yes but mobile gaming is largely unregulated especially internationally... These issues with FP have gone on for years like Syclo said but it does seem to be increasing this past year like the number of bugs and failing events, pricing schemes. Folks here for years having been trying to address these things. The behavior does speak clearly to FP's character. Not uncommon for them to remove things and most times not tell folks (happened just a few weeks ago to many). You could always provide info to the legal team representing players on this issue with screenshots, etc... their email is on their website.

true, many of these games are interconnected or collaborators, partners, etc. but very few cases have been reviewed legally - internationally. TOS cant overwrite the law. Only something like 6% of all cases even within their own country made it infront of judge and those that are like ah said are drawing alot of attn that this industry and the player communities are being abused.. not by all games but many

Changing the strength of a purchased item is super common. Any competitive game does it pretty frequently. Tabletop wargames change stuff all the time as well and you bought hard plastic for that

What they mostly don't do though is rifle through your items taking things off you after purchase because thats a heck of a lot like actual theft and looks really really bad

I was playing another game recently and was triple charged. No services or packs delivered either. Went to game even though the purchases were proven seconds apart they did nada. I charged back through Google play.. the game took all my stuff and put me in debt. I just laugh and quit playing.. this is a common practice with these games

I would suggest that they go outside and smell the fresh air. As frustrating at things can get, it is proven that you can boost your seratonin levels by getting a little sun in your life. I asked because even though Mental Health Day has passed, gaming can be something which can either boost or deplete mental health for people. So it's a support thing.

I would probably say a few things:

• don't play games based on advertisements as many of them are false or misleading; look at the most negative reviews instead by sorting them in app stores based upon low star ratings, those are often the most honest.

• consider various forms of gaming, from tabletop, to pen & paper, console, mobile, and even Live Action Role Playing; are you interested in a social environment, a fantasy role, an escape from the daily doldrum, etc.

• don't spend money if you don't have money to spend; games by and large of various genres and types don't have a great return on investment, but some give a better return than others.

• take the time to have breaks between gaming, because addiction is very real; if you're concerned you may be addicted, there are resources to help and counselors/therapists these days are becoming more versed in helping with game addiction.

Remember when devs gave us a crappy migo with the worst prizes ever and felt this was an okay replacement for a full MIGO, even though we are literally going to miss out on 2 sets of skins (because it is impossible to obtain enough MIGO points to get all rewards)... which is incredibly relevant now that skin collections are a thing and can push rally leaders to be able to compete with other rally leaders that had the opportunity to win all prizes.
**And I'm still going to quit if this is not addressed by the end of this MIGO. **

Also, featured leaderboard is still a mess. Alliance duel is a stupid way to rank. Check yourselves

Alliance duels needs removing. Nothing about it is set up right and even active spenders must be annoyed at an event they can't play and have to waste a coin on

Theres spend coin because you don't want to play, or cannot. But duels can force it by the other team simply not showing up. Its so stupid.

Hi Cyan, I fully agree. Whilst behind the scenes there may be some predicted new benefit (unbeknownst to the player base) to introducing this event into the mix, in actuality (in its current form) it’s just been a chore to keep up with. Like you said, there are many outcomes wherein one has to spend - not to advance, but just not to fall behind. I think either the event has to go (my first choice) or has to be significantly overhauled such that it 1) isn’t linked to Migo ranks and or 2) doesn’t penalize a team for the inactions of the opposing team. I know many have mentioned this but thank you for sharing it. I’ll forward it.

Is there an easy way to know ahead of state transfer what a state and alliances within that state are good at so a player can decide where they might best fit for a state transfer? I've checked in state-transfer-merger but don't see anything pinned there or in alliance recruitment and both seem pretty quiet at the moment, no answers to questions yet

I actually watch the rankings list. But the other way is to look at the state and see what the people in that state say. I go and look and find a settlement and click on a decent level person and just ask what tjey like about their state. The rankings can direct you to the more active allainces and states

Pearl event is bad now, their math isnt mathing.
We get 975 pearls from events. Normally we get 2000-3000 pearls from event. Did someone just become the grinch? Why are they doing this ?

May I say why this statement "For the balance of the game" from GM-Ava is not applicable and appropriate in State of Survival. Players progress and find ways to progress faster and become stronger than other players. Be it through completing repeatable tasks such as daily tasks, weekly tasks/ events, monthly events, yearly events, only-one time tasks/ events, SPENDING on the game and/ or through mechanics that the game has to provide. I believe the codes rain/ spree that we recently had was one of the only-one time task/ event. I thought it was an opportunity for ALL players (Free to Play and Spenders) from all around the world to become stronger through the mercy of free codes that were kindly enough shared by certain person and/ or groups. Players (including me) stayed for as long as the duration of the codes spree event, which lasted for hours. In addition to that, this statements are not appropriate due to players, who participated on the codes spree, reported that they used up the rewards they recieved whilst the others, who had yet used their rewards, had theirs taken out. There are also others who still receive their rewards because they claimed their rewards from their mail only AFTER the majority of player got theirs taken out. This in itself cause imbalance and unfairness to the players and the game because one party has benefited from this event, whilst the others have not.

Not sure I understand what you mean by "stays the same..."? Say I'm in 896, I would want to know what states I can transfer to next month. Then I'd have to create an alt(s) in that state(s) and see which one checks all the boxes. No point in me creating an alt in 1024 (making up a number) to only later find out next month I can't go there. I need a list of states that 896 players can transfer to and as of now I only know of one and not sure I want to go there

I am glad you all had your National holiday, but while you were gone, a bug on alliance duals appeared, not all players got their troops back… Due to your absence, it seems to be more of an issue, since it took more then a week and still it wasn’t fully solved for ALL players. When will this fully be solved AND how will these players be compensated?

