There’s the treasure hunting subsume, but I always found it pretty useless. Up until parallax box-breaking with loot detection is still the best way to go.

Since your Mr 8 you can obtain the Exergis one of the strongest shotguns early game and should carry you to completion of the star chart. Only downside to getting it is you need some fortuna bounty loot.

A quick question about Primary/Secondary/Melee Arcanes: For those arcanes that have the trigger condition(s) of "on kill" or "damage taken" - do you need to have that equipped weapon in hand during at the time during the trigger condition(s) for the buff to apply, or will the trigger conditions alone be enough to still apply the buff(s) even with your primary/secondary/melee weapon holstered at the time?

It's kind of funny that I never really put much investment into arcanes before now because I never had alot of arcanes slot items on hand to start slotting my gear with arcanes, atleast until recently after keeping up with the seasons in 1999. So now I'm actually interested in learning more about a game mechanic that's been collecting dust in my orbiter for the past decade now xD

I ask because I have a few primary and secondary arcanes that apply a damage buff for a set period of time after making a kill - and I want to know if those buffs would still apply even if I killed something using a warframe ability or an exalted weapon instead of the weapon with the arcane equipped to do said kills (so long as the weapon is still in my load out, but holstered).

I just gave the wiki a look over and the only galvanized melee mod that CAN'T be used with the sacrificial mods is Galvanized Steel, due to it being a different version of True Steel & Sacrificial Steel.
Galvanized Reflex and Galvanized Elementalist can still be used along side the Sacrificial mods. Atleast according to the wiki.

I used Strun and it worked well enough. Tbf I think if you have Lex Incarnon you actually want a primer primary to put Viral on it. Even of it's just some random Ignis or Boltor or sth with 2 6060s and some sc mods. Just enough to be able to easily get 4 viral stacks.
