Magnetic was meta for priming, it gave a free element that was hard to mod before they added a mod for it
Toxin is great for damage, both corrosive and viral are awesome
tox rly limits you on nukor tbh if you want viral heat or elec you still have to mod toxin but you'll have unwanted higher tox weight -> viral weight
good
wht archon shard do i need for gyre for now i hav the red shard for str
purple shards to work off of her frequent electric procs seem like a good move
mmm casting speed
so all purple??
I think im running 1 cast speed 1 parkour 3 purple elec dmg
for now this all i hav
Which incarnon is better Anku or Hate
I have an Anku riven and the dispo is 5/5
And is the Anku even better than reaper prime?
Burning hate huh
best arcane for torid incarnon is deadhead?
Is there a sword and shield incarnon?
Ack and brunt
Got a question regarding modding. Let's say I've got a weapon with a high base criticial multiplier and high base crit chance. I then add the standard base damage mod (e.g., Serration), a multishot mod, a mod to increase critical chance, and a mod to increase critical damage. I know I can then add hunter munitions if I want to proc slashes, but what if I'm looking to build a heavy raw damage weapon? Do I just add the mods for what a faction is generally weak against? For example, if it was against Corpus, I'd add Infected Clip?
thoughts in this riven?
You always want to add at least one elemental damage type mod, due to how those mods' extra damage is calculated
So I'd want to add the 90% elemental mods instead of the 60% ones, right? Since I'm not building for status chance? (Let's assume I already have a primer for viral + other elements)
The +90% is based on your total physical damage, rather than how a +90% physical damage type mod would only be based on that specific damage type
Most likely yeah
Any suggestions on a subsume to put on Oraxia?
None tbh
You usually add primed fever strike and melee exposure
So something like this then? Any suggestions as to what the remaining slots should be used for?
get some Galvanized mods, replace Infected Clip with like a Heat mod
Why a heat mod?
Nourish
Heat is generally a more useful damage type than Toxin
I figured it was gonna Nourish.
Oops, seems I out bane of grineer instead of bane of corpus
It’s her best subsume
Even against Corpus?
No, against Corpus you'd want Toxin
Corpus die so fast it’s not worth to go toxin
True that
Unless u do level cap of smth
Only factions u actually need to really mod for is grineer/corupted
passive scourge build. Give it a try riven is fire rate and reload
What is a good hemlith to put on volt?
That’s why everything is either heat viral or heat corrosive
I see
oh the heat is for orange shard stacking don't mind that
I can save on the mod slot(s) if I apply viral with a primer or something else, right? So I can just use heat against grineer, orokin, and infested?
Can anyone suggest which would be a better roll to keep for the time being please
@fervent rapids @wary forge what if I was building a status weapon instead? How would that go? Use mods that increase status chance and use the 60% elemental mods instead of the 90%?
U really want multishot
I know thats why I'm town 😭😭
60/60 mods, go for Viral + Heat or Corrosive + Heat, Condition Overload scaling
True! Okay I'll keep it and get rolling
Thanks!
and btw torid is not the only weapon in the game :)
Condition overload, that's for melee, right? For primary I just do the 60/60 and either use a primer for vial with heat on primary or viral + heat directly on primary?
I know! I have plentyyyyyyy of hours using other weapons, just playing around 🙂
I’ve seen so many rev torids in belly of the beast
Legitimately painful
good to hear. I hate it when people suggest "meta" weapons.
It is a melee mod, but there are mods for other weapons that also have "per status" damage scaling, which is commonly referred to as CO-scaling (Condition Overload), since that mod was the first to have it
Oh god, don't remind me 😭😭
Don't worry 😂 I just use what I like then rotate out tbh
What's the mod called for primary weapons?
the part I hate most is people paying 300+ p rivens for weapons that are mid because some youtuber said it is op
Galvanized aptitude
Or savvy for shotguns
Dark split sword, lol
Galvanized Shot for Secondaries
Atm I'm using dagath with furis or oberon with boar prime, they're going brrrrr
It's so daft, 300p not put on fashion 🤷🏼
My favorite bullet hose is dera
That sounds good!
Why corrosive + heat btw?
it does lvl cap
Their status effects work well
but cyte09 is bugged on his 2 a lot and footage can be dishonest
For all factions as well?
No
But armored factions are the most durable
you need a dot on your weapon at all times. honestly blast should be better as it is aoe.
