1; the stupid on screen button. Get rid of it. Do not want ever

3: it feels WAY too much for whales. You cannot hit a whales truck, but they can smack yours around. I don't know the best way to fix this one, but it doesn't help

There are plenty of trucks to hit even for f2p players. You just need patience to find them and try at different times of the day

The event is good, it rewards active players that want maximise their growth

For every 5 trucks with actual useful stuff i sent, and probably most other non whales players too, only 1 IF LUCKY gets to arrive with half or maybe less than half of what it was actually in it, useful things, not the garbage rss and such. So how is it even useful? Except for the big guys who can peacefully send their trucks and this is just more free stuff for them 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t get some events like these where the people who need the stuff the less are the ones getting the most of it, like the dino rallies too for example, maxed behes getting the top 10s rewards 🤣

1. I've done this with enough bundles myself to determine most suck, and many are just reskins.
2. I suspect many are discovering this, and now why F+ hides the rewards of certain bundle levels because if players could see it (we were able to before), many would not buy the 1st to get to the 2nd as they'd more easily be able to tell the rewards aren't worth it.

Every player is going to be different but in the end the bundle with the polys and 180 speedups were the only thing that made sense to me because I'm in aggressive troop training mode.

Again, this is going to vary from player to player and where they are in their SOS progression

Just about everything collection related is awful. Spend $10k just so your collection is 1 point higher than the other guy. If its not you miss 10% stats. At the same time, spend $10k to make your collection better and the other guy didn't bother nearly as much and you wasted $9k

That's a connection issue between your device and the server.
But it's not that simple. It's not necessarily the connection but a matter of your device to the server and the server being able to process your request along with hundreds upon thousands of other players.

Think like this.
Many phones will stop an app from working if a "process" is taking to long.

You the player is a "process" on the sos Server. If your request is too demanding, the server drops your request. Error code.
Or.
It limits its processing potential for your request. Red wifi symbol

While that might be correct and a great explanation/analogy and example, SOS should display the appropriate error message, and several applications typically do in this scenario.

If the server is unable to process a request due to being under strain, tell us that and stop having GMs and mods insist it is us in a way that players might understand it to mean something is wrong with their local network or WiFi. Just say "the server is busy, try back later", but this is admitting fault on the part of FunPlus, and we've discussed that here before

If FunPlus wanted to lock characters to Trucks (I still don't know why), here is an alternative to how that could have worked:

1. There was a water event once where we couldn't use anything beyond Gen 1-2 characters. It may have actually been just Gen 1.
2. Since X percent of players are not using these characters for anything except farming, or Travis to save on stamina, these are the characters that should have been locked and made exclusive to Trucks, not the characters they are likely to need in major events.
3. The characters should still be available to be used for farming, and reducing stamina dependencies, meaning stop locking characters to Trucks.

Alternatively, due away with Trucks and give players another way to exchange these rewards amongst each other.

I partially got this idea from sending Trucks out this morning, for the first time since it was introduced with zero behemoths, zero craft, zero vehicles and my Gen 1-2 characters, and then sharing it in AC and SC and inviting F2P and players just starting off to hit them for the RSS

2. "Past few months" and "recent regression" feel like an unintended contradiction because in my mind I see an overlapping of timelines, which would make one statement not true.
3. Using loose qualitative data from this server and others, I struggle with whether players would feel they've been receiving adequate compensation over the last few months. My sensibilities tell me no, no they won't agree with that statement at all but you should poll them and find out. That's quantitative though.

1. The compensation for the "BUG" is better. I was expecting 100VIP points and they made it 300VIP. That's HELL OF AN IMPROVEMENT.
2. Ask your CS guys to stop sending copy & paste emails now. No point to blame our Internet, cache, game repair if you know devs screwd up. Just stop it! It's kins of silly.
3. When players were affected because of the "BUG" on once every 4 weeks event and shouting for help, not even a SINGLE MOD showed up here in this channel to respond or assure players that someone is looking into it.

This compensation doesn’t make things better, it actually makes things worse as it shows the contempt with which FP view their player base if that is the value they ascribe to that bug yesterday. They really have no idea. It costs them absolutely nothing to give ‘virtual items’ as compensation. By continuing to deny my right to the discussion I won on 5 September 2023, I believe this illustrates a falsehood on the part of the developers.

