I'm now at 60 coin's per try which is £20 🤬 I would advise to avoid that event like the plague. As there's no guaranteed to get a ball to rank up. After purchasing all value bundles, what I have to show for my money is 600 pearls, 10 dice, statue permit and 13 star's which buys f*** all in there shop. But don't panic there be recycled at the end of the event. 😁

Hey all, I see the new developer feedback is not as great after all the reporting of the broken alliance duels event - I agree it needs a lot more work; needed to take in feedback in PTR, and test… we can only do so much to push it. I’ll draft up a feedback report and then I’ll push it on to the DLMODs so it can be looked into from a different perspective.

What if. Hypothetically. You get a maximum of 5 million troops. Your hospital holds 5 million troops. There is no enlistment any more. There is a skill that recovers up to 20% of your hospital capacity. Losses are still incurred if you attack an hq. Training past 5 million troops auto discharges and you get a 50% rss rebate

In the recent developer feedback, the developers are only “considering” reducing the earnings from attacking another players HQ.

Consequence
It will not stop the bigger players from hitting settlements to earn/obtain points needed for event/MIGO.

Suggested Solution(s)

• Remove the event at its entirety
• Remove it from MIGO featured ranking
• Prevent the settlements and tiles being hit
• Have it as an environment like RR, no losses and
• see if any extra points can be obtained whilst under bubble reining the tower/control centre

IRL happens, we had several players getting zeroed by own state.

We had gathering tiles, tents and players attacked more than the actual buildings in the event as it was used to bully instead of actually doing the event.

I hate to say it but I think the event could actually work if it was thought through properly. Seeing a lot of my friends being zeroed at 2am their time and me being powerless to stop it grated on me massively.. Yes, people could have bubbled but whilst some people live for this game, most don’t and it was the samll guys that suffered, P13s zeroing P5s, the whole thing sucked and they just can’t see it. It was completely predictable, it shouldn’t have come as a surprise to them to now have to ‘consider’ it.

Alliance duels - The fundamental concept of the event 2 alliances having to coordinate to defend and attack opponent buildings was good... we were fortunate to agree to no hq hits and focused on the buildings "for fun", then did tent hits on both sided to try and get migo points

BUT the matching/declaration is ridiculous as it doesn't take into account power just migo points which means an alliance with maxed players can declare on an alliance of mostly f2p and midspenders and no hope of win
Add onto that, that the duel buildings were effectively meaningless as they didn't provide sufficient points and that settlement hits were allowed resulting in permanent losses - it became ridiculous.
Was this a result of whales asking for more ways to zero weaker alliances?

• 4 years of in game bullying, pedophiles and doxing in state chats that the game wont assist with
• 4 years of false advertising, taken advantage of those with gambling addictions
• 4 years of watching FP break their own TOS everyday.
• 4 years waiting for official published list of where players can purchase to not break TOS
• 4 years of poor compensation, bugs (features) that grow year over year – month over month

Players no longer recognize the game they are playing. Sadly after 4 years I don’t believe the main discord or any other official avenue FP has provided has done anything but provide false hope. I’m shocked every day that folks still believe there is any chance FP will make changes and the game will be great again. I’m not sure given the gap, issues and bugs it can even be fixed. When I look on other FP game discords the same comments on game experience is echoed in all of them.

THOUGHTS ON DEV FEEDBACK 9 SEPTEMBER

1️⃣ ALLIANCE DUELS:
Per the written rules and the chat with Becca 28 August, Alliance Duels were marketed as a safer version of single alliance cross-state KE. This turned into a slaughterhouse for many states and alliances, and it was developer-sanctioned for profit. Players have spoken out about the following, which are still left unaddressed:

• alliances uninvolved in battles were able to be attacked
• event was not limited to opponents in other states, and was used as a control or punishment by bigger alliances against smaller ones in their own states
• Bidding and truce times didn't work properly and alliances had a very small window of time to act in order to try and save themselves, which did not work
• Points earnings were not tied to the special buildings, instead focused on actual player attacks, creating an environment wherein players were HUNTED DOWN and KILLED systematically
• There is no revival option
• It was tied to a World Event, earns low points, and has reduced interest in continuing for many players
• The total annihilation of troops has left players unable to engage in their state events and their alliance events, unless they pay real money to train new troops, heal ones in hospital, and clear their enlistment
• The ±5 ranking mechanic is NON-FUNCTIONING provided alliances bid enough war tokens to hunt a weaker opponent, once again prioritizing spenders over free to mid-spend teams

