I think it's more that they fix the bugs which affect the players in a positive manner and don't fix the bugs which affect players in a negative manner. I love me some bug fixes, but prioritizing one over the other is poor service, and it happens frequently enough that many of the players feel it lacks coincidence.

If a "good" bug has to go away in order to also fix a "bad" one, then they can just say that, but we don't actually see anything more tangible than "they corrected the mistake that was improving our experience in game instead of fixing the huge list of problems". It shows a lack of priority, or at least misappropriated priority, and starkly illustrates their focus on profit over player.
