Throwdown rewards are better than they used to be, they are still bad because of miniscule amounts but main problem is somewhere else- along with changed rewards they also increased event difficulty 10 times making it not worth the effort needed to get those rewards 🤣

It's stupid how I've had to label messages as "Part 1/3, Part 2/3, Part 3/3" and such just to be able to get the info out which needs to be sent. Not everyone uses discord, or has access to a variety of comms apps just to chat. And trying to have all this said in AC where people are chatting doesn't really help.

I think one of my favorite things about how well this game runs, is when I go from wilderness to my settlement or vice versa, and not only does the game freeze on the clouds, it cuts off my antivirus and my game manager.
So fun. I'm not at all concerned that this game routinely cuts off my antivirus, and that's not even remotely part of the reason I have stopped purchasing completely as well as won't use the diamond store.

And I would think storage issues except I'm only at 86g of my 128g storage.

And it definitely isn't my 5g with full signal either

Would be nice if any of these "resource updates" and the multiple patches I've had to download since the update actually fixed anything.

It's because of their league system.
They put a strong and a weak alliance in each group, and 2 in between.

There is a reason duty rate exists. Its actually a valid gameplay element. Getting everything back instantly would mean it makes more sense never to heal anything and simply restore your troops immediately.

you should have enlistment up to the end of svs event. Once Monday comes around you should get all back from the enlistment. Enlistment does not add anything after Monday.

With all the troop amounts and hospital caps, all those buffs for healing should have an impact. Right now state buff adds like 5% to real healing time. Also add that faster buff after svs event ends. All is cool, nobody wins anything and yet everyone is happier because useless tasks are avoided

It's such a weird dream to want every single high spender to just stop for one month and actually mean it. I get it, the devs like to release things that require spending to upgrade and can really make or break battles, and people don't want to let down their families. But hear me out: if the devs are getting positive reinforcement for their shenanigans because spenders are spending, then they think they're just adhering to the status quo. This results in more bundles on increasing cost and decreasing value, which negatively affects even the families these spenders want to help.
So what if they just... Idk .. stopped. Said "you know what? No, we can slug it out with what we have because this is not worth our money.

And then everyone clapped, and Ryan Reynolds gave me a big hug and said "Lia, you're dreaming. Time to wake up."

I've always run a casual alliance for that reason, because this game was very clear about its intentions from the start. We only do events we want to when they fit into our schedules. We don't spend unless we feel like it or want something fancy for ourselves. Most of us don't spend at all, and enjoy a peaceful existence just trying to be an asset to our state family and do our best to support each other.
We aren't the strongest, but we get back up every time.

In gaming, around 2001-2002, when a specific game dev decided their new console game needed an expensive controller and skins. Play that same game now, and you still die within seconds of spawning.
People blame Blizzard or Activision or whomever, but I know that one game was the first time I have ever seen a $250 flight controller and skins resulting in the type of environment we now have.

So basically those who don't mind live service as we have it, and those who want to be able to buy full versions of games without having stuff thrown in their faces in terms of subscriptions and packs just to play.

Now the downside of all that is really starting to show, when gamers more and more are deciding "hey, we can't afford this anymore, what happened to discs or actual ownership?"

I genuinely don’t mind game companies charging money for their products. But the product has to match the outlay, otherwise that’s an exploitative relationship. FP demands money without putting up their side of the bargain: that the content is good, it works and is value for money.

Smaller companies, and mobile gaming companies, found some great success, but they've been sort of trending higher since well before covid anyway just due to the ease of access and higher stressors in daily life.
But once we were first forced to stay home, and then started really playing games as a way to stay in contact, you'll notice a sharp uptick in this type of thing.
FunPlus has always done this, however, but because of all of the above, they're getting the same fallout from the behavior; rapidly declining revenues, less and less success with titles and releases, and more reliance on big names and acquisitions to save them.
