May I ask if you using an emulator to play the game? I recall myself having the same issue a few years back ( we didn't have the game's PC version back then so I was using BlueStacks)

Sometimes emulators gave me issues like this. Restarting was helping me as well

Then it depends on what you wanna try really, you can try to reinstall the game itself to see if that helps, or you can try to uninstall the spesiffic latest windows updates to identify exactly wich one is causing the issues

I just recently reinstalled it. I deleted it because after several updates the game stopped working. I played on an old netbook. It's strange that the game works there, but on a modern PC there are constant lags.

Agree with the MOD, you can revert Windows update from the Windows Settings here, just make sure to only remove the latest date. But if you are really unconfortable I would suggest seeking help from someone with a bit more technical PC experience 🙂

Also prefferably someone who can physically sit with you and help 😅

I understand your frustation, please try following these steps:

• Run the program as Administrator.
• Allow the application through the PC firewall and software firewalls that may be blocking the connection to update.
• Reinstall. First, copy the prefs folder to keep account information when reinstalling, then uninstall. After reinstalling the PC version, close the game/launcher, and copy the prefs folder back into State of Survival and "Replace the file in the destination". All linked accounts will be back when you open the launcher.

Hi Tynomite, if WiFi works but mobile not, it seems to be less an app issue.
I would suggest entering and re-entering plane mode because it is most likely a connectivity issue where the cecular might be strong enough for some alps but not enough for others.

Ever since the latest game update my pc launcher has been weird (I use the official sos download from funplus) and the game keeps freezing. I keep having to go manually shut it down through the task manager. Anyone else having problems with it?

Several issues. 1) the launcher opens the game immediately as soon as it loads instead of letting you manually select an account. 2) as soon as it opens a profile, the launcher shuts down so if you want to launch multiple you have to go load it again. 3) I've had it get stuck on the load screen only twice. 4) the game itself keeps completely freezing during gameplay. I've had to go into task manager and kill it from there at least 15 times over the last day.

Hey, I struggle with every Purrfect jam event cause I can’t claim state crates from players in other alliances. And inside my own alliance can claim them only via chat. The small crate above the settlement is missing. I’ve raised several bugs to support, attached screenshots and videos and my tickets were closed. It also not related to the network (it’s same when I’m connected to mobile network or to wi-fi). It’s also not related to the daily crate limit.

To add to My fellow moddie, you could try using the ultra lite quality untill hopefully it gets better, and make sure u have the 60 fps turned on in settings, also my game usually lags a lot more when my phone battery is on low charger mode as it makes everything slower

I play on Bluestack and tried almost everywhere - It's the same everywhere - it's the game's fault or their maintenance. I would rather say that their new version is not valid because the old one works as it should.

Same thing happening to me... but with a little twist happening a couple of times... after first account loading and the launcher shutting down... once I opened it again to launch another account the first account froze... no interaction available... had to forcefully close the game and start the whole process again.

They actually do fix them. It Does help to send ingame ticket then make mods aware here so devs can go straight to your ticket to see what the issue is.

Well I have been missing out on most of the events going on especially the terminator event and I have been having this issue since the day the new update came and the worst part is I can’t even find the older version to try and install and give that a go

That same exact thing happened to me during the Turtle event. Its why my turtles are crap and i have to save every general reso ticket i can and upgrade them slowly. It sucks i know and ive been there and was so angry and upset and rightly so, especially after spending on event to progress. They sent out the usual we sorry heres some maps for you and other little goodiees. But that doesnt alter the fact that i missed out not only on rewards, rank, maxing out my heros, but i missed out on all the event passes i had spent on and couldnt collect as couldnt progress. Thats the part there they need to fix! At least send half of what we would have gotteb if we had completed the passes, but to lose $50 worth because of a glitch on their end Greatly impacts our gameplay in a negative way. It almost made me delete the game but my bunnies keep me here and i have seen some vast improvements in the reward systems and also in how they have been changing some things in the gameplay. Basically its not perfect but they are doing better and its not as bad as it once was.