2️⃣ PATH OF WATER SUMMIT:

Many teams found the event qualifiers confusing and poorly developed, matching teams with no clear reasoning. Here is how:

• Many found they were against teams filled with massively stronger opponents, including those with a sizable monetary investment, ensuring loss of stars and rewards.
• Stars were not awarded properly, and I have little faith in the feedback posted by company representatives that this has been adequately managed
• Battle times 2-6UTC and 11-21UTC were not found to be ideal for players in certain times
• Communications and planning was difficult with players in other states as there are few methods available for the purposes of strategizing. One Strike Team chat box is not sufficient.
• Multiple gameplay errors continued, including Data Sync Errors, lags, blank screens, and boots, which made many matches unplayable or easily lost despite the ability and strength of players engaged

3️⃣ EVENTS:

Relevant optimizations for events Survival of the Fittest, Alliance Throwdown, and subsequently State Versus State (which follows some SotF mechanics) should include without question:

• Points earnings for any use of Legendary (gold) hero fragments for the purposes of upgrading or refinement, in the interest of maintaining engagement (player-side) and profit (dev-side)
• Access to necessary items for tasks have been noticeably reduced or removed for the purposes of profit, without considering overall community needs. This has left players feeling pressured to spend, rather than increase time spent in-game to earn those items through team play and event engagement.
• The placement of King of the Hill (KotH) and Reservoir Raid (RR) was intentional by the developers, particularly RR which currently takes place after SvS and requires the expense of real monies for some in order to heal and simply play with their teams.
• Introducing a Ranking system into KotH is another attempt to force engagement and competition in an event many find otherwise unlikeable. Rewards adjustment needs to be considered in order to make this more attractive.

4️⃣ TO THE DEVELOPERS:
Despite multiple engagement events aimed at community involvement with the development team via representatives, the developers at FunPlus still display little concern for their community. This will continue to have a negative effect on the company:

• Profits will continue to fall as they did in Q1 & 2, despite a slight raise in Q3.
• Players will leave the game in droves and be unwilling to play other titles released by FunPlus and its subsidiaries
• Players will use their consumer freedoms and actively affect download statistics, profits, client reviews, and product viability through word-of-mouth and customer satisfaction surveys from app clients.
• Future collaborative projects, such as the DC game coming in April, will be negatively affected by this, illustrating the company as unreliable and undesirable as a partnered publisher and developer.

Listen to your communities. We will tell you what we want to see, what we like, what we would pay money for, and how to develop a product in a way which would increase attractiveness to current and future players, as well as other potential corporate partners.
By giving player communities more attention, transparency, and regard, FunPlus and its shareholders as well as potential and current partners could see exponential gains in both long and short term product viability, consumer loyalty, and profitability.

Azrael, a while ago I had suggested using a part of our settlement to unlock limitless specific missions which mirrored the old Daryl challenges.
My idea was to use the train station at the top of our settlements to unlock explorer challenges which were formatted exactly like the Daryl challenges, but used various heroes and had instances which awarded materials.

This would mean there would be three bars to maintain for a selected hero by players: food, water, morale
There would be instances of meeting NPCs and making active decisions in order to advance further.
Players could heal or help other state members in those challenges who had depleted all three bars by providing them some of their own resources in order to advance, which would then reward helpful players at completion of the level.

So far, this has been something the company has ignored. Would it actually be something you think players would enjoy as an additional gameplay mode?

The MM bug this week ruined the event for us. We wasted day 1 trying to kill an unkillable fiend. Then wasted day 2 sitting in buildings we should have taken on day 1 so that we could then move on to connected buildings. Today we managed to move from rank 4 to rank 2 in spite of the disadvantages, but no compensation, and no hope of playing the final.

It would have been better where the headcount was say 50 to 100. During the event say a max of 10 teams could play at anyone time. Stars won or lost during matches would be pulled into one grouping.

This would have allowed a lot more people to play and get together.