No but like I was saying to a former alliance member earlier, I would absolutely agree to some terms if they're concerned about bad press on my end. Number one, it would be flattering on a whole different level if that was ever actually a concern because I gotta tell you, I don't pay attention to who's paying attention.
But number two, it's completely logical for a company who has the issues FunPlus has to be careful regarding how their chats are conducted and with whom. While I'm sure most of the reticence is based on my self-admitted spending habits, or lack thereof, I do believe they also just don't know that they could have any control over the conversation.

Nah, Chris Petrovic is... Well, he's just some dude. Sure, his joining FunPlus coincides with some bad decisions within the game and those have spiralled out into whatever this thing we're playing is trying to pass for. But he's one dude, like most other dudes in this industry.
My distaste for him is mainly business-related, not personal.

You could plunk the CEO of Epic in his place and I'd still be like "oh, it's a dude. Interchangeable with the last dude, just in a different shirt with a different name".

Because the main issue with this game, and games like that, is inherently their development and the lack of regulations surrounding that development, as well as every facet of marketing and implementation which accompanies that development.

A monster was created years ago when people realized they could make money off of stuff in games. And it's taken until the last few years for anyone to actually realize it may be a problem.

Not to mention this company seems very behind on what is happening in the industry, so their responses to what their competitors and bigger, more relevant game companies are doing (which is taking their players), often comes late if at all.
They simply cannot stay relevant and user friendly enough to compete with even direct mobile title competitors. Even when they release titles through a shell or subsid, they die quickly because of FunPlus's methodology and lack of willingness to lean into their communities.

I have not gotten an answer yet if this is permanent or something that isn't resolved yet since it's almost a certainty MK0 did not follow a typical test/feedback/iterate - repeat cycle process.

My sensibilities say it's temporary and MK0 isn't quite ready for prime time, but this also assumes FunPlus is a "sensible" company.

If this game gave us more flexibility with certain schedules, I would absolutely put more effort into playing it.
I resent that some events are such that I can't schedule them for different days, or that others have such limited times they're available in game like Rain of Riches.

I also resent that we have poorly maintained servers which host multiple games, resulting in a hideous amount of lag on top of the bug which are in game. I'm sure that makes it difficult to correct as well. A company which makes a game I would want to play would maintain their stuff well, test things, and ensure their product always meets the highest standard of quality possible.

There's a certain amount of cost efficiency I will accept, but then there comes to a point where it's really just cheap and lazy

This is a major problem they're aware of, maybe more so than before, and it's one area I would encourage people to actually keep pushing for them to address.

We went from 1.21.40 will fix the crashes (I was not optimistic) to FunPlus actually making it worse than before. I cannot recall a more unstable version of SOS, but others have been here longer than me.

So this is about our state intel I don’t understand why we have plasma already unlocked

I know I heard that state intel in later states are skipping but 🤔 but it didt fix in our intel

In the process they are throwing everything at you at 10x the normal speed for what oldest states got.

They don't want you playing. They want you paying. Pay or perish.

Some morons here will tell you all of that doesn't matter.

But do your research and decide if it's worth sticking it out in the game.

As an example - there were 30 states in the zone of 714-792 after state mergers.

6 of those 30 are in the lowest activity threshold within 1-792. And of the 3 which were close to being top overall, 1 closing down shop with all its leads moving out, the other has had folks quit. The third was hit with bans for 50% of their leads from folks "breaking ToS"

They don't give a hoot about new states except for burning out the wallets.

And a few here will tell you it doesn't matter. Point and laugh is what we do with those.

The go to move is simply to hit joiners when losing. 1-5 hits, all troops gone, good luck keeping them motivated for the next event.

Their settlement defence buffs are laughable compared to what one solo can dish out with these heroes

Svs etc leave them in enlistment for a month or more

And they are taken out to only end up there in 1-5 hits again

There can never be a fix to matching at least not if events remain organized the way they are with the current time slots. The hypothesis was proven out and then they said it in one of their community notes

Lots of people playing you'll always get a bad matchup one way or the other. Smaller groups of 10 or less seem to get a fairer go of it