Technically im Not a “Spender” .
I only spend on hero events like Turtles, Hitman, terminators, etc..
And that is Only with a apple prepaid card at $100 that i load diamonds to my account. Most times i only use half that. And I only spend on my main, not the other five accts I also have that are 100%F2P.
So yes I speak from both sides of the fence, but ive been laughed at when i used to say i was a spender when i told them i have a max budget of $100 pet month. Some months way less

I have the same issue as NeoMouser, upgrading the hero is not the issue, but the XP books used by tapping this newly designed button don't count towards the daily crate. They touched again something that didn't need to be touched, so either they remove the XP books usage from daily crates, or just roll it back how it was, no one knows why this was implemented in first place anyway

I think I've figured out what the problem is. If you have used an experience book (combat manual) and it exceeds the experience required to upgrade one level (as example, i have 22k/12k), this will "automatically" upgraded until the experience that is already unlocked is completely used up As soon as there is less than needed, you will again have a window with the ability to use combat manual

So, if you used to use Combat manual V and jump to multiple levels at once, for example, now you need to manually click the upgrade button several times, but it still counts as using 1 book, and if you used it yesterday but continued upgrading today, it won't count towards today's usage...

The biggest issue I see with the Devs is they don't take most complaints seriously. They brush things off. They patronize with simple suggestions and close a ticket without ensuring the issue is resolved.

This is NOT a way to run any company.

We don't have svs because of the bug and received compensation for that but some, especially whales, had started prep before the event was closed to us. Thousands of plasma and such got wasted by one of our biggest spenders and so far he's only hearing that nothing is going to come of it.

Hello. Are you really using the Combat Manual, or are you just leveling up your hero? With the latest updates, it's easy to confuse these two actions...
If you have more experience than required (screenshot 1), it means that the items were used earlier, and you're currently using the already unlocked experience rather than the Combat Manual.
To complete the task, you should use heroes with less experience than required (screenshot 2), then you will have a window where you can use Combat Manuals (Screenshot 3).
I recommend leave one hero with no experience (if you don't have any, reset the hero) and using only the Combat Manual I for daily task

You can try to do some troubleshooting fot the PC but please open the ticket as tech team is currently checking this issue for other player as well.

Healing different.
Damage output of heroes different
Shielding different
Damage reduction different.
Etc etc.

Healing rider with extra troops can heal more, and thus, those it heals output damage more.
If rider heal hunter
But enemy don't hit hunter
Enemy take more casualties.

Just 1 very simple example.

300k vs 300k fight compared to 500k vs 500k Fight
Most likely won't have the same % of wounded / dead / survive

200k at 60/20/20 with enemy that hit infantry rider
And don't really hit much hunter till infantry/rider dead
Infantry is a defense troop. So having that extra nearly double troops count.
Amplifies the length of time before it hits hunters.

It's hard for a lot to comprehend honestly why it happens. But there's reasons for it.

Also.
There's 1 big thing to consider.
Gene's.
Cripple I believe is random. There's a few others like it.
This skill reduces damage of "1 or many random enemy quads blah blah"
Reduces damage by X% and reduces by 0.6% every 4 round until the end of the battle.

So those couple genes can play a huge role in changing the outcome for you/your friend to lose at 300 but win at 500 which is reverse of what's happened a few times previously.

I beat many opponents that are “stronger” simply due to all the skills i have stacked. They play a major role depending on which skills and which turn they activate.

Frankly it will be next to impossible for f2p to do anything this round on it unless you have an event that drops clovers.
This totally messes up so many peoples strategies who plan each of the stages according to the Calendar of events.

I don't think custom shard boxes will return to Path of Secret. I wish they would. But the developers don't care about F2P players; they just want them to spend. Those T-800 training shards aren't useful to F2p, because some can't even locate them without paying

Hello Prince, unfortunately no one of us have a direct contact with devs, but we already filed multiple feedback about optimization and adjust on the client of the game (like removing pop up for a smooth game play), about the terminator loading screen I would say who it will disappear in not so much day so I could suggest you to up vote the feedback for game optimization / pop up removal, than compile a new feedback about that, but of course if you want a feedback specifically on that topic we can do it
