I've found growth isn't crippled. It just doesn't keep up with the big boys in the slightest. It is pretty continuous, it just doesn't make you competitive and even if we did empty our backpack, we still wouldn't be competitive anyway

Is that what you think happened? or what you where told? What actually happened is that a new bug was introduced as a result of other content, that allowed players to progress at rate. They then closed that loophole (bug) so that others can't. It wasn't "unlocked"

Observation:
There are not enough bacon related objects in game. Bacon is a staple within many countries and it should be respected. Some cultures even worship bacon on an altar, as they believe it provides nutrients and sustenance to their lands.
Consequence:
Players that have never experienced life with bacon, have never truly lived. It is believed that Bacon can even help to cure common ailments (Scientific Research Pending), as well as bring joy to the breakfast and brunch tables of many cultures around the world.
Suggested Solution:
Introduce the following items:
• In newer states. A state wide 20% Bacon Aroma Buff, where it provides increased food production for 48 hours.
• In older states. A state wide 10% Crispy Bacon Buff, where troops are energised and feel engorged, providing increased health and lethality.
• A bacon inspired HQ
• A Kevin Bacon Statue, made from strips of Bacon that can be levelled providing an Oasis of Bacon around ones settlement (also an ode to the 6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon)
• Bacon Sentinels
• Bacon Decorations
• A new event that produces Bacon capsules for purchase of the above items, called the Baconator.

Well it's materials aren't available in game via joint ops etc, only 10 exchanges per week otherwise. And the unlocking of the carrier itself is based on maxing out a relatively more expensive version as they put it themselves. It could cost 1 mat, it will still cost more than aircraft alone. Cuz you first need to work on aircraft, then the carrier + second aircraft.

They can say whatever they want. In game material cost, time as well as $ cost are gonna be higher when it's unlocking is based upon prior progress.

When calculating the price, do you take into account the cost of obtaining the currency? In this example, pearls are harder to obtain, rarely from f2p activities but dd coins can be obtained in a decent amount by simply doing dailies.
