-13 crates

This is FPs equivalent of what you see in stores with shrinkflation (only it really doesn't' work here). Even these spectacle statues now have increased levels. I swear, they are taking the proverbial, and its getting worse. Their levels of disrespect for players is at an all time high and I just dont' see it decreasing ever. Its almost like they have this dumb idea that if they give less and charge more it will maintain their revenue stream. Its the worst business model I've ever witnessed and everyone except them can see it. They have zero concept of what the word incentivise means.

But then, those with pockets deeper than the Laurentian Abyss just keep buying and promoting the companies morally corrupt behaviours

I've made my feedback suggestion for improving feedback and I'll continue to point out where I see duplicate feedback. I agree with cerb on this that the quality of the feedback channel is lowered by duplicates, even if it is collated over time as has been indicated.

The collation doesn't matter, as it's relevant for a few weeks and anything that doesn't get driven down the line is again lost after the weekly cycle.

Let's say we get 1k votes on A, 60 votes on B. ..

The two go to top 10. A gets a comment from developer feedback in 2 to 3 months. B remains top feedback for another month but gets less a priority due to any number of reasons ranging from it occurring within a smaller subgroup of states(like genskip) or affecting a minority of players.

It will crop up again, and be fed through cycle again and nothing happens to it. Wasting everyone's time while at it.

All they need to do is maintain a thread for recording resolved and open feedback. Segregate by class such as event/item/payment/gui/what have you. Change status as per feedback and prioritise via sorting of votes and/or immediate relevancy for closure decided upon by any group of mods.

But that they don't want cuz then the impetus will be on developers to provide any answers at all.

Around 1 to 1.5k individual attempts of whatever you were gambling at opening or spinning. Boost might tweak that probability. Otherwise at 0.2% it's 95% chance of grabbing at least 1 success in around 1500 attempts.

Given that there is no actual value attached to any of the in game items, we would have to first assign some sort of value to each thing.
So pearls are obviously valuable but because they are handed out with more frequency now, we have to assume they're less valuable than keys, pinballs, fortune spheres, etc.

Each of those is likely to have their own assigned value as well.

Something like 3 blissful keys for 30 pearls would be a trade off, because it still keeps people fulfilling the task bar and engaging in Blissful, without the express intention to purchase. Instead they engage for keys to trade, which then stimulates not one but two events/stores

It's also important that the devs be informed of whether there would be intentions to cap trades at all in these exchanges, because people could and would be likely to buy into those initial events, just to have stuff to trade thinking they're circumventing the game.
While that is good for the economy of the game in theory, in practice that furthers an imbalance and could work to devalue associated items.

Tactical emotes and stickers are not adding to the game experience or QoL for players

Consequence

Vanity items such as stickers and tactical emotes are fun items, but they don't add anything to our experience and in some cases contribute to the negative Quality of Life.
They are repetitive, uninspired, and provide no use to players.
Because they are given as rewards, they are unavoidable, and players who engage more often now have an abundance of the same stickers in their backpacks.

Solution

Stop issuing stickers and tactical emojis. Allow players a trade to redeem their abundance of stickers and emojis for other high-quality items.
If a vanity aesthetic is needed such as stickers or emojis, to increase the social aspect of the game, then have a separate sticker/emoji store where people can offload their abundance of stickers in trade for others they don't have, or other items. This also allows one location for stickers and emojis, a potential wider variety, and the capacity for future adaptation/optimization.

Short run, repeating events like Blissful Bags, Value Slots, etc all feature mechanics which redeem any unused items for things like rss. This doesn't incentivize players to engage.

Consequence
Features with short run events and automatic redemption will continue to lose engagement, eventually becoming obsolete and contributing to the marked reduction in monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue patterns, as there is no way for a majority of the player base to engage with them reasonably without purchase, and no incentive to invest either time or money at all.

Solution

Allow players an area to trade their unused event items for Pearls
Example: a f2p can achieve all tasks in Blissful Bags task bar, but doesn't feel like investing in the event. They can, however, trade their earned keys for Pearls in another location, so they choose to do that instead at a ratio of 1 Key:10Pearls
Now the player is more likely to engage in the Festival shops, as well as events like Blissful in the future.

Back in the early days we used to have an event every few weeks to win an hq skin. There used to be some anticipation to see the event and what we could get. Now we are bombarded with events, mostly the same ones, at the wrong time of the year for the event. We even get a repeated one which received the most downvotes ever only a few weeks ago, so feedback voting is a complete waste of time.

In a way it is helpful as I don’t feel any need to participate in them now as I have grown immune to them. There is no discussion in the alliance or the state about them. The randomness of the rewards if you do pay to play in these events is ridiculous as you never know what you are buying.

The best thing is that you can ignore the events and buy things for a lot less afterwards if you want, and know exactly what it is you are paying for. I would encourage people to do this because by spending on the events you are only encouraging them to keep up with this ridiculous schedule.

I strongly believe that feedback voting only shows the players interest in ideas to them, but they have no intention of actually giving us the things we want as we want them. It's like saying "okay we see people are talking about stickers" and despite it being negative, they just see that it aligns with some work they've done for the last three months on sticker access.
And everything is done in advance, so the things we're complaining about now we're already considerations months ago. Yes this also means the roses thing was an intentional repeat because they don't want to figure out another form of popularity contest.
Eventually they might, and then sell it back to us as "hearing" us about the roses.

That said, I do also believe that sometimes, and this isn't a criticism, players still think that video games are made for the players by people who love games. This is a business and the one thing this company has to do is make money, so they'll do it however they can. They won't ever balance the mechanics or give us something just because they're grateful for us. Because they're not. They're just grateful that they can take these profits and immediately put them toward their other 12 projects of the same type of game.

Absolutely agree Liannin but the most effective feedback we can give them is not to blindly buy any old dross they serve up. The recent pinball event is an example. Many here complaining and saying there should be flippers, me included. Yet some of the same people bought the bundles anyway. I just don’t get it.

And no, FunPlus doesn't really "do" conventions. They'll occasionally announce things at showcases or more of a developer-oriented shindig, but they lack the diversity within the types of games they make to actually present well in a panel toward a fan base in regards to q&a, or even a booth.
They don't make fps or enriched open world RPGs, and even if they bank on one of their subsidiaries to sell one, there still isn't enough content for them to do more than say "we still just make the same copy paste gacha rts base builder mtx because it's cheap to make and super lucrative"
