I am working on this, i developed a quick visual identity for some fictional company called "Just", or possibly even "just soda". And practically they produce organic made stuff with minimal ingredients, hence 'just'. Each flavour would have "Just + Flavour" as seen above. I am thinking of taking it a step further and doing other products like perhaps popcorn etc, and then the packaging would say "Just Popcorn." but thats a few steps away for now.

Try making an outline outside of the words? Or change to a font that is less busy. Decide if you want your viewer to focus on the hair or the words, then work to accentuate that. Maybe move the hair on the right further right so that you aren’t cutting off the straight hair at the dividing line, and try making the font bigger?

Super cool works @toxic dome! I like your colors choice for each composition, and the way you combined all the assets, especially for the one. with Messi. One advice that I would have for you is that you might try exporting in PNG or JPEG, the GIF format has some colors limitations, so the final image will have some colors transitions and looks a bit unnatural. 😉

Howdy! Yes, you have to go to File -> Export Image As -> And there you can set the type of file and the size of your image. Also, make sure that your image is large enough to meet the image size you are creating. You can adjust image size in File -> Edit Image size. Let me know if this helps!

I would never think of that that you didn't mentioned 😱 There is pattern in reflection! I have to get rid of that

In this case you have to be more careful. Since you are changing the luminosity of the pot's surface you have to take care of the color cast too if you want it to look professional. I also believe it looks a little bit too bright? Just my thoughts

Hue/sat adjustment layer should do the job. Try masking out the color cast very gently and desaturating it or playing with the lightness

Oh but I think it's subtle, there are some textures in the spoon that kind of hide them, but if you make a color change don't forget the reflections and sometimes the shadows too 🙂

@fallen anchor Ooh, nicely done, cool to see this effect on a landscape! I like it, it has a sort of graphic novel look to it. It'd be interesting to see some lines in the sky around the clouds to unify that inked style a bit more... but not sure if that might not work as well as the flat colors without seeing it. This came out well though, cool style!

@astral sage The letters are looking great in this design! Nicely done. I think the drop shadow is subtle, but it's nice to give it a little added depth. I think a very subtle gradient on the background rather than a flat color could be a nice way to add some more realistic depth/lighting as well. Maybe so that it's just slightly darker near the bottom and slightly lighter towards the top. Perhaps try using a levels adjustment layer to boost the light and dark tones for some added contrast to better match that of the Joyous text. That'd be my best guess for adding more depth to it.

@native shoal play with your blending modes with the face! Love how it is looking atm but I think you can blend the face more and make it look more ghostly. I would go through them all from normal to the luminosity and see which one you like best. I love your font choice and the effects that you put on the title. If you like you can put that in the middle between the face and the house or see how you like that also. But I would personally take the face and put the layer behind the house and using the blending modes. IMO Great job so far!

@sinful tendon Very cool! I recognize that Albert Bierstadt painting, hah. Really interesting to see this done as a study in pixel art form. Definitely helps with focusing on the big shapes and values. My main suggestion would be I think you can go deeper in your darks to get a stronger contrast like we see in the original. Nice work!

After zooming out I also felt my trees were a bit off. I worked mostly in big shapes instead of lines, but I think a smaller brush would have worked better in certain places, but it's a study, so I'll take this and your advice up for next week 😁 Thank you for the feedback.

It’s two separate images (clouds and beach) edited together. I added the cloud reflection and the sphere (just a circle with the cloud layer warped). Turned everything black and white and color graded it with some LUTs. That is pretty much it. Hope it helps 🙂

From what I see you mostly blended the colours in better to the environment but I've heard that Marvel's really strict about character designs/costumes maintaining their pure hue regardless of the environment they're in so I'm not entirely sure this design would be accepted by marvel 🙊

i tried to reduce the blur and add a sharpen mask but there is a problem with skin pores, is there anything like primer to cover them up?!

they just pop up like a carved thing so i've to use blur or spot healing on every single one of them

usually before make up you need to use primer + pore minimizer or foundation to cover the pores

I'm no make up artist, but primer also leaves a powdered layer with a certain texture

I'd still opt for a noise texture

noise texture can give a good skin texture effect but will never be as good as real skin. that's why professional retouching means non-destructive workflow where the goal is to use only existing pixel data without creating any new, artificial data

fully agree. There's also no problem with some pores showing through, it's not natural having this smooth of a skin.
what I'd suggest is a texture that mimics the primer, not so much the pores