For Grineer but that's all anyone cares about.
best thing you can have is electric viral and armor strip/corrosive
Technically you don't need a dot though it's nice to have
For corpus you could use explosion/toxin
Level cap is typically a grineer void fissure, so it’s mostly armored enemies
Weapons like Dtox can go pure corrosive raw damage
Most builds reflect that
fissure cascade is always grineer normal rotates between grineer and corpus
ive finally unlocked archon shards and im putting violet shards on my Gyre prime mainly going for a gun buffing build so im selecting the option that buffs primary weapon damage with electricity. Was wondering though are the buffs additive or multiplicative? and would it be wise to use 2 purples for weapon buffing and 2 purples for ability buffing so my abilities still nuke a little or shall i just focus on one?
electric mod
Best to focus on abilities or weapons
Hybrid builds are just worse at both
ther is no additive or multiplicative in this game
there is on which damag elayer this exists
thats odd because on a build guide the person stated the archon shards are multiplicative
layers multiply each other, upgrading a layer is always additive
so i was wondering if that was just for the ability buffs or if it applied to the weapon buffs too
there is no such thing
can i link the segment of the video?
bad explanation. Multiplication exists but it isn't item based ever
Ability damage shards multiply with everything else
yes I will explain.
+electric shards are additive with element mods
yes
ahhhh okay thanks for clearing it up
is there a clear better one to go for or are either viable the gun buffs or ability buffs
different layer of damage. All layers multiply with each other
hmmm i see thanks for clearing it up :)
Both are viable
so just depends on playstyle
Weapons can go to a higher level with gyre
awesome im going for the gun buffing one
golvanized aptitude too. some weapons are "multiplicative" some are "additive" multiplicative just means they create a new layer for some reason and by nature it multiplies
ive been using cedo prime and its a blast i just keep running out of ammo tho haha not sure how to fix that issue but ill find something
appreciate you explaining it a lot
when someone says additive you need to ask additive to what? crit damage? serration damage?
Condition overload effects are incredibly bugged and behave weirdly on a lot of weapons
headshots have 2 layers. base and bonus. base depending on enemy and acuity mods. passives arcanes, abilities, incarnons etc go to multiplied version layer
seek and acuity mods are the only sources of base hs multiplier boosts. idk if there are more
np always glad to help
any waepon able to oneshot eximus in steelpath from archwing for POE affinty farm?
I think the affinity farm usually isn't steel path
But there are definitely weapons that could do that
With some difficulty probably
yeah sp doesnt give increased xp so just do it in base path
Is there a really solid kullervo build that utilizes rauta?
I like running warframes with their signature weapons
just build kullervo, make a full multishot rauta build, then spam an enemy til u get 12x combo
What weapons are good with kullervo?
Melee weapons I mean
Glaive or heavy swords?
Most of them
ooo flexible with anything
I don't think there are any melee weapons that don't work well with 600% crit chance or however much wrathful advance gives
str x 200%
how do i build acceltra?
swap firestorm for a toxin mod and run crux
and hellfire instead of thermite
or wildfire tbf
anyone got a good astilla prime build? prefer good single target
Been testing a bit, replaced serration with vigilante arma for more multi, and crux with deadhead since every so often i get at least 1 headkill, its not bad. when i get acceltra up to max rank ill be able to put the ammo drum mod on exilus for more ammo
any1 got a mesa build i should do?
Been running this
Specifically for Gauss
which one is better?
the right one, and it's not even close
Does Nezha's divine retribution work well with archon continuity to get corrosive stacks?
Divine retribution normally kills too fast to worry about armour stripping
But it could be useful if it counts as an ability applying toxin
Thank you!
10000000% right one, damage multishot crit damage
theres build examples in here: https://discord.com/channels/552966801558863896/1500489300754825367
what cases would ennervate be better than like flare or just a damage arcane?
when the weapons got a low crit stat
like balefire and glory
and nukor
what about like high fire rate?
depends on the crit chance
regulators had a fast fire rate, but also a high crit chance
so she just builds crit normally
Watch how we get Regulators Enervate builds as Heirloom releases
do you guys consider mesa as a metaslop frame?
no
mesa hasnt been meta for anything for long time
dude we’ve had so much worse
mhb released an irradiate mesa
what does this mean?
with a pure rad tazicor
wf youtubers are stupid
could anyone help with my okina build? i really like this thing and want it to be super good
im pretty sure mh also was hailing the acceltra prime as one of the best primaries in the game when it was rotating
i can't remember if it was the acceltra or the phantasma but like...both are nowhere close lol
That's as good as it can get (can use range mod on glad might)
Aside from glad might being replaced by faction mod but who cares about that
Irradiate mesa lol
A build of all time
Or range mod
irradiate mesa is a piece of shit
Oh yeah didn't notice it wasn't there
what one should i use? i have spring loaded and the normal reach
Spring loaded better than normal reach right
Yes
yeah
Use that one
2 vs 1.5
I like range mods
is primed 2.5 or 3?