2. The code rain, the one players loved and gotten all excited about, for the first time the PLAYERS were excited and thrilled. Then FP found out this was a mistake and instead of going to the root of the problem, they decide to take it from the backpacks of the players, while doing so, taking a bit more every now and then, this could have been solved by going to the root and leave the players’ backpacks untouched. How are you going to compensate this all?

3. The roll back caused login problems for a lot of players. And since it was right before SvS warfare stage started, people couldn’t login and gotten zeroed or lost their rank. How are these players going to be compensated?

4. Still we haven’t heard ANYTHING about the special states, are the special states going to be compensated in a way they become regular compared to their (new) matching pool??

5. Rewards throughout the game are outdated, VIP rewards, all stores, most event rewards and special events are just copy paste, where they DID change the number of pearls to be earned (less), but the ranking rewards are still the same. When will the rewards and stores be updated?

I flagged something not dissimilar when they introduced the 'transfer ticket' concept. There has to be a way for people to be able to decide whether the state they are moving too is a good fit for them. Take me as example, we've been through one round of state mergers, our state is dead again as probably many others. IF i decided to jump, I would actually want to know what I was getting myself into other than to know its a 'busy' or 'active' state by their own idiotic measures.

If i don't like it, I want the option of reverting my decision (much like goods and services 14 day refund lol). That said, the transfer concept in other games works very well, the FP implementation of it like everything they do is poor (understatement)

All mobile games use a monitorization model, its based upon a fine balance between content types so they don't neglect their player base and drive them away. Sadly FP abuse this model and the pendulum swings far to the right of it. Its aggressive and abusive, which simply comes down to a top level of greed at the director and if relevant shareholder level.

They also walk a fine like around 'gambling' which is why you've seen a shift towards the diamond store, they can hide behind it without breaching the terms of the app stores, along with the use of increased microtransactions.

The game is currently a hot mess and we hear so little of you guys (basically nothing)….

1. I am glad you all had your National holiday, but while you were gone, a bug on alliance duals appeared, not all players got their troops back… Due to your absence, it seems to be more of an issue, since it took more then a week and still it wasn’t fully solved for ALL players. When will this fully be solved AND how will these players be compensated?
2. The code rain, the one players loved, for the first time the PLAYERS were excited and thrilled. Then FP found out this was a mistake and instead of going to the root of the problem, they decide to take it from the backpacks of the players, while doing so, taking a bit more every now and then, this could have been solved by going to the root and leave the players’ backpacks untouched. How are you going to compensate this all?
3. The roll back caused login problems for a lot of players. And since it was right before SvS warfare stage started, people couldn’t login and gotten zeroed or lost their rank. How are these players going to be compensated?
4. Still we haven’t heard ANYTHING about the special states, are the special states going to be compensated in a way they become regular compared to their (new) matching pool??
5. Rewards throughout the game are outdated, VIP rewards, all stores, most event rewards and special events are just copy paste, where they DID change the number of pearls to be earned (less), but the ranking rewards are still the same. When will the rewards and stores be updated?
6. POW was up at reset, then taken away a few hours later. What happened? Will we get information about this? Compensation for time spend or for players that missed it?
7. More communication was promised, we currently see no communication. IF there is a message, it is send too late, AFTER updates or roll backs are done. Are you going to improve your communication?

As an indication... the alliance I was in reached its first MM final ever immediately after the by far strongest player in the state transferred out.

Having worked my way to being stat-max before red badges when it was 'only' just into a 5 figure exercise - and not a 6 figure commitment like it is now... I enjoy it far more without the arms race push. No expectations, no disappointments. No way I'd want to be in a top alliance (and I've been asked by most of them bc I have heaps of kills I guess they think I'm strong), I'd get smoked all the time

The game is currently a hot mess and we hear so little of you guys (basically nothing)….

1. I am glad you all had your National holiday, but while you were gone, a bug on alliance duals appeared, not all players got their troops back… Due to your absence, it seems to be more of an issue, since it took more then a week and still it wasn’t fully solved for ALL players. When will this fully be solved AND how will these players be compensated?
2. The code rain, the one players loved, for the first time the PLAYERS were excited and thrilled. Then FP found out this was a mistake and instead of going to the root of the problem, they decide to take it from the backpacks of the players, while doing so, taking a bit more every now and then, this could have been solved by going to the root and leave the players’ backpacks untouched. How are you going to compensate this all?
3. The roll back caused login problems for a lot of players. And since it was right before SvS warfare stage started, people couldn’t login and gotten zeroed or lost their rank. How are these players going to be compensated?
4. Still we haven’t heard ANYTHING about the special states, are the special states going to be compensated in a way they become regular compared to their (new) matching pool??
5. Rewards throughout the game are outdated, VIP rewards, all stores, most event rewards and special events are just copy paste, where they DID change the number of pearls to be earned (less), but the ranking rewards are still the same. When will the rewards and stores be updated?
6. POW was up at reset, then taken away a few hours later. What happened? Will we get information about this? Compensation for time spend or for players that missed it?
7. More communication was promised, we currently see no communication. IF there is a message, it is send too late, AFTER updates or roll backs are done. Are you going to improve your communication?

Observation: CMs are barely online to engage with the community. CM stands for Community Manager.
Consequence: Many players are not happy with the lack of communication and transparency from the CMs.
Suggested Solutions: Replace the CMs with more competent ones and those who will actually engage and build a positive relationship with the SOS community. Appoint more CMs if current CMs can’t do what they’re supposed to. Better yet, look up “community manager skills” in a search engine.