The conditional is super easy to upkeep, so there’s no reason to not use it
But when will we get follow through mods DE
3
1.5 follow through on exalted blade
is crepsucular worth running on voruna if im not using her 4 and just using a melee? i assume not but idk what to switch it with
U will know soon
Hotshot is hard to upkeep
Same with icestorm
depends which melee setup
tennokai no
heavy slam yea
i only asked cause i was running enervate on my regulators 👀
Strike and fury are decent
Enervate is bad on mesa since she can fairly easily reach 200 modded crit
i kinda almost die a lot and have to spam my 1 to shield gate using just an augur mod
I’d go aegis then
i think i can buy that one at ordies
Also, voruna doesn’t use secondaries much, put augur mods there
this is fine ig
u should go reach over glad might and go cd shards
or faction mod for most dmg
idk if i picked the right evos either
could you maybe help with my mesa?
drop maug, drop augur reach, slot ppg over mag might
what over augur reach?
i mainly play solo, does that aug still work without teammates?
ye
that’s what I use for brightbonnet
whats the ice spring for?
parkour velocity
oh so you bounce higher?
oh
when would hotshot be better than augmented? i only have a rank 1 one
augmented is lowk just never good becasue mesa has some shit ass strength ratios
hotshot is better than avenger at r3
so otherwise just get avenger to r5
ok, tysm
avenger is also free from botb rn so thats good
Can limbos Bubble Headshot? (for riven chal reasons)
We talkin mesa build rn? Go health tank mesa with persistence and neg range gloom fr
do you think hotshot would be worth spending the plat for?
i got it from vosfor gambling with the Hollvania Packs :3
oh i forgot abt that
i dont have much vosfor tho
"Let it ride" ahhhhh moment
Right and keep rolling probably
Okkkk, thx
but fr Can limbos Bubble Headshot? (for riven chal reasons)
what is the most fun incarnon to use in this weeks rotation
What should I be looking for specifically?
?
Hm yeah that's pretty good
eh nah
just grind it out naturally
What element to mod for Torid
why is it r3 to be better than avenger when avenger is 45% cc and hotshot is 2% *50 for r1 hotshot
it depends on the mission length, hotshot takes time to stack
As simply as possible they're different kinds of crit chance
hotshot is modded cc
Unless it's Nova and Mesa
actually yeah i cant math
corroblast, pcr+thermite+high voltage
if you care to swap loadouts run pure tox for corpus, pure blast for infested/techrot/anything that doesn't have high amounts of armor/shield and for single target dps with armor strip, viral heat if no strip
what
Bigger boosts from the Incarnon evolutions in the right areas
Not a math guy so couldn't tell you what exact differences it is in the boosts that are significant but that's the trend with "inferior" versions being better, it's always either riven disposition or incarnon evo boost differences
Ty, ig I gotta refarm all the Duviri stuff to put it on a new vasto
I also assume vasto has a better dispo hopefully
I don't think you need a bunch of resources to swap the adapter? Could be wrong, but definitely yeah if you want to have both Vasto Prime and regular both incarnon'd
Well I can take adapter off my vasto prime but to reapply it on a regular vasto I need the same resources again
I mean it’s not difficult it’s just annoying
Mesa has other ways to increase her CC. orange shards, hotshot/avenger, etc
not by much, base has 1.4 prime has 1.35
True but .05 dispo is .05 dispo
Lul
Secondary Outburst 🗣️
for long missions, 100% the best choice
you can take them off???
i got a 2nd magistar adapter when i put mine on the sancti
but if the mission is like 3-5 min long, i would just skip and go fortifier/flare/encumber (basically anything that doesnt require any effort)
Ok, so I finally replaced Primed Pistol Gambit and Cascadia Flare with Pistol Elementalist and Secondary Enervate
WOW, that's such a big difference in damage numbers
Anything I should change?
What weapon?
You could go for Combat Discipline and Arcane Avenger
i've been thinkin on optimizin this wisp
drop anemic and gunfight for corrosive, then orient for corrosive heat
also drop archon vitality
shit is genuinely useless
(note: the fire rate loss from anemic isn't a DPS decrease primarily because you can add a shitton of it outside of the regulators themselves via the furax melee weapon & reinforced bond)
also suggest amalgam barrel diffusion on your non-regulator secondary weapon as an out-of-the-way buff to her mobility(since the only way she's moving while her guns are drawn is by rolling)
tbf it’s a bigger dps increase than ppg if you have enough external cc
you can get much more external cc than external fr
honestly, over half of mesa's weapon power comes from stuff that isn't her weapon
weapon platform
Once in a lifetime event
ok
